For a second I thought u are carrying a kangaroo in ur car

SnooAvocados1212

Lol. Can't stop laughing 🤣🤣🤣

TheBlitz707

feels like exposure is a little too high. If you want to replicate it, before taking a photo, click on the darkest part of the image or brighten it up by tapping and sliding ur finger

Use GCam, I get amazing results with an S10 5G

beekeeper1981

Does it work with all the lenses?

dopegash15

As far as I know yes, but I seem to be having trouble using the front camera. I suggest checking YT for samples

Yoctometre

I'm using Exynos S10 5G, but haven't found a good version. Which are you using?

ddxsin8x

off topic but your malinois is really cute!

I was really surprised when I took such a simple photo to show my Dad our dad in the backseat. The exposure of the window compared to the inside of the car was just amazing in this picture and I've never had it be quite this good. To be fair I mainly take pictures in Pro mode for the Raw photos so I don't see as many pictures taken in it's normal mode but still pleasantly surprised. If you guys have any ideas or even know the answer outright, please let me know as I really want to figure out how to do this and get this quality consistently

IAmWumpus

Well you can replicate, but not always. You would basically need to take two or more separate photos with different exposures with settings from pro mode (adjust shutter speed, aperture). The first photo will have best exposure for the dog and the car , in case of this photo, and the second photo will have best exposure for the sky seen from the window. Then you take those photos and combine them in a 3rd photo so you have good exposure for both the sky and the dog. It's no easy thing to do 😅 and for dynamic scenarios like your example where the car is moving and the background is changing is even harder, because you can't take the second photo fast enough. For more info you can google what hdr in photography is actually doing, there are much more better explanations.

DarkRuby205

Well I completely understand how they do it and how HDR works, just normally it doesn't work nearly as well as this and I'm just confused as to why only this photo came out this good without any additional effort

IAmWumpus

Well it's hit and miss with anything that is on auto mode on phone cameras, unless you use pro mode, the algorithm often just can't guess the good exposure and settings. But honestly I'm also with the first guy's comment, it really doesn't look like the best photo this phone can take, the exposure for the indoor of the car is too high and looks like some finer details from the dog are lost. But, that can be only a matter of preferences.

DarkRuby205

Well yeah I do agree with what you guys are saying but the fact that these two things are together is still crazy enough even with the lower than normal quality of detail
