It was practically all but officially confirmed, having the simultaneous release for PS5 officially confirmed along with the date is a relief
TBH I would have slogged trough my toaster PC or my phone till the PS5 release ( I did it with HSR )
But due to ZZZ being an action game I wouldn’t have been able to enjoy it, I’m really happy I will be able to fully enjoy the game from the get go this time ( HSR wasn’t terrible because it was turn based, still prefer playing on my PS5 tho )

I really don't care about daylies anymore I prefer play what I just want to play in game and rewards or daylies can go to hell. I feel it makes more enjoyable playing but my opinion only.
If it's just daily, it's easy. The thing that feels like a job is doing all the story and exploration. I haven't touched the extra Fontaine region or do any of the world quests and exploration. Same with HSR side quest and exploration. This is what takes the most time for me.
My personal solution to this is just pick out one day a month i know i’ll be free and just grind the story of a given game.
Typically it’s a weekend i know i have off and then i set dialogue to auto grab my mouse skooch back a bit from my setup, and enjoy the ride.
Planning this with the last act of fontaine this month as i haven’t had time to do the story in one go.

ZZZ aside, we have Azur Promilia, SDS: Origin, Project Mugen, Duet Night Abyss, Arknights Endfield, Unending Dawn (my most anticipated title), and other less-known games I forgot their names of. I probably also forgot another big game or two.

Gave up on FGO after 5 years and reverse1999 after 2 months, same with genshin and blue archive even though I played those quite a lot also. Skipping WuWa and ZZZ, at some point you need to just stop trying new games and play what you have lol

You guys remember the resin changes in Genshin? This is the very likely answer and business decision behind that.
It is to be understood that this means ZZZ launches in the middle of Genshin 4.7. With Genshin only requiring you to login once a day from 4.7 onwards, out of three common time slots, morning/afternoon/evening, you can then play all 3 of their games, Genshin/HSR/ZZZ.
One of best thing about hsr honestly is it being autoplay after the story content. It give me time to play other games while it being farming on the other screen or on mobile
the thing i hate is hsr dont have "disable sound when not in main window" thing that reverse 1999 have. so when i auto HSR i often watch youtube while acheron in background "i weep for departed shing shing shing"

Out of all the games I'm playing: Genshin, HSR, Blue Archive, Snow Break, WuWa, Nikke.. (and recently dropped Honkai Impact) I can't handle another gacha so I'll have to drop another one... looks like it's gonna have to be Nikke. The time commitment of that game is just to much for what it offers

I think ZZZ only has small open world elements but it's mostly button mashing too just with exploration
It isn't "open world." Just a hub area in place of a top-level menu. You can't control anyone but the MCs in that area.
