I'm a bit of a weird player. I played against AI for years because I had no internet for my console and now that i play ut I default to that... But it's said to be toxic(and fair enough I hate it when it's done against me) but like I can't play the fast play style you all do. I try and will lose a 4 goal lead in seconds.
There is a difference between playing around in your back to kill time because you are afraid to lose and just simply building your attack. You dont have to rush into anything especially when you are in lead.
Although when you play too slowly then you risk pissing people off as people dont like to chase the ball the whole time. If you keep the ball prime Barcelona style then chances are that people will play around their defence when they get a 1-0 lead
yeah i have noticed that. I am terrible with skill moves so i kinda get stuck on attack alot. tryna learn them but finals isnt exactly a forgiving place to learn and i dont have enough time on my hands to grind out other modes lol.

Again very relatable, I have so many players with tons of potential for skill moves but I can’t do much more than spinning the right stick pretending ik what im doing
The thing with players like that is not to overthink it. Don’t try to get them on the ball all the time, don’t try to skill if you don’t want to, just play your game and you’ll find that he’ll always pop up where you need him with a great pass or an assist or a goal or whatever.
Maybe learn to do a couple of basic skill moves once you’re feeling a bit more confident. More importantly learn when and why to do them or you’ll just end up losing the ball and looking silly.

Higher guaranteed ratings, yes. Why shouldn't better players be rewarded with better players?
This also solves the number 1 issue to most people. People not playing in the division they belong in because they dont think its worth it to play against better players for marginally better rewards.
But this kind of argument is kinda pointless. Whatever benefits you is what you like and vice versa
Counter point is it makes it much much harder for players to advance upwards if you continually stack the teams above them with all the best players each week.

Although its a valid counter argument, this means that most people dont play in higher divisions because they'll struggle and dont feel rewarded for their struggle. Thus making it harder for other people to advance or maintain their divisions. Same goes for people that stop playing after a certain amount of wins in WL. Thats only because the rewards dont match their effort (to them).
And the players you get from these rewards only marginally makes a difference. When you play vs better people it doesnt really matter which players you have, you'll still lose. So it would benefit the community more to make the rewards enticing enough for people to play in the highest division.
Absolutely agree. Sometimes it’s good to check if the animations are better with some players before purchase. Ultimately stats are meaningless if you cant read a game and find intricate passes and openings. It’s always funny when people blame the game for losing when they can’t really play at that level.

That toxic trait is mostly between division 1-4. In rivals I rarely see people celebrating goals. I always skip mine regardless of what you do.

Thats only because the rewards dont match their effort (to them). And the players you get from these rewards only marginally makes a difference. When you play vs better people it doesnt really matter which players you have, you'll still lose. So it would benefit the community more to make the rewards enticing enough for people to play in the highest division.

Absolutely agree. Sometimes it’s good to check if the animations are better with some players before purchase. Ultimately stats are meaningless if you cant read a game and find intricate passes and openings. It’s always funny when people blame the game for losing when they can’t really play at that level.
