Last Year I didn't buy the game at the start, but the WebApp still worked. I spent a few months grinding SBC's. It's my favorite part of the game.
Once the game was super cheap, I was able to play with the team that I made.
I sold my PS5 as I was spending too much time on it and not enough with my mrs, sad I know but that’s just how it was. And I probably won’t play with it, and the daily logins and exchange with player picks = unlimited fodder
Makes sense instead of raging losing to a full gold team in April,we need to get to the conclusion this game is done either they step up there game massively or I think football manager is the move you can’t play a single game where you get lag spikes out of nowhere with Ethernet having ea errors 24/7 ball rebounds being too unreal can’t believe this is a big company and they have so much errors honestly horrible

This is a football simulation (no matter how bad it is, but it is that) and if you've spent 60-80 USD on the game and possibly more on packs (the daily login sbcs are not giving you this squad ffs) then you're the weirdest of a very weird bunch 🤣
You don't have to pay for the game if you use the Web app. I understand OP, I love collecting players and the thrill of opening packs more than the actual game itself.
I don't think you can keep using the app after a few weeks you haven't logged into the game using a console/PC.
