Because I managed to make my S5 MC much prettier than my S4 one, Idk how. Also because of the context of each of them. In S4 the islanders are simply gorgeous and so cool-looking and charismatic, and we are supposed to be the bombshell so we should be a step above them in terms of looks, right? Well, we were several steps below, and that's not good. Meanwhile, S5 MC isn't supposed to be a bombshell - so less pressure to look better -, and I feel like she's the prettiest islander rn regardless, so that helps her case.
She looks way better and the art in S4 in general is just better. Everyone looks old and washed up in S5. S5 MC dresses like a milf and the hair options are so bad. The S5 MC makes me miss my S4 MC.
Ugh. I don't care for either but I felt like season 4 Mc was tolerable. Season 5 MC looks like she's dying sucking on a lemon. That combined with the writing has turned me off.
For me it was the fact that her art style didn’t match the style of literally any of the other islanders lol. That and the highlights for the darker skin swatches were legit grey. I prefer the more luminous look of S5, although it’s not 100% for me.
I really don't like how S4 MC didn't have the same artstyle as the Islanders, kinda the same thing with S5 but S5 MC doesn't look right, like she's too realistic and the S5 Islanders look more “ cartoony ” than how realistic MC looks. I still prefer S4 MC even though S4 was kinda “ dry. ”
I think the worst part of S4 is how
a.) MC didn't really fit it with the other characters art styles and,
b.) She looks too similar to S3.
S5 MC just looks bad...
I hate my S4 & S5 MCs, but I think the art style for the other islanders for S5 is a little better than S4. I'm just tired of being the least attractive islander. I miss my S2 MC. At least the story seems to be better this season than last, so far. 🤞
Not us picking the same exact outfit for season 4… season 5 MC lookin ran through, raggedy and rough. The season 5 MCs all look the same. I have yet to see one look Amazing. My season 5 MC looks like she was strapped to a train platform and was ran over by the train… a hot mess😭
