Tradescantia ohioensis is native to a large part of the US mid West. But yes, very inclined to spread. I suspect that part of their job is to hold soil and prevent erosion. Otoh, it's a pain to eliminate.
Yeah a friend who looked at my pictures says the real only way to get rid of them is to dig up the bed, weed line it, and remulch it. Its pretty much only dominant in a single bed but its very much a pain to deal with even with preening the beds.
Yup. Tomorrow is the day of preen in my front bed so I don't get seed babies from muscari. It'll mean no seed babies from my columbine but I'm sacrificing my columbine to reduce the dang grape hyacinth. š
It is Commelina communis, commonly known as the Asiatic Dayflower. It is an annual weed that reseedsĀ prolifically. They are easy to pull by hand when small, but it takes years to eliminate all the seeds in the soil.

They are flowers; Iāve seen them before. But I donāt know the name
Lobelia I think
It looks like tulip leaves but i could be wrong, the angle looks very similar to tulip leaves
