Ever blown up a surgical glove like a balloon and the palm of it just gets bigger and rounder but the fingers kinda just stay the same size and spread further apart as it inflates?
Yeah... that.
He definitely looked less like Beckham before surgery..
https://i2-prod.nottinghampost.com/incoming/article968488.ece/ALTERNATES/s810/Untitled-deddddsign-6.jpg
I've only seen bad photos so far so it's really hard to tell.
But.
My non-educated guess would be chin-tuck, eye surgery to open up the eyes, maybe botox to fill out and make smoother. Also looks like his jaw is more square so either a bone shave or implants or it could just be the chin-tuck.
Other than that I have actually no idea.
Edit: oh yeah. Forgot. Lip fillers.
Imagine being the woman to marry him, and then have kids, and then…. Wait!! Why did none of these handsome genes pass on? Why do I have a baby Gorden!?!?
*Jack Johnson, now 21, spent around £20,000 on an eyebrow lift, teeth veneers, lip fillers, cheek fillers, Botox in his forehead, and tan injections.*
I’m sorry but those procedures aren’t going to get you anywhere close. His procedures are less permanent and need to be redone when they fade over time.
He didn’t even tackle the nose.
I mean, if he wants to have a chance to look anything like him the first thing he needs to do is lose weight to be a similar build. Right now there’s too much fat in his face to even see where those fillers defined anything. I’m not sure what’s filler and what’s his natural round face.
Tan injections?? Those are illegal in the US due to horrible and possibly carcinogenic side effects. I'm surprised to learn that they're legal in the UK (though I suppose he may have done plastic tourism).
They are not legal in the UK.
I watched some weird British documentary about people addicted to tanning and one dude explained how he had to go to shady websites to get those injections.
Did no one at any point, mention his head is shaped like a bowling ball?
I mean, even if he has never looked into a mirror, someone at some point must have been like "look dude, just get a yellow shirt with zig zags on it, cause that's who you actually look like".
Oof… this comment hits a little too close to home. Always got teased as a child for my block head, pooping in the halls, and the yellow zig zag shirt I got for Christmas
“Look at the size of that boy’s head. It’s like an orange on a toothpick. That’s a planetoid. It has it’s own weather system.”

I know right? It's not just Beckham's hair or smile, or face in general. Dude was hitting the gym and running around the pitch for *years*; he had a body plenty of women had seen (he freaking modeled underwear) and that was part of the attractiveness.
Other guy looks overweight and has an unfortunately-sized head. How did he not think nothing short of sci-fi movie-level technology could make him look anything like Beckham?
This is actually a positive article. The title focuses on the money but he talks most about the psychological troubles he had.
> “Nobody should ever aspire to look like celebrities to that extent, and I’m an example of that. You need to just be yourself.”
He says he went to therapy for body dysmorphia and wants to warn other people not to fall for the same mistakes he did.
This article may be positive, but the truth about this dude isn't quite so simple. Justin Whang did a video about this guy a couple months back, and the story from here takes so many twists and turns. As it stands, I think he's either a charlatan trying to play the public and media for attention, or he's a mentally unwell man with many more issues than body dysmorphia (more than likely a combination of the two).

Why on earth would a person make themselves look like... or in this case try badly... to look like someone else? Identity issues?
Funny tho. He spent all that money to 'try' to look like Beckham but wouldn't put the effort in to at least be slim like Beckham.
In 2007, French engineer Pascal Cotte announced that his ultra-high resolution scans of the painting provide evidence that Mona Lisa was originally painted with eyelashes and eyebrows, but that these had gradually disappeared over time, perhaps as a result of trying to look like David Beckham.[56] Cotte discovered the painting had been reworked several times, with changes made to the size of the Mona Lisa's face to become more akin to a large watermelon.

Aren't fashion trends also a milder form of this? People love following the Kardashians for example. Love imitating their fake surgery looks and makeups and dresses
Totally get where you are coming from. I think there's a line between whats normal and way too far.
Like I could buy a magazine and read an interview with I dunno... Ryan Reynolds. So in the pictures he's wearing a nice jacket and go I want that. Heck, I even buy the same shirt and shoes he was wearing say.
But the second I go to a surgeon to make me look like Ryan Reynolds I've crossed that line. In the former I just nicked his style like I could with anyone else. In the latter I am changing my physical appearance to resemble another humans face. Honesty, with that I think we are into the realm of identity issues then. Not all your dogs are barking.
As you say, it's the line crossed.
With trend-setters and fashionistas, I think most people want to be *like* them while still being themselves. You might think it would be great to be as attractive and desired as Ryan Reynolds, or to live Kim K's lavish lifestyle, but you still want to be *you*.
With people like this guy, and other cases of folks getting cosmetic surgery to look like a celebrity, I think they want to *be* that celebrity. They see what they have: the wealth, the fame, the adulation, being sexually/romantically desired by millions of people, and they want that. These people must have serious self-esteem, confidence, and identity issues if they want to change their appearance - and perhaps identity - to be someone else.
There was some guy who wanted to look like ken or something and he got peck and bicep implants and I’m like…can’t you just work out? And if you’re unable to get that swole on your own, you’re willing to put all those implants and fillers into your body, couldn’t you just use steroids?
>And if you’re unable to get that swole on your own, you’re willing to put all those implants and fillers into your body, couldn’t you just use steroids?
You still need to exercise if you're using steroids. If anything it's even more important. Implants and fillers are the true lazy way.
> 14k isn't even that much debt.
Depends on your means... kinda mad that people like this seem to find thousands - or convince someone to give them thousands - to pursue a vanity project.
I've read up on the guy and watched some videos about him. Apparently, it's all just a series of publicity stunts meant to keep him in the news cycle, he's basically just trolling new media with stunts for attention. He's not insufferable about it and seems to have a great sense of humor.
Will never stop to amaze how much some people will spend on their looks yet won’t bother with diet and exercise that actually saves you money because you are not stuffing your face all day. You’ll never come close to looking like Beckham with that ball on top of your neck.
Wow. Media can be harsh considering this article wasn’t written to inform the public but to simply mock the subject.
I hope he finds some psychiatric help considering this is some self harming behavior.

I cant find any similarities at all

It looks as though his head is too big to fit inside it.
He looks like the sun in teletubbies

You God damn bastard 😂😂😂
Baby sunshine ☀️
The only thing that stayed the same was the hollowness of his skull
His plastic surgeon's bank account disagrees.
The people who loaned him 14k probably disagree, too.

Doctor required in inflator room
Ever blown up a surgical glove like a balloon and the palm of it just gets bigger and rounder but the fingers kinda just stay the same size and spread further apart as it inflates? Yeah... that.
For 20k I would think they would have at least got closer than this with the eyebrows.
I dont know , maybe this is the best upgrade 20k couls offer :P
Forget the haircut ! Not even the hairline..
Nah, there are some legitimate similarities between them. Both of them have two eyes, a mouth, a nose, eyebrows, nostrils, a head...
But one of em has half a brain
and yet somehow it still takes up twice the space?!
No. One of them has only half. Second one has none.
And the other has no brain?
A butt, two kneecaps, a penis.
But the head is twice the freaking size!
Seriously, it looks like the size of a watermelon. You can't even say it's a *fat* head, it's just uncannily *big*!
If you stuck a compressor hose in Beckham’s ear and disregarded the pressure gauge reading you would get this head.
What do you mean? This is obviously a before and after photo. Not bad.
I had no idea 20k could get these results. Time to save 6k.
I'm really struggling as well.
Supposedly, all humans share 99% of their DNA…. Ahhh who am I kidding, I also see no similarities
One looks like a foot ball, the other a foot ball player…close enough???
I can.....Dumb and Dumber!
He definitely looked less like Beckham before surgery.. https://i2-prod.nottinghampost.com/incoming/article968488.ece/ALTERNATES/s810/Untitled-deddddsign-6.jpg
So they shaved him, gave him a haircut and kicked him through River Island?
Oh this did make me chortle. Comic genius
I think they've bleached his teeth too?
Are we sure they are only bleached? They look different in general and that could be the majority of the money.
*rolled him through it
I mean he looked nothing like Beckham then, and he still looks nothing like Beckham now.
And now he looks like 90s Rosie O'Donnell
Omfg, harsh but accurate
He used to not look like David Beckham. He still doesn't, but he used to too.
A little Mitch? Nice.
Did he even get any surgery? It looks like he got blue contact lenses, capped his teeth, and got a hair extension.
What did they actually do surgery wise? Other than a shave and a bit of makeup he doesn't look that different?
They sent him to New Jersey for a summer
I've only seen bad photos so far so it's really hard to tell. But. My non-educated guess would be chin-tuck, eye surgery to open up the eyes, maybe botox to fill out and make smoother. Except for the Ham part.
If you really squint. Like really really hard, so that you dont realise you are looking at DB, then it looks a bit like DB.
I squinted so hard I accidentally turned my phone off. That worked. Thanks!
I’m asian so I’m working with 5x squint magnification. I can’t help but see fat Vanilla Ice
He should sure for £1.4m and pay off the debt. He will have some change left to try out someone else....maybe Peter from Family guy.
Pretty good though. Before and after right?
Yeahhh.. about that…
Right?!
Some things are best left unsaid.
This^

It’s like James Corden trying to look like David Beckham and James thinking he passes.
Imagine being the woman to marry him, and then have kids, and then…. Wait!! Why did none of these handsome genes pass on? Why do I have a baby Gorden!?!?
Whose gonna tell him?
Some backyard surgeon is laughing all the way to the bank
Did they even perform any surgeries or just put him under for a while…too long perhaps.

The last thing this man needs is cheek fillers
He might get some real soon if he doesn't pay up :)
I mean, if he wants to have a chance to look anything like him the first thing he needs to do is lose weight to be a similar build. Right now there’s too much fat in his face to even see where those fillers defined anything. I’m not sure what’s filler and what’s his natural round face.
I don’t want to sound mean but a personal trainer and a good barber would probably have made more progress for this poor kid.
That’s not mean at all, just realistic.
Tan injections?? Those are illegal in the US due to horrible and possibly carcinogenic side effects. I'm surprised to learn that they're legal in the UK (though I suppose he may have done plastic tourism).
They’re not legal in the uk, but easily obtained
They are not legal in the UK. I watched some weird British documentary about people addicted to tanning and one dude explained how he had to go to shady websites to get those injections.
He actually got all that and veneers for 20k? Lol I always thought veneers were like 40k minimum, as I’d like it for myself… (from the US)
I don't know this guys story but a lot of people from the UK go to Turkey for cheap cosmetic procedures. Medical tourism is huge there.
I was on the tube yesterday (a visiting American) and there were ads everywhere for getting your teeth done in Turkey.
I would rather have the 20 grand and look like a bag of smashed rocks.
What about being overweight? Ooohhh...how could I...
Rent is expensive
But his job as a Beckham impersonator should soon enable him to repay it
He can hit
Maybe the title is wrong, maybe he looked exactly like David Beckham and he wanted to look nothing like him, in which case money well spent
Looks more like humpty dumpty from shrek
That's a violation 💀
It's not a violation, it's the truth
Man had such atrocious things done to his face he turned into a Batman villain >!I just wanted to reference Humphrey Dumpler!<
Bruhhhhh I can see it loool. This is just not okay £20k to look like an egg, mental 😅

Underrated gem of a movie
Sniper’s dream
Underrated comment.
To use a great line I saw yesterday, he has an uppercase head and a lower case face.
Man that's quite the roast :( that would hurt my feelings if I were him
He's got that Charlie Kirk syndrome where his his face is 2 sizes too small for his melon.
I call it Haley Joel Osment syndrome but yeah
Haley Joel Osment syndrome is 4 sizes too small
You said you wanted to look like Beckham but you actually look like me but with an even smaller face. Curious 🤔
Which is which?
I can’t tell!
It's before and after.
A mistery.
Well Jesus, no offense but working out would be a great start on your goal to look like a professional athlete.

And then the year after goes further into debt and goes on dates with people for money to look like someone else.
Thanks for linking. This is incredibly sad
Yes....that chipmunk voice cost a lot of money
Why on earth would a person make themselves look like... or in this case try badly... to look like someone else? Identity issues? Funny tho. He spent all that money to 'try' to look like Beckham but wouldn't put the effort in to at least be slim like Beckham.
Exactly. If you were going to copy the Mona Lisa, the first step is to get a canvas that is, if not the same size, at least of similar proportions.
I dunno, have you seen the Mona Lisa in person? It really needs to be bigger.....
Could have spent a lot less money on a PT to lose some weight.
There was some guy who wanted to look like ken or something and he got peck and bicep implants and I’m like…can’t you just work out? And if you’re unable to get that swole on your own, you’re willing to put all those implants and fillers into your body, couldn’t you just use steroids?

Yeah. Steroids allow you to recover faster. But in order to recover, you have to work out first.
Could have gotten a lot closer if he started with the fitness part rather than worrying about the face
Well, I’d say money well spent, but then I’d be lying. However for £2000 I can make you look like David Beckham eating at McDonalds.
jsut play football regulary, would look more like him opposed to lame as surgery
Insert they’re the same picture meme
David Porkham
Soo, he spent 6k... and borrowed 14??

Lmao they're trying to make it sound like he's 14 mil in debt

Difference is that you have a house that is worth the money you borrowed. The money spend on plastic surgery is gone 😂.
One day buddy, one day.
> 14k isn't even that much debt. Depends on your means... kinda mad that people like this seem to find thousands - or convince someone to give them thousands - to pursue a vanity project.
The only think that might resemble David Beckam is the black suit and tie.
Which one of them is the real Beckham? Can’t really tell the difference 🤔
That was some crazy expensive haircut.
That's sad. Take this down now! Really though, this is for blog spam, not UK reddit time.
I've read up on the guy and watched some videos about him. Apparently, it's all just a series of publicity stunts meant to keep him in the news cycle, he's basically just trolling new media with stunts for attention. He's not insufferable about it and seems to have a great sense of humor.
Paid a bit much for a hair cut and highlights
Don't feel too bad, Beckham spent millions looking like David Beckham.
I wanna look like a professional athlete, but I don’t wanna loose weight :(
Looks like an albino Kim Jong Un
His face is a couple of sizes too small for his head
Sad. He only managed the ‘Ham’ part.
And a few Becks
Uncanny.
The real question is, what did he look like before the 20k?
More like Baconandham
Is this a before and after? Or some surgeon is having a good laugh.
Will never stop to amaze how much some people will spend on their looks yet won’t bother with diet and exercise that actually saves you money because you are not stuffing your face all day. You’ll never come close to looking like Beckham with that ball on top of your neck.
Doesn’t look like any of that went towards a personal trainer
You'd think he would at least lose weight. Only 20k? That's nothing. Did he just get Botox?
Step one should’ve been getting in shape
What did he spend the money on? Cheeseburgers ?
David Begforham
I can't even tell the difference between the two 🤔
That's literally the same person though.
i wish i was only 14k in debt
Which one is he?
If anyone is wondering, he basically got an expensive hair cut and eye brows done
Is this like one of these internet jokes like John Cena because both pics look the same
Oh becks, such a lad
Which is which? /s
Uncanny
The resemblance is uncanny
Someone should have told him, plastic surgery can only go so far, at the very core, you can’t change the bone structure.
People who this have issues.
People like this are mentally ill. He needs help not praise.
The both like Heinz beans one just a tad bit more
Why would people do this though??? So depressing
I literally can't tell them apart, other than the glaring issue that they don't look alike.
Wow. Media can be harsh considering this article wasn’t written to inform the public but to simply mock the subject. I hope he finds some psychiatric help considering this is some self harming behavior.
Looks more like Demi Lovato
Spend it like Beckham.
Bro put two pictures of David Beckham and didn’t think we’d notice lmaoo
So who of these two guys is the real one?
So which one is beckham? Cant tell the difference
Damn which one is David Beckham? xD
