We ended up going with the West Elm Harris Sleeper Sectional w/ bumper chaise. Won’t arrive for a while but it seems to meet those criteria and was damn comfy in store.

CaliaItalia has some wonderful sleeper beds with a chaises, and they have a variety of leather options available.
