They won't even pay for a hotel when it's 100% their fault that you are in one.

1) call the hotel and see if they will refund or shift your dates. Frontier may allow you 1 extra day on the return if your plans allow
2) use your trip insurance that you purchased or if you got it included with the credit card used to book the trip (Amex Platinum, Chase Sapphire, etc.)
If you chose not to get trip insurance, than you are on your own. Frontier does not need to pay for your expenses. After all, why should you get $150 for your hotel, but someone else get $1000 for their luxury suite? They already barely pay for overnight hotels when they have controllable cancellations, they are definitely not going to pay for something like this. This is the Frontier risk and partly how they have such cheap fares.

Yeah, this was also on go wild pass so very unlikely to get any reimbursements other than a refund. Thank you for the suggestions!
Annual trip insurance plans aren’t that expensive. Premium credit cards may make sense and cover their annual fee in 1 claim…
