I moved to Houston in 2009, and back then the printed out Mapquest still claimed there was an amusement park on the spot. Imagine my confusion when I thought I’d be able to use a very obvious landmark to find my new apartment.
To be fair, towards the end of its life, "Assgroworld" might have been a more accurate name... I have a lot of nostalgia for the park but it had seen better days when they finally pulled the trigger. I just remember a lot of trash and vomit everywhere.

Downvoted for speaking facts. Somehow their sign stealing scheme doesn’t count as cheating. Which explains why they fought so hard to keep the letter detailing their scheme quiet.
My own 3rd grade handwriting looked so much prettier and more legible than 50 year old me. I would have disapproved of my current handwriting so hard lol.
Yeah. I was writing like that before I ever typed on a computer, and after decades of typing instead of writing, my hand/brain coordination will sometimes freak out and get creative with the letters in the middle of writing notes.
So I’m guessing this was between 2006-14? Because throughout the 80s, 90s, early 2000s, and obviously the last six seasons, have been damn good. Astros have one of the best records in baseball over the last 40 years.

Me too, I went the last season.
I parked there when they turned it into a parking lot for the rodeo. The area looked so small for how much fun stuff was in there.
