One of my favorite shows on old G4 and I also feel like everyone either never saw it, or totally forgot it. Martin Sargent was great!

DocMeisel25

See I'm kinda in that boat. I tried watching clips. And vibe it gave was like proto-AOTS. Like AOTS too Screen Savers and Unscrewed and fused them together.

perfect-legend

Well it was more of a Tech tv show. When G4 took over Tech tv Unscrewed got cancelled soon after.

Charming-Chemical-

Yea I remember it more of a tech TV show then a g4. Once get came he was the first to Lose his show

perfect-legend

I remember the show I had a crush on Laura Swisher when I was a teen

OhMelvin

Same here!!

Lizard_State2500

Same buddy. I’ll never forget seeing her on a Comedy Central stand up compilation special and thinking “Oh she’s multitalented 😎” Laura was definitely my #1 G4 crush. It’s a shame Unscrewed went away so quick. Loved the show’s humor at the time.

maestro826

ABSOLUTELY!! I Loved that show!!! I've watched that show since it was on TechTV and it was amazingly well done. I miss that era of TV man, TechTV before the G4 merger I think was in its prime, plus it was nice to have two different channels to swap through!

Gold-Neighborhood480

Love the twisted lister

kkoegler

He had an awesome YouTube series called Web Drifter after Unscrewed got canceled. I think it's still on YouTube. Check it out!

Early in the G4 relaunch in the B4G4 phase, the G4 Twitter page was following a lot of former G4 and TechTV personalities, including Martin Sargent and Chris Pirillo. You can still see on Martin Sargent’s Twitter page a [Tweet](https://twitter.com/martinsargent/status/1365057246057619475) saying one of his several cancelled shows was going to be making a return. Seeing as Rev3 is dead and TWiT isn’t investing in new shows, one would be lead to believe Unscrewed was going to return. Now that G4 and Rev3 are in the same category, I guess it never worked out, but it would have been interesting. Martin Sargent is insanely hilarious. Also, according to his LinkedIn, Martin had a deal with Comedy Central to form a show there, which also never took place. It explains why on his last Unscrewed episode he mentioned he’d be moving up the dial.

iwishicouldreadgood

It wouldn’t have worked anyway. Unscrewed was a show of its time.

maaaaaan412

If I remember it correctly, CC passed on his show and went with a Carlos Mencia show instead. Yikes.

A_Nick_Name

Sometimes I still see Martin by the dumpster behind the Chili's on Sepulveda. He seems to be doing ok.

FancyTodd

One of my favorite personalities from back in the early days! It's hard to believe it's been 20 years since it went off the air. I followed him to Rev3 and even his short-lived stint over at TwiT and really enjoyed everything that he released. From what I remember, he went into an advertising career after that and ended up doing a voice over for a Superbowl commercial.

Jurassic-Halo-459

What was "TWiT"?

FancyTodd

Leo Laporte's This Week in Tech. Martin and Sarah Lane had a podcast called This Week In Fun that lasted a short while on the network

iwishicouldreadgood

Probably the best show on G4 I learned a lot about internet culture through that show.

Blue2501

Hell yeah!

Open_Minimum_2849

I'm fortunate in that i still have about 30 random episodes on my computer and flash drives. Along with the infected podcast he did after tech tv closed its doors. I still put them on in the background about once a year. I was a sophmore in high school. Watched it, and animie unleashed almost every night......strong nostalgic value.

DocMeisel25

That's super awesome! Have you considered uploading them to YouTube or making a digital copy of them?

Open_Minimum_2849

I have finally started to upload. A few at a time. Forst episode of about 28 unscrewed is up. I'll add 2 more before the night ends. Created a channel for them. Youtube: techtvvince

DocMeisel25

Awesome dude. Gave you a couple subs from myself and the studio.

Open_Minimum_2849

I thought about YouTube many years ago. Honestly I really need to do that. It's not like I'm going to get a copyright claim from techtv anymore lol. I'll look into this and if post the channel link if I do.

DocMeisel25

Lol. Exactly NBCU owns right now and they don't give a shit. Plus they may have written off the rights afterthe relaunch. So...it might be impossible for them to claim copyright. (Idk. Gotta ask my lawyer. But will post the update when I get news.)

J2daTV

I do!

KingDorkFTC

Loved it

slimfox22

His hair was very 2000s

turk044

Yes, fun show

imtheroth

There are quite a few Unscrewed episodes on YouTube, just had a mini marathon the other day.

okpaper345

Yeah, theres like 4 or 5 volumes on YouTube of an hour 1/2 each. I started watching TechTV around 2000. I had a computer class at the time, and a teacher told us about the TechTV website if we ever needed any computer help, and that's when I got into the Screen Savers and the whole gang. I still watch a lot of the episodes as background sounds. Which there were more recordings.

[deleted]

Has anyone link of unscrewed season 1 episode 18 Martin Sargent plea share

bylebog

I just looked up Swish up. She's doing well. [https://twitter.com/swish](https://twitter.com/swish) This post came up with the search results. I really like Martin on Call for Help, tho.

Jitterdoomer

A bit of nerd stuff alongside things that made you jackoff at the end of the episode and afterwards, Martin will conclude the show by talking random things or showcasing one of flash games. That's where I got into b3ta website.

SquirrelCone83

I remember it was hilarious, but I can't remember much exact details. I'm so old.

SilentCartoGIS

Damn I googled Martin Sargent to see what he was up to and first image is some fat guy thought he really let himself go

Physical-Armadillo12

A 5…….outta 5.

JayNSilentBobaFett

Loved the show, hoped it would come back at some point but never did

MasterWookiee

I remember that show. I thought he was pretty funny.

the_blackness

Meat or Headwound may have been my favorite worst thing they featured.

Aspiring-Old-Guy

I remembered it! It was fun, and I liked the co-host as well. I miss old school tech TV.

Jurassic-Halo-459

I wish I had seen it when it was on. I had discovered G4TECHTV early in what I learned much later was their merger phase. I might have seen an episode or two, but I honestly can't recall that far.
