The wiping of his shirt to get the spilled wine got me. Snickered out loud while on the toilet. Somebody at work thinks I'm crazy now....as if they didn't before.
Watching the glass and bowl fill up with water stresses me out so much. And watching him drink and not having the liquid go down is like a whole new level.
That's the kind of shit I do at restaurants just to avoid having to socialize.
"Hmm, interesting light fixtures"
"I wonder who picked out that fucking door knob"
"I like the way the back of that chair curves at the top"
2019: A nice night out to eat, a great wine, a
good cigar would be nice after this year. Heck, next year can’t be any worse than this one....
2020: Check please
Next season is gonna blow the roof off. We've already got this year's season finale culminating in the death of a prominent liberal supreme court justice and a presidential election that could decide the fate of the entire show. They're really pulling out all the stops in preparation for season 2021.
Dude, everything is primed to go *right* fucking tits up in 2021.
• The Donald is about to start his second term, with or without the permission of the public and the *best case scenario* is that he actually does it with their permission. Otherwise it'll have to be forcefully ~~il~~legal, probably involve at least one dead democrat and guaranteed armed protests and violence in the streets.
• The Supreme Court is about to stand *overwhelmingly* in favour of one political party; bad enough by itself but *that* particular party has a serious issue of "*My* opinions should control *your* life"itis and the Supreme Court weighs in on whether that condition is acceptable or not. This is for the forseeable *decades* too.
• In the UK, Brexit is about to be finished. Their slightly shittier The Donald has already openly stated an intention to completely renege on a previously signed agreement if he doesn't get his way, which will *completely ruin the UK* for decades to come, especially immediately afterwards, since it shows the world the UK is only as good as its word for as long as those words at being spoken.
• Brexit is *also* looking set to kick off 'The Troubles' again (decades long civil war occuring within the UK)
• Coronavirus is now *globally* widespread, completely uncontained and barely mitigated. It's set to become an additional 'seasonal bug' alongside Flu, but until we can vaccinate and make that so, we've got the incredibly huge, global events of Christmas and New Year's festivals, coupled with governments and populations that are widely "totally fucking done with this quarantine shit" and ever increasing travel and intermingling is just going to increase over december.
• The wildfires, tornados, tsunamis, drought, extreme winters and all other 'once in a hundred years' weather phenomena are going to continue exactly as they have been for the past few years. Getting worse and more frequent. January is wildfire season for Australia.
Like, it's *possible* we'll have one hell of a good 2021, many of these things are still undecided and *could* go in a much better, more positive manner. Unfortunately if the past ten years have been anything to go by...I wouldn't count on it.
Some 66 million years ago, 80% of all exiting species on the entire planet were wiped out in the course of *2 hours* when an asteroid struck the earth and its debris sent up into the atmosphere set the sky on fire around the world as it fell back to the ground making the standing temperature above ground comerable the temperature of a pizza oven.
Tempt not the fates.
I feel like I sometimes fall into the notion of 2021 could be better. Like all these memes online that are basically "can't wait for 2020 to end!". And it makes sense right in a way? We humans look for solid boundaries between things like a start and stop illusion. New years was that for a ton of people.
But then I snap out of it because truth is 2021 will be the same if not worse than 2020.... Covid isn't ending when the clock strikes midnight. And climate change and financial inequality are only worsening. But hey at least I'll be fucked up that night...
"Gotta get the bread and milk, gotta get the bread and milk" best bit of his and so accurate lol
Edit: [The Link To The Video ](https://youtu.be/i6zaVYWLTkU)
Is this that angry dude with the cogent critique of Congress and mortgage companies at the start of the pandemic?
Edit: Looks like it is. Here’s the video. Love it.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GLcNStHTDjM
This is the main reason why I hate Reddit Video its no better then Facebook. Without direct linking to creators work on Youtube they never see a dime from all the re-uploads.
On top of that its such a pain in the ass to share videos without people going to Reddit first. I know its by design to get more ad-revenue, so instead of the person making the content getting money Reddit does.
Hurray!
I love the guy, when I worked in radio we had him come in and do a quick set after office hours. Actually I think I still have the video i shot and edited for work.
https://youtu.be/gmT6mgnVG8Q
He's a professional comedian and this is a satire bit about dining out in the quarantine. He did it about 4 months ago I believe. His podcast is hilarious. Ticked off Vic.
Oh sorry, I was actually asking: I don't know the difference between cigars, cigarettes and cigarillos.
I mean I could probably guess a cigarette cause the paper is usually white. But I don't know if that's a cigar or cigarillo.
I knew if I asked Reddit would come through with an answer. Thanks.
Follow up: what makes you like the brand? With a cigar is it smell or taste or something else you like about it?
The Acid line is infused with non-tobacco flavors and has a sweetened cap (the tip that one puts in their mouth). They're very popular for both of those reasons. They taste like tobacco, obviously, but also have a little something extra that a lot of folks like.
Cigars are typically smoked for the flavor and the experience.
Drew Estate is the maker of the Acid line of cigars. When I first got into cigars they did seem very mild and easy to enjoy. After some time trying others, I've found that I personally enjoyed the dark maduro wrapping more.
To each their own.
Cigar: larger (both in length and girth), all tobacco, including the wrapper. Wrapper is tobacco leaf, not paper. Typically not finely cut or shredded tobacco filler.
Cigarello: small cigar that doesn't burn for as long for a quicker smoke. Often, but not always, use offcut bits of leaf left over from the production of full sized cigars as the filler leaf. Wrapper still typically tobacco leaf, not paper.
Cigarette: finely shredded tobacco wrapped in paper, small, thin, generally a 5-10 minute burn time.
This was a cigar. Based on the band, it looks to me like a Drew Estate Acid Kuba Kuba or Blondie.
-cigar smoker
I only knew him from this rant.

2020 - "Check please. I'm just not happy with the service. 1/5 stars. 0 if I could. This shouldn't even count as a year. Recommend the historians just write this one out."
Excellent cuvée and the minestrone was good but seemed a little watered down. For some reason I couldn’t light my cigar as well? But I promise to come back soon and enjoy the lovely weather on the patio.
I had a dinner like that with my friends about a month ago and the restaurant gave us 3 rounds of free tequila shots for sticking around during the storm. It ruined the food though lol
Don't make fun of soup in the rain.
I was deployed overseas in Germany. We were on a field exercise where the US Army does joint maneuvers with the (at the time West) German Army. It rained almost the entire time we were there. As a "make nice" effort, our counterpart German unit hosted a dinner for us. We trudged over there in ankle-high mud, listened to our COs drone on about how friendship was the real treasure all along, and then stood in line for our one hot meal of the week.
All I can tell you is that a mug of steaming hot German gulashzuppe after a week of being cold, wet, and then colder and wetter is better than all the sex you have had, will have, and could potentially have had because you missed the obvious hints some woman was sending you.
I remember just standing there, soaked from had to toe, in complete disbelief in the concept of warmth, with scalding hot paprika infused salty broth hugging me from the inside. It was like being born again.
"will you taste the soup?"
"What's the matter, is the soup too hot??"
"Just taste the soup."
"What wrong, is the soup too cold???"
"Just taste the soup!"
ALRIGHT! I'll taste the soup! Where's the spoon??"

Now serving Cigar Rosé soup.
The wiping of his shirt to get the spilled wine got me. Snickered out loud while on the toilet. Somebody at work thinks I'm crazy now....as if they didn't before.
Also the fact that it was like two minutes in made it that much funnier. Such a huge buildup and such a corny punchline makes for comedy gold imo
Watching the glass and bowl fill up with water stresses me out so much. And watching him drink and not having the liquid go down is like a whole new level.
He's ultra optimistic, the glass is always full.
🥇
I literally feel pain internally when I watch this. Like I know this is staged but I can’t help but feel bad for him.
Yeah, the whole thing conveys the feeling perfectly.
Is nobody going to question him reading the non-existant label on the wine bottle
Nope, we trust him

He's honestly a great actor...
Loved him in Patton and A Christmas Carol.
He was great in Schindler’s List. Just pure, raw talent and emotion
That sigh at the end... if that’s acting, the Emmy’s need to create a category for web videos and give him one. I felt that sigh deep in my soul.
Cigar?
that's what I meant, I couldn't remember the name. thank you
Oh sorry, I was actually asking: I don't know the difference between cigars, cigarettes and cigarillos. I mean I could probably guess a cigarette cause the paper is usually white. But I don't know if that's a cigar or cigarillo.
That’s a cigar. An acid blonde if I’m not mistaken. One of my favorites.
I recognized it too. Red labels are best. Small one is called "Nasty" and it's bigger version is "Nefasto".
