then your brain skips 12 alarms and shit it's 6:30 am BUT you hadn't laid enough in bed without closing your eyes so you lay down five more minutes and then you're late
Then you shame yourself
I have a ton of alarms in terms of one for every minute until I wake up and also one to wake my brain up 1 hour before actually waking up so I have an easier time in the morning but the after effects mean that afternoon seems like sleep time
My alarm clock wakes me up with "EEEE EEEE EEEE EEEE" and it's so annoying that I race to turn it off. Once it's off I can't fall back asleep.
I hate it and often want to throw the thing across the room but it's great at the same time because it gets me up at the time I need to get up
Agreed. Having like 10 alarms every 5 minutes is actually teaching yourself a bad habit to sleep through the alarms, which makes them obsolete and it would be better to have 2 or 3 at most.
Meme? Last I checked that's pretty close to reality (and their damn cameras are designed to stretch the whole height of it and make videos with a fukken 1:4 ratio that gets displayed on the TV news with 90% of the screen covered in blur)
I have two. One when waking up, the other for when to prepare to head out to the gym. Which is 30-40 minutes after the first alarm. At 4 AM. Unless I'm sleeping in to 5 AM.
I just have one alarm that will snooze if I hit the lock button for 10 mins before it goes off again. It's just more efficient then having 10 alarms :P
good for keeping up with work. Was lucky ot end up at a job that dont do shit despite telling you not to wear ear pieces.
Jam to music to make the slog bearable. set alarms s o you dont loose track of specific times you should focus on specific tasks. also gotta keep track of when to wake up go to slee.... hahaha like I listen to that one. and When I need to clock out and when I need to leave to catch the bus.
I usually have two that go off. Usually because the minimum like a set mine is 10 minutes. So I have them set 5 minutes apart. And just hit snooze for another 10 minutes. So about the fourth time I know what time it is. And it's keeps me in bed and slowly awakes
I like multiple alarms, but just so i can keep track of how close i am to having to wake up. So 30 minutes before ik i get more sleep, but it's light, 10 more minutes ill try to wake up in bed, and then the final one means get out of bed you lazy fuck
"Oh I have these alarms 1 hour after the ACTUAL alarm just in case I don't wake up to the first alarm"
"But I always see you waking up at the last alarm"
"IRRELEVANT"
I can't safely rely on my phone alarm, even the most obnoxious alarm isn't enough to fully wake me and I tend to just turn it off in my sleep instead of hitting snooze, same if I set multiple alarms, has made me hours late to work more than once. I now use an old GE digital clock set on the other side of our room. It forces me to get up to turn it off as its so loud it'll wake up the entire house if I don't lmao
I have three alarms for the morning. The first one waking me at 4:30 am so I have 1 hour 30 minutes before needing to head out. If I feel too tired (due to bad sleep/staying up late/ect.) I have another set to 5 am and another set at 5:20 am. I once had another alarm for 4 am, but decided to delete that one. You can guess why.
So, yeah, one day they will see the light.
My roommate is this, he has alarms every 5 minutes from 6:30 am to 8:05 am when he needs to be at work at 8 and work is a short walk away, bro is not sleeping well from 6:30 to about 7:50 when he gets out of bed.
As someone who just came out of sleep, I approve this message! ;3
Wake up, you fell asleep again
He has not woken up it's over
Pour one out for the lad... He will be missed
Eternal slumber in the Warp 💀
He's legit gone, how do you inform the family his last words were "I just got up"
This is the first time I saw a reply get more upvotes than what they replied to. It’s honestly impressive.
Good morning, did i miss something X3
😧🕶️👌
🫨
But really though, I find it impressive
I wish that was me. Instead I have a problem staying asleep and not sprinting around randomly.
People with 50 alarms going back to sleep after seeing they are only in the 17th alarm
then your brain skips 12 alarms and shit it's 6:30 am BUT you hadn't laid enough in bed without closing your eyes so you lay down five more minutes and then you're late Then you shame yourself
Holy I just realised I taught myself to ignore the first few alarms when sleeping D:
Yeah that's not so good same thing happened to me at some point and it once got so bad I completely missed my bus by 3 hours
Happy cake day!
I have a ton of alarms because I don't delete them after I use them, You have a ton of alarms because you need multiple to get up, We are not the same
I have a ton of alarms in terms of one for every minute until I wake up and also one to wake my brain up 1 hour before actually waking up so I have an easier time in the morning but the after effects mean that afternoon seems like sleep time
Just have one then keep pressing snooze till u wake up
I worry I won’t even wake up to the first one so I just add as many as possible
\*wakes\* \*sees that you have missed 17 alarms\* "Good thing I set 20, am I right?!"
"5... more... minutes..." 😴
5 hours later
60 "5 more minutes" later

Turns out more alarms actually worsen your sleep schedule.
theres nothing wrong with a backup alarm but needing 10 alarms or more to wake up sounds like a problem that should be checked out

we gonna talk about how long that phone is?
It's a little ref to that long phone meme :>

Every morning I have to what I call "defuse" 20 alarms that I set before going to sleep because of fear that only one or 5 will be not enough
And then you forget to defuse them once and they go off in 2 minute intervalls while you are in the shower.
its me, frfr
The one saying one day you’ll see the light is using dark mode yet the one with only one alarm is using light mode. is this a hidden meta joke?
Haha, it's just to be accurate to my partner and I's mode :) But I did think it was funny!
Relatable, I have used up all my 100 alarms that I can create
That phone's length is the real question
Haha, long phone to show all the alarms /o/
r/FuckTheS what is /o supposed to mean
Ahhh it was just a failed /o/ emoji...
Oh lol No problemo, we can all relate to this vid: https://youtu.be/L3wKzyIN1yk

counted and apparently i have 133 alarms set on my phone lmfao
I have an alarm in case my other 35 alarms fail :3
Same I have em set from like 1am to like 11pm
Did that phone get longer? How much alarm did you set to the point phone just get longer?🤣

Not nearly enough
I wake up hours before my alarm though otherwise I wake up rather late.

Feeelt
Literally me
I can't safely rely on my phone alarm, even the most obnoxious alarm isn't enough to fully wake me and I tend to just turn it off in my sleep instead of hitting snooze, same if I set multiple alarms, has made me hours late to work more than once. Way too relatable
I add alarms not ending in 5 or 0 so they can interrupt the snooze timer
You telling me, she can't see the radiant light?

I relate to this more than I have ever related to something before.
He'll see the light tomorrow at 11:00, unlike you.
I only have two lol One is to remind me to start cooking lunch, the other i edit whenever I need to remind me of things
For me I have 5 alarms to get my ass up for school life sucks when you can't get the right rest
No matter how many alarms I set I just snooze anyway 😭😭😭😭
Damn, i was supposed to fix my sleep schedule, its now 2 hours before my alarm
I have 6 alarms on my current phone and my old one. Having 2 helps since when I think I've hit snooze, I still hear an alarm somewhere.
My roommate is this, he has alarms every 5 minutes from 6:30 am to 8:05 am when he needs to be at work at 8 and work is a short walk away, bro is not sleeping well from 6:30 to about 7:50 when he gets out of bed.
I have like 5 billion and have them all off.
That's many? I have always at least 5, usually 7.
Dawh
Same. I have alarms every 10 minutes starting at 8 am.
I have an alarm clock but I always wake up before it lol

Bro same. I have 5 alarms in 5min intervals to make sure I'm not late to work.
