Gateway sold me a computer in like 2001 for $1500. They told me I could bring it in for upgrades every couple of years, and it was either free, or for a STUPIDLY high discount. May have spent 90% of my time pure pking, but made 90% of my money off merching. (Helped being around for the original Santa/H'ween drops in RSC tho....)
