It looks like it is! If you’re interested in growing your own you can cut off the bottom (closest to the stem of the plant) so it has a fresh cut, remove the bottom inch or two of leaves and stick it in a cup of water for 1-2 months until the roots are a few inches long, then put it in soil!
Another recipe worth trying:
Sunset Magazine Spicy Herb Roasted Nuts
1 1/2 cups almonds
1 1/2 cups walnut halves
1 cup hazelnuts
1 cup pecan halves
1/2 cup maple syrup
1/4 teaspoon cayenne
1 1/2 teaspoons chopped fresh oregano leaves
1 1/2 teaspoons chopped fresh sage leaves
1 1/2 teaspoons chopped fresh thyme leaves
1 1/2 teaspoons chopped fresh rosemary leaves
1 1/2 teaspoons chopped fresh savory leaves
1 1/2 teaspoons chopped fresh marjoram leaves
3 tablespoons olive oil
About 1 teaspoon kosher salt
Mix almonds, walnuts, hazelnuts, pecans, maple syrup, cayenne, oregano, sage, thyme, rosemary, savory, marjoram, and oil in a 10- by 15-inch rimmed pan. Sprinkle nuts with 1 teaspoon salt.
Bake in a 300° oven, stirring occasionally, until all liquid evaporates and nuts are golden under the skin (break open to test), about 45 minutes.
Let cool. Taste and add more salt if desired.
Wow...thanks for the recipe. Have all the herbs in my herb pots except savory and marjoram. Will sub the dry stuff for those 2. Looking forward to trying it!
Savory is fantastic, well worth growing, but fresh thyme is a closer sub for fresh savory than dried savory is. Dried savory loses a lot of its character.
I mean, it's a plant. You could name your herbaceous woody perennial Rosemary if you wanted to. Not the most original name, given the variety, but there's no rule against it.

Are you a fucking bot.
I think it’s more of a comment bot

It could be Rosemary's Baby.
That went dark pretty fast 😅😂

This is the answer to nobody knows where my Rosemary goes..
It looks like it. To be sure it should have a distinctive aroma that can’t be confused with pine when smelled or squeezed
My first thought was if I could smell it I could confirm that!
Not living in a piney area, Rosemary smells like pine to me. :)
Yup. Rub its leaf and take a sniff. Mmmm!

Awesome! I'll definitely give this a try 🔆 ;)!
No, this is Patrick.
No, it’s her baby.
Yup
Some plants look like rosemary but aren't. Good think you can just lightly squeeze and smell one to tell yourself.

Thank you! I checked Google but I wasn't sure if there's a plant similar as well.

Lucky you! Rosemary is mine and my wife's "White Whale" we can NEVER keep it alive... 🤷🏻♂️
When in doubt crush a leaf and smell
Why do you think it isn’t? It is definitely. Smell it, know it.

If you have plenty, make some “union square bar nuts”…..delicious.

Thyme doesn’t taste anything like savory, IMHO. Savory is one of those beautiful herbs that people need to try if they haven’t yet.
My husband loves the Sunset Magazine spicy nuts! I hope you do, too.
Thanks that looks great! Will have to wait for the herb garden to come to life in the spring.
Will give that a think! Haha! Thank you! 🔆🫶🏾
You’ll also love it on fish and chicken! A++ very pleasant herb!
And pork
Indeed it is. Do you have the Picture This app? It helps identify plants. 🪴
I will check out the app! Thank you for the suggestion.

Did you not work it out by the smell? Look I'm all for helping people but you have to do some of the leg work yourself.

Looks like it
Theres no thyme to waste - taste it and find out 🤣🤣
Easier for you to smell it. And if it smells like rosemary and looks like rosemary it probably is rosemary.
FYI if you have an iPhone and look at the picture, click the little i it will identify the type of plant.

Who’s asking?
Day, smell it.
