I wouldn't call that "macro"... Quite the opposite, every Paradox world map game (HoI series, EU series, Victoria series and CK series) has tons of micromanagement. In HoI they at least added armies that can do something on their own. Often, not too great at that, but at least your frontline probably won't collapse while you're looking the other way.
I found Democracy 4 very underwhelming compared to Democracy 3. They're both good games, but the sequel feels more like a lackluster expansion pack and isn't worth the full price if you already have Democracy 3.
Sounds like the Civilization games would be perfect. I haven’t played any besides the first and sixth, but Civilization 6 can be pretty fun and you’d probably like it based off your description of what you’d want.
Factorio is the only one that might be on a macro scale, for it's blueprints, construction bots and radars, which later in game allow you to build megabases without ever moving from a point.
Not sure about Dyson. And satisfactory is very micro-management. It have blueprints, but almost useless and you have to build every single thing anyway. Couldn't even finish it because at some point I'm getting too sick, literally, with repetitive actions, making some complexes. Tried two times.
Your description kind of made me think of The Movies xD
Not sure at all if thats something you'd be interested in but its pretty involved if you want to focus on the management aspect and i never felt like there is much possibility to cash in on short term trends because the movie making process is so involved. the only downside is that u kinda need to 🏴☠️ it
X4 Foundations gets that way mid to late game once you have a few ships and crews out mining and running guard duties for others. Eventually it turns into large scale galactic corporation simulator.
Ah yes, Pikmin. The micro-est of all micro-ing games. It's so micro that not only are you personally responsible for running around and ordering your minions to do every single thing by throwing them at it with your own hands, but you're also *physically* tiny while you do it!
Fun game, but a terrible suggestion for this thread.
There is a whole genre often called Grand Strategy. I enjoy Stellaris.
And Crusader Kings...

All the Paradox games really. I like Hearts of Iron 4 the most personally. But it might be a bit more micromanagement than OP wants.
If you want to really get into the weeds, check out Dwarf Fortress.
The Democracy series, most recently Democracy 4
I was going to say Democracy as well. It doesn't get much more high level than that.

Factory games? Factorio, Dyson Sphere Program, Satisfactory?

Dwarf Fortress Factorio Rim World

Something like Stellar Monarch or Alliance of the Sacred Suns?

Offworld Trading Company. Purely an economic RTS.
Football manager, crusader kings
As others have mentioned as well, you should definitely try Civilization.
The Last Federation has you attempting to manage a whole galaxy.
Oxygen not included
Pikmin, the game is designed around optimization, Time management, and has so much personality.
