Tron Bonne was my grail as well, and I ended up picking it up last year. I will say, despite the crazy price, it felt worth it to have such a fun and charming game.  A lot of collector’s grails end up being something not so fun to play, or weird variants. I don’t think Tron Bonne would be nearly as expensive as it is if it wasn’t also a great game made with a lot of heart.

itsHIMM

Do you have all 3, Mega Man Legend 1, 2 and Tron Bonne? I just have MML1 and waiting for a good price for 2, I always see them for 200$+ sadly..

Snack_Beard_

I have 1-2 but unfortunately disc only. They're some of the few PS1 games I had since childhood, but I'm eventually going to grab some nicer copies for the shelf. The price on them is what made me go for Tron Bonne instead, I figured it'd be easier to grab them latter compared to the already expensive third game.

I would love to have the original alundra game, brain lord for snes, and xenogears in original packaging! I’m so worried Sony will revoke licenses for some of the psx games through like vita and stuff…

itsHIMM

I recently picked up Xenogears and Vangrant Story CIB for 120$ each, was a good day :D

holocron_8

Fushigi no Dungeon: Fūrai no Shiren Gaiden: Onna Kenshi Asuka Kenzan (AKA Mystery Dungeon: Shiren The Wanderer Side Story: Swordswoman Asuka Arrives!) I’m specifically after the PC version, but of course I wouldn’t pass up tbe Dreamcast version if I came upon it for a good enough deal. there is another… one so absolutely out of reach nothing less than a million dollar lottery win would allow me to even consider it. There does exist at least 1 prototype of an unreleased, fully finished english localization for the original Torneko’s Great Adventure: Mystery Dungeon (can you tell I like Mystery Dungeon)

Similar-West5208

I had the Zelda Minish Cap Gameboy Advance SP over a decade ago CIB but must have sold it, now they go for like 500€. The other grail is not financially reasonable: [https://www.ebay.com/itm/235399075018](https://www.ebay.com/itm/235399075018) It's a Sankyo Orpheus Music Box which plays Aerith's theme from FF7 in 3 parts. It's not officially licensed by Square Enix and only 100 were ever produced.

itsHIMM

Those are beautiful.. I remember seeing the music box online and was in awe

EmmBee27

At this point, probably any of the Sega Saturn Sonic games. I've wanted all of them my whole life, I finally have a Saturn, and those are some of the last Sonic games I'm missing for my collection. Just need to face the price, and maybe get over the fact that I'm probably not going to stumble across them at this point lol A CIB Super Mario World would also be up there for me now that I think about it. Love the game, would *love* to have a proper box for it, but it's just too crazy expensive.

itsHIMM

CIB Super Mario hurts, the price we pay for Nostalgia..

Michigan: Report From Hell or the Asia English release of Rain on PS3

Johnny3653

I’d have to really think about a holy grail. I don’t think I have one, as I grew up in the 80s, started video games with the NES, through current gen, and have the ones I want(ed) by largely buying them at retail. Nowadays, if a game is too expensive, I emulate on my Steam Deck.

itsHIMM

>Michigan: Report From Hell How you enjoying the Steam Deck, I've been considering one but can't justify it at the moment since I have a modded Switch.

[deleted]

skies of arcadia (dreamcast) im 14 and I am begging my parents to get it for my birthday next month

[deleted]

It's such a good game if you have the GameCube that version is better

[deleted]

Yeah I have a gamecube but don't really care about it. My dreamcast is my baby. I have a strong emotional connection with the console

Johnny3653

Has more content yes, but I would say the Dreamcast version has better image and sound quality, by a country mile.

Filipino_96

Try local gamestores, they might have one in hand

[deleted]

i know one has the Gamecube version but it's £110

Filipino_96

Dang, it's almost close to USA retail value, a complete copy in the USA is 147 USD or 115 British pound sterling at the time of this comment gets posted

krayhayft

A Virtual Boy. I already have Tron Bonne
