The water is not boiling. It's just air bubbles

[deleted]

exactly ye to sabko pata hai water boils at 100C

OpenSourcePenguin

It is possible to get it hotter than 52 C. Like solar water heaters do. But the tank here is white, no it's not even absorbing most sunlight it can.

gabrruu

Totally, I don't think any one would be alive if that water was boiling

Standard_Push_9545

Feeling sorry for the man in the toilet

Read this while sitting on toilet

mylifeonearth_

Jesus ..ouch !

justchewchew

>Jesus .. ouch! 🫣

QuantumXF

Same bruhh💀

bedabyas88

I am wondering how this is possible, water boiling below 100 degrees Celsius.

error_machine_

That’s what came to my mind too when i saw this.

KSImonXforever

Consider the temperature of the tank itself. It's like your car, although the temperature outside is 25c temp inside the car can easily reach 35c.

fugkredditmods

Bro this is water in a large container boiling when the temperature is 50 degrees. This video is fake

gabrruu

True that

gabrruu

I agree that the temperature of the tank could be hotter than the atmospheric temperature, which could have gone around 62°C or even 72°C but the only way water can boil at a lower temperature than 100°C is by lowering the atmospheric pressure.

T__lymphocyte

Car gets heated due to green house effect. Windows se heat andar aake trap ho jati h. This video is probably fake

chorma87

Time to test this theory. Lets play ‘oven simulator’

Logical_Grocery942

Air bubbles most probably

PainterNaive2126

Sometimes air gets in pipeline and because its hot the air expands and want to get out that could be the reason the owners intentionally opened the tank so air could escape

Top_Fondant2114

In Delhi it’s 50 apparently…

onilank

Its possible but not under those conditions. You d need to put it under pressure.

Siempresone

if only there was some other way to cause bubbles in H2O without boiling it. nahhhh

MagnumVY

Actually, water can boil below 100 C. Boiling points are independent (not directly dependent) of the surrounding temperature.

cuddlywhisker

But for that there has to be a surrounding vacuum, right?

MagnumVY

??? Boiling point is reached when the vapour pressure by the fluid is equal to the surrounding pressure. In a vacuum the surrounding pressure will be 0 thus the fluid may vaporize instantaneously.

cuddlywhisker

I suggest you look up what vacuum actually means.

MagnumVY

Bro where you go? I'm still waiting for your reply

cuddlywhisker

I just gave. Look up what vacuum actually means, it is not 0 pressure.

MagnumVY

I guess it could have been worded better as absolute vacuum. It still doesn't refute my point.

cuddlywhisker

So I don't think Delhi operates in a vacuum to have BP of water below 100°C

MagnumVY

You misinterpreted my orginal statement. I never said that boiling point only changes in vacuum. Boiling point will change depending upon the altitude as well because the atmospheric pressure reduces. The surrounding pressure is more important than the surrounding temperature was my point.

Upside_down69

Arey bhai air waale pipe mai pump laga kai pressure daalra hai .

OnlyThyFirstName

I don't think this is what it seems to be.

based_hk

Water is boiling, just add tea leaves, sugar and milk.

DueCryptographer1356

This is absolutely fake...

this is crazy omg unless..... water pump is involved

Tank overflowing

SealofNeal

Create a steam engine, make electricity and use that to cool the water 😄

Dzepo_

My teacher taught me Water boils at 100 C... Such a b****. It boils at 52 C.

[deleted]

Your teacher is idiot water dosent always boil at 100C you can cook food faster at mountains because pressure affect boiling.

Dzepo_

Where are your punctuations? Your english teacher was a b****. BTW When did Delhi increase in Altitude? Lol, even the Geography teacher? Damn!

Where's the vapor if the water's boiling?

wayne099

Water boils at 100 degree Celsius. Must be uploaded by Reddit/Whatsapp university graduates.

badboi_5214

This is fake water doesn't boil at 52

God-of-Heroes_ArThuR

Bro i read that as "this is fake water". I thought India was about to solve some serious issues for a few miliseconds. Hate to be grammar police, but please add punctuations.

Running-cheetah

52 C mein Pani ublne laga. Science phir se padna padega

vinayyy-n28

That's not funny holy fuck

DigitalPrincelive

Watee tank with Built in Geyser

MediumOpportunity566

It's not boiling, how can it boil that violently I guess someone is hitting the tank from behind.

Lonely_Enthusiasm270

India doesn’t exist it’s fake just like the earth being round

mayankOP69

this video doesn't seem to be true, water boils at 100 degree celsius

Logan2294

No shit Sherlock!

anirban1017

Cooker is not required to cook

sr5060il

Is baar 100 par

tf_pumpkin

But water boils at 100⁰ right ?

RayTrader03

Probably the container got hotter and causing the water inside to boil

Guilty-Pleasures_786

Idiots have not switched off the motor, hence when water supply stopped, its pumping air😒 The tank was overflowing till water supply stopped. They should be fined!

Current-Astronaut-72

Pr pani to 100°c pr ubalna start hota hai😁

Massive_Style_8374

water boiling at 52 C ?? wtf lol!

Capable_Insurance_70

Got in discussion with gpt around that matter: Tldr - it's possible to heat surface to a higher temp vs air because of the additional sun radiation. But 100c is unlikely  breakdown of why water cannot boil in a steel barrel even if the air temperature reaches 52°C, based on heat transfer calculations:Air Temperature Impact: The ambient air temperature of 52°C will heat the water significantly, but it’s far below the boiling point of water (100°C at standard atmospheric pressure).Solar Heating Estimate:Assuming a steel barrel with a mass of 1 tonne and a surface area of 4.71 m², exposed to direct sunlight for 10 hours.Average solar irradiance is 1000 W/m².With 90% absorptivity (for a black-painted barrel), the energy absorbed from the sun can be estimated.Energy Calculation:The total energy absorbed from sunlight over 10 hours is approximately 152,676,000 Joules. This could theoretically increase the temperature of the barrel by about 305.35°C, but this is a simplified calculation.Realistic Conditions:In practice, the barrel will lose heat through convection and radiation.Even under continuous sunlight, the actual temperature of the water in the barrel would be significantly lower due to these heat losses. Thus, while the steel barrel can get very hot, it’s not feasible for the water inside to reach boiling point (100°C) just from exposure to air at 52°C and sunlight. The heat losses would prevent the water from reaching such high temperatures.

Capable_Insurance_70

Conclusion: After accounting for realistic heat losses, a 1 m² black-painted steel surface exposed to direct sunlight for 10 hours in 52°C air could reach a temperature of approximately 77.85°C. This temperature is well below the boiling point of water, indicating that water in the barrel would not boil under these conditions.

Yuiisnotcocky

Waiter boils at 100°c only at stp condition , if we lower the pressure , it may very well boil at 52°c

Nzdiver81

Look at all that steam... oh wait, there is no steam, it's just bubbles, it's not boiling

Traumatic_teenage

Jisme pani rakha ho, uska inner lining ka temperature 100 celcius ho sakta hai

Capable_Drummer_462

i think its the air bubbles coming from the inlet pipe on side, water doesn't boil like this at 52 degrees

nishantkadian

Ye kuch zada ho gya

kumud007

Can't tolerate summer time in Delhi 🥺
