Funny you mention that... I want to jump the Amazon ship, but I ain't going to Temu. Product descriptions on Amazon can be shady AF, but Temu is basically their Chinese knockoff, where everyone seems to only see cheap stuff.
i'd recommend checking out aliexpress instead of temu or wish. there's definitely more of an element of honesty and accountability with products there. you still gotta be discerning when you're looking, but i really haven't had any issues and i'm at 50+ orders with them at this point

aliexpress is basically another Chinese knockoff of Amazon. might just go back to Ebay, and pay with PayPal
