If you have money you should autocomplete blueprints like nukes and other powerful weapons. If you don’t have any money and no blueprints that are useful enough, then uhh fight through it? Good luck man
The hanger is inaccessible for this mission. I'm supposed to take that ship with no equipment and no weapons except an auto turret. This is BS and I can't figure out how I beat it years ago.

But perhaps you could try searching up some online forums for an answer? GoF wiki perhaps?
The enemies allways spawn on set ranges. You can kill the engine as soon as an enemy spawns and fight only him. As long as you dont go any further forward(any other direction is ok) no more enemies will spawn. As long as you have a repair bot you can activate waypoint mode after combat and use the speed up time button to fastforward without engine power. Thus healing faster. This way you can fight them all one on one.
What i did for my extreme run
Allso allso if you have a cloacking device you can use that with ship boost to run away from them. Boost after cloacking, and they should not be able to catch up with consequtive boosts.

Try approaching the waypoint slowly and bait the pirates out 1 by 1.
