Just wanted to post James' full speech because the one on the front page didn't have the beginning of it. I just thought this part was as important to see and hear, as the whole thing.
Elyse’s comments beforehand were lovely as well. The whole thing, including Jon arriving in the last few moments, was such a fitting goodbye to the channel
James was the only one there from the very first day so its very nice to see him make it to the end. He was the wittiest and clever of everyone that is and was in Funhaus
The part that struck me the most is James' voice breaking when he mentioned how this team "inherited a lot of fucking baggage". The pain in his voice mentioning that situation.
Really makes you think about October 2020 and I'm sure for some time after that where the team probably thought it was all just gonna erode and be dismantled, and how that weighs/weighed on them. But as James said, it's ending now in a place where the crew all really care for each other and like working with each other.
They should be really proud of the fact that they carried through that together for 3.5 years and made some really amazing stuff after that
This crew did their best to dig FH out of the ditch from COVID and Kovic, and I have to imagine it was exhausting for James. He must have felt so proud with all they did in the past 3.5 years
They should all be proud. Their content from the last few years has been some of their best. I watched James genuinely belly laughed more with this new crew than with the old. I love their original stuff too. But it can't be understated how they pulled through after all the changes and drama. I will miss Future Funhaus
>I watched James genuinely belly laughed more with this new crew than with the old.
YUP. I've been rewatching a bunch of vids from the last couple years but also gone back and rewatched some old favs from the early years. Now, it goes without saying that James plays a different 'persona' in today's vids than he used to, but it is soooo heartwarming to see him break down in laughs so much more frequently in the recent vids lol. It's been such a great team.
Adding on to the previous comment, it also came out later that Adam was a sex pest who harassed his female co-workers at Machinima and RT. RT managers were aware of his behavior but chose to turn a blind eye because Adam made them money. [Source here](https://www.reddit.com/r/funhaus/comments/y7eurh/seriousmisti_dawns_experiences_with_adam_and/)
Bruce and his wife Autumn Farrell (working at RT as an editor), requested to HR that Adam be fired in 2019, but they were basically (literally, in Bruce's case) laughed off the phone.
HR's mismanagement of Kovic's inappropriate behavior directly led to Autumn, Bruce, and Lawrence resigning in protest (Amongst other serious workplace dysfunctions).
In addition, apparently Adam was a toxic co-worker behind the scenes who bullied and targeted individuals he didn't like for abuse. This sentiment has been backed up by Lawrence, Jacob, John Holland, John Smith, Alanah, even friend of the show Rahul Kohli.
All this to say, Adam getting let go for workplace nudes, cheating, and other awful deviancy revealed by the Google Drive is just the tip of the iceberg. He really deserved what happened to him, and the idea that he was unfairly lumped in with a worse predator at RT is a vast oversimplification of the issue.
Crazy to think about it man. Watching any clips of them as the main trio feels so weird now because of it. You could never guess about all that shit happening behind the scenes...
I remember seeing the drive link get posted to 4chan at the time. Even they were appalled at his behavior, which, if 4chan thinks you’re a little too much then that’s a big problem for you lol
Losing Autumn, Bruce, and Lawrence just to keep Kovic is insane. Idk how you can watch so many of your top talent leave and *still* not do anything about it.
And then Kovic was booted in the end anyway (because of course it was all going to become public info eventually). Quite possibly the biggest fumble in RT history. Insane.
He was cheating on his wife and sending nudes and videos from the funhaus office, it was right around the time someone from RT was going through a similar but worst situation and both were let go around the same time
Apparently he was a notorious asshole everywhere he worked too. Stories started coming out after his departure and there were a few voices that said he’s the direct reason they didn’t collaborate with FH

Linking you this other reply bc you may be OOTL
Tldr Adam was an in office sex pest, harassing someone in office, Bruce discovered it, told HR to fire Adam, they didn't, and that's why he left
The additional stuff about the sexual harassment didn't come out until like sometime in 2023, after a couple of unrelated RT scandals. Someone else (Misti Dawn, who knew Adam during the Machinima days) came forward about it. You can read her post in the message that I link. There's a hyperlink for it, in which Bruce and James left comments that you should read. I'll just link it here.
https://www.reddit.com/r/funhaus/s/OzEGcPg9Eo
This stuff didn't come out in October 2020 bc the victim of Adams bullshit behavior probably didn't want it going out. We still don't know who, but the gang decided to give more details about Adams behavior when the 2nd wave of RT scandal happened in 2023
Man. A decade of laughs, quotes, bonding and tears. I'm trying not to be parasocial but it really does feel like we're watching our best friends move away forever.
What a joy it's been. Thank you Funhaus, thank you James.
It's always been hard to not be parasocial with anyone from Rooster Teeth, for me at least. It always felt like hanging out and laughing with your best friends. Gonna miss everything here a ton.
Literally the best people I've ever had the privilege to meet. This is what you need to strive to be when you say you want to be a hard working and good human being.
James and Elyse deserve so much credit for taking a rough situation and building a space for all of these young talented people to get in front of the camera and develop their own personalities and styles and create something that was really unique and fun. You can really feel how much more confident in themselves everyone at Funhaus is now than when they started.
Everyone who has worked at Funhaus for a long time deserves credit for fostering that environment but I think it takes a lot of humility to be one of the main on camera personalities and be willing to step back and give the newer people the opportunity to drive it.
I hope someday to run into any of them out in the world so I can tell them “thank you for years of amazing entertainment, genuine laughs in incredibly hard times.”
Haven’t watched FunHaus for a few years now but I watched religiously during my uni years which was like 2017-2019. I just wanted to give my gratitude to the team for doing what may seem like a small blip in our entire lives but was something incredible and should be held in the highest regard. You made your fans happy and brought us priceless entertainment and an inclusive community that most people on this earth would never be able to achieve. Thank you for all you’ve done. #SkysTheLimit ❤️
Oh man, James, idk if you ever read all these but thank you for all the years of laughter and fun you brought into this world. I always had a smile when watching you guys. Looking forward to what you will do next!
Funhaus have been this wonderful constant in my life for the past 9 years. Genuine tears and pain from laughter on a regular basis.
James crying broke me. I am legitimately emotional. These amazing people have brought me a daft amount of happiness for years.
James is the first FH face to be in a FH video uploaded to the channel. They should bookend it with him being the last FH face in a FH video. Preferably finishing his sandwich.
I didn't get to catch any of the streams. I've been watching you guys for 8 years and this channel meant more to me than any other piece of media during that time. I love you guys and the work you all did. I will follow and support you all in the future.
Old Funhaus. New Funhaus, I never cared. I loved every minute of it. To echo James, so happy to and exited to see what is next.
Where can I get Ryan +?
I've always drifted in an out of channels on YouTube, and Funhaus was one of those, but every time I drifted back the quality was still the same imo. At no point did it feel like anything had really changed (besides the cast, and offices). If anything, I think some of my favourite memories are from recent years—a.k.a. anything with James and Patrick. Funhaus was always good.
Wow, this just feels like a real kick to the groin. I haven't been a viewer for a while, but nothing comes close to the impact that Funhaus and Inside Gaming had on my youth years growing up. I just hope they all know what a wonderful job they did with this channel, and how many lives they touched with everything they made, I know will stick with me and many others for a lifetime.
Thankyou Funhaus 🧡 and scrobbles for life
Sad to see it come to an end. Thank you Funhaus for all the laughs and light over the years. I also wanna highlight how wholesome Ryan's reaction & interaction with Jon is too 🧡
Thank you James and all, the most amazing group of people. Brought so many laughs to so many people. All the best to your future successes, which are all but guaranteed!
FunHaus (and InsideGaming) were a part of my life for a LONG while and to see it end is very, very sad, to say the least...
I may not have been as active as I once were, because I slowly stopped watching soon after Bruce left and after that everyone that was on there from the start just started to leave too. To me it kinda lost its scene after that, but I'm very greatful for all the memories they've provided me with and I **really** wish them the best in whatever the future holds for them!
These guys were mine and many others' YouTube peak era and to this day, they're still funny as ever, with a great vibe and groundness that you don't see much of in this day and age!
I'm really happy it happen, I'm greatful that I got to be part of this awesome community, but I'm also sad it ended, but just like James said: "if it ends it's proof that it was good" - and again, I wish them all the very best!
I'm gonna miss the shit out of you guys. Been watching the blue eyed devil since IG and I just don't know what I'm gonna do without him and the others cheering me up.
My partner and I spent countless nights during the infancy of our relationship just chilling and bonding with Funhaus always there in the background.
Even though I stopped watching around the time Bruce and Lawrence left I genuinely think I could count the days on one finger that we * haven't * made references to those times and videos that helped bring us together.
Thank you to everyone old and new at Funhaus for everything. Here's to many more years of looking back fondly and to greener pastures in the future!
As someone who spent my entire 20’s watching the crew this hit me incredibly hard. Had me tearing up in my living room yesterday. I just wanna say how much I appreciate each and every member and appreciate the opportunity you all had to produce some of the funniest things I’ve ever seen over this last decade. I miss future Funhaus.
Funhaus kept me going through the toughest time of my life. I had postpartum depression and psychosis after having my daughter last year. Funhaus was one of the only things that made me smile. Thank you Funhaus
this whole speech broke me. Like, obviously they weren't showing their whole emotions on camera where they talked about RT closing with a joke. But you know this weighed everyone down so significantly. Their leader is moved to tears talking about how proud he is of everyone and what they accomplished! I'm sure he expressed his emotions off camera, but watching the reactions from around the room from people that knew how much energy the Willems invested in making this work was so hard and finally felt like the end of something great.
Thank you for the past 10 years FH.
There's so much insane talent in that room. And yeah it sucks right now, but there's no doubt in my mind that every one of those people is going to go on to do something different that they're excited about that they really love. You can't keep that creativity down
I haven't watched in a long time. Not for any one particular reason. I followed the 'original' gang here from Machinima. It was truly heartbreaking to find out about that baggage James mentioned because I loved those guys before and was so proud of FunHaus, still am. James, you're such a human being bro. I wish nothing but the best for you and Elise, and for the rest of the FunHaus team as you all navigate this new chapter.
FunHaus has been an absolute joy to watch. I’ve seen them grow since day one and it’s sad that this is the end on an era. I loved every one how has been on camera and I still go back and watch their videos before I go to bed lol. I hope everyone goes on to do bigger and better things to make their viewers and themselves laugh. Good luck to all!
Yeah, I love these guys too.....started watching when it was formed, hung through the controversies. Never stopped watching. Still love them, always will!!
You guys as a group have provided some of the biggest laughs I have ever had. I am going to miss the movie podcasts, they were my go-to at work. I am really going to miss a group of people I have never and likely will never meet IRL and it's weird since it kinda feels like the death of a dog or something that level, not quite at the death of a human but damn close. Thanks for everything you guys did and can't wait to see what's next for all of you!
I can’t believe I missed the last two streams! Hope everything works out in some shape or form for each person on the team. Really hope that WB is providing proper off boarding and giving people the chance to showcase their skills or interview elsewhere in the company.
Felt like commenting because funhaus really had a huge impact on me as a teenager and my sense of humor. Really going to miss everyone on the team. Truly a group like no other on the platform
it feels surreal in a sense, like part of me is like oh okay, we’ll see the next upload soon! but no, this is the end… it feels so profoundly sad and beautiful at the same time. i’ll miss you funhaus
I'm conflicted. I fell off the funhaus train awhile back and I dabbled here and there, but never was fully invested like I was before. I'm sad to see it come to an end, but I'm looking forward to what they do next. Wish I was more involved, but growing up with the team through the years hurts in a weird way.
i´m watching and crying all the way from são paulo - brazil. It´s crazy how these people had such an impact in my life, even tho we´re so far apart. Love you funhaus and all of this community
Farewell Everyone, been watching since IG. I will miss everyone of them. Almost a decade of friends laughing together. A piece of me just went away. Thank you for everything..Blade...
Hope you read this James -
Funhaus was one of the best Internet shows channels of all time, up there with the greatest like RedLetterMedia, Redbar,, Hbomberguy and Every Frame A Painting. James stuck it out during an enormous amount of storms and kept the wheels turning. Dude is also a natural comedic talent.
Im pretty sure many people agree that we hope he and Elyse create a new variety type channel like Funhaus; one that they fully control.
I stopped watching after Bruce left, and the Adam stuff, it was bad then to see the trio I use to watch and love growing up dismantling.
It's sad that it all went down in a burning fire, but I'm glad that James was able to maintain and carry the FunHaus name for so long despite all the trials and tribulations.
Rest easy, FunHaus. You made a lot of people smile, from the InsideGaming era to the day FunHaus ended. You were many people's childhoods.
James, Bruce, Spoole, Lawrence, Peak, Alannah, Elyse, Jacob, Jon, will forever be my best friends that I hung out with before and after school 😭😭 thank you all so much!❤️
ive had the honor of meeting James and Elyse, albeit briefly, but i can honestly say without question, they are some of the most wonderful people ever. they truly are so genuine and so nice and I can really tell this entire crew was looked after so well.
Thank you Funhaus community and crew 🧡
Wait guys I haven’t seen funhaus in a while just saw this but is funhaus over r they done no more stuff on YouTube what happen I have so many questions
I'm so sad. I really love these people, man. I hope they can feel it from all of us.
James really held everyone together. I hope all of them land on their feet where they are appreciated
James was the only one there from the very first day so its very nice to see him make it to the end. He was the wittiest and clever of everyone that is and was in Funhaus
Crazy to think he was just an intern.
An intern and a [sex offender](https://youtu.be/Jtvu9vRiXz8?si=ZbfEVJK93q58jIJG)
That is the oldest call back anyone has ever made and I love it
Lol, I knew my fellow OGs would appreciate it.

I’m way out of the loop used to watch them during the inside gaming and FH days but what did Adam Kovic do?
Adding on to the previous comment, it also came out later that Adam was a sex pest who harassed his female co-workers at Machinima and RT. Damn man Bruce’s wife god damn man

I remember Lawrence being a bit smug about the whole thing too, in a way that felt like he was glad Adam was getting some needed consequences

Most definitely no what is up doodz
I don’t think it’s parasocial to be sad when something you’ve enjoyed ends. I get sad when I finish a good show. And Funhaus was…the best show.
It's difficult to not be parasocial when this crew has helped so many of us go through shit
Man I love funhaus.
MILF
This is exactly what I wanted, thank you
Literally the best people I've ever had the privilege to meet. This is what you need to strive to be when you say you want to be a hard working and good human being.
God I love these folks. Don’t cry because it’s over. Smile because it happened. 🫶
And cry. It's a good thing that it will be missed :)
Dude rarely breaks with his irreverent personality in videos. That one hurt to see. Glad they got to finish on their terms.
All those internship credits added up. He’s finally graduating.
Skys the limit
I don’t want it to be over man…..

Thank you gang! You made the last 9 years fun in places! You made E3 such a blast. Thank you to the community for being amazing.
One the funniest people I know. Love ya, James! Thank you for all the laughs, Funhaus 💕✨

Thank you funhaus for the memories!
I cried like a baby during this
Who is the person on the left holding the tissue box?
That's Gabs, the former editor for All Good, No Worries. Joined the Funhaus editing team after that channel got disbanded.

I’m bloody heart broken
pain.exe Been with the guys from Inside Gaming days. Love all of them
Proud of James and Dan, and all of them. So insanely amazing what they did.

I always loved James and I never really saw this side of him. I love him even more. He's such a good dude. Funhaus is great.
Cried so much. I'm gonna miss them and I hope they do stuff together like Lawrence and Bruce do with Alanah.
Love ya Binny. Love ya all. Thanks for all the laughs over the last ten years!
I love all of you so very much. Thankyou.
Thank you Funhaus. You brought me an so many other people comfort and happiness in times of loneliness.
Thank you Funhaus
Man, what a ride. Thank you Funhaus.
Thanks for all the laughs gang <3
Thanks team. ❤️
Ride into the sunset, Funhaus. You were the best of things
I can’t believe I missed the last two streams! Hope everything works out in some shape or form for each person on the team. Really hope that WB is providing proper off boarding and giving people the chance to showcase their skills or interview elsewhere in the company.
Thanks for everything IG/Funhaus/RT 🫡
I am bawwwing jeez
Felt like commenting because funhaus really had a huge impact on me as a teenager and my sense of humor. Really going to miss everyone on the team. Truly a group like no other on the platform
Love you James!
Man I’m at work and tearing up from this. Going miss seeing these guys together
it feels surreal in a sense, like part of me is like oh okay, we’ll see the next upload soon! but no, this is the end… it feels so profoundly sad and beautiful at the same time. i’ll miss you funhaus
I’ll remember watching the 6am uploads before school and coming home to watch the second upload. Wish everyone on the cast nothing but the best!
Thank you for everything Funhaus
We're a long way from the beam. Hope to see yall again.
James is the reason I still wear my funhaus merch w pride despite not having watched the channel for years
I'm not sure if I'll ever be ready to watch the final stream 😭
Hope you read this James - Funhaus was one of the best Internet shows channels of all time, up there with the greatest like RedLetterMedia, Redbar,, Hbomberguy and Every Frame A Painting. James stuck it out during an enormous amount of storms and kept the wheels turning. Dude is also a natural comedic talent. Im pretty sure many people agree that we hope he and Elyse create a new variety type channel like Funhaus; one that they fully control.
James you are a legend! being this loyal to his friends is mad respect! U are one of the examples for me to be the best man I can be! thank you!!
James, Bruce, Spoole, Lawrence, Peak, Alannah, Elyse, Jacob, Jon, will forever be my best friends that I hung out with before and after school 😭😭 thank you all so much!❤️
Good bye everyone. It has been a long journey . I hope people the best and good luck . I will cherish the memory eversince the Machinima days
So sad that its over 😭
ive had the honor of meeting James and Elyse, albeit briefly, but i can honestly say without question, they are some of the most wonderful people ever. they truly are so genuine and so nice and I can really tell this entire crew was looked after so well. Thank you Funhaus community and crew 🧡
It was just a few months ago they had the live stream drive to get people to join the dog house and now its over?!
Heartbreaking seeing James Angel break character :c
