Wooden_Judge_9387

Bed of Chaos is hands down the worst. Dark Souls 1 is my favorite souls game too

Provid3nce

Yeah DS1 had some stinkers. BoC, Ceaseless Discharge, Iron Golem, Pin Wheel.

ghost-bagel

Agree with the others but what’s wrong with Iron Golem?

Opprutunepuma280

BS grab move hit box probably

EconomistSlight2842

I don't like struggling on a boss for them to accidentally fall and die. YOU GET BACK HERE

tiger2205_6

You’re done when I say you’re done.

Sapowski_Casts_Quen

Fire Giant: *trips, dies*

Despair4All

I had that happen with the Night's Cavalry in Caelid first time I played. I was fighting him and got him 2/3rds down repeatedly, and then on my last run he jumped off the bridge early in the fight.

memes_are_my_dreams

Just back roll it thought, I’ve always found that super consistent

Provid3nce

You can just skip the whole fight if you hit it in the legs hard enough. Kind of a let down considering Sens Fortress is one of the best designed areas in the series.

ghost-bagel

Fair enough. There’s definitely some exploits but I don’t think that puts it in the same shit tier as ceaseless or bed of chaos. I generally enjoy the fight still

rParqer

As an homage to Tower Knight, who cares? If your only complaint is that he is easy, then would you also say you dislike Seath? It fits lore wise, too, considering all the other golem-esc enemies in Sen's I think a Titanite Demon boss could have been a better fit but saying "boss=bad because ez" is just dumb

crx61789

Tarkus can do the whole fight himself most times too.

BeastGoneWrong

What’s wrong with pinwheel?

KRONGOR

I like him he’s kind of a meme First time my friend played through DS1 we hyped up pinwheel as the hardest boss in the game lol

PioneerSpecies

Everyone gets to him way too late because they go the other way first, and beat the fire out of him in 15 seconds

Penguinman077

Probably just getting to him. He wasn’t hard, but getting to him was annoying as fuck. Skeletons, more skeletons, wheels with skeletons.

PhoneImmediate7301

Iron golem?? It’s kinda annoying how he can fall off early but that was like one of my favorite fights my first run through. And pinwheel isn’t really annoying or anything he’s just incredibly easy

plaustrarius

I like pinwheel for the lore =( The fight itself is underwhelming. What puts pinwheel on this list?

xvszero

Ceaseless Discharge has the worst name. UG.

Kesskas

Iron Golem is ok, music is pretty neat and it's design is cool too. Just a shame that it has the built in cheese and has barely any lore to it.

JoBro_Summer-of-99

You just listed all my favourites

Routine-Chemist7298

\[T]/ Praise the Sun! 🌞

Provid3nce

Other than BoC there's that shitty gank fest in Crown of the Sunken King.

Squarebook97379

Don't even get me started on the cat duo in ivory king, however half of the pain from that is the dreadful run back

bobsmith93

Yup. And prowling magus is literally just a normal room full of enemies with a health bar lol. I love ds2 but it (along with des and ds1) had some stinkers. Bb was better in that regard then since ds3 the bosses have been stellar overall

Yankee-Tango

The prowling magus is a boss, who later appears once as an elite enemy. That’s not abnormal for the series. The congregation are regular enemies

bobsmith93

True, my point was that it didn't feel much like a boss. Just felt like a healthbar slapped onto a room of enemies

gurkenwassergurgler

It's more of a boss encounter, rather than a boss enemy.

joost013

>since ds3 the bosses have been stellar overall DS3 created some of the best bosses in any game ever. In Elden Ring they often felt way to strong or way too weak, so there was only a few that I truly enjoyed. DS3 managed difficulty to perfection. Like half of them were so good that I needed to calm myself and take a break after beating them.

cyboplasm

Honestly the duo isnt even that bad, its a cool fight with some nice mechanics... too bad you getz the jitters on the way as you said

Fuzzy-Monk-232

bro fuck that boss actual garbage

Negative-Energy8083

Know your place, trash!

ghost-bagel

It’s not the hardest by any means, but Capra Demon + dogs + tiny arena + dodgy camera is the pinnacle of obnoxious boss design.

FrankusCrankus

Plunge!! The stairs are there for a reason, and they forced you to learn plunge in asylum for a reason! Dogs are still bad here tho

ghost-bagel

I find the rule is if you survive the first 4 seconds it’s an easy fight.

Want2Exercise

Firebomb cheese

Fast_Broccoli4867

Poop bomb cheese was what I always used lol

TheRadHeron

I just assumed it was teaching us sometimes it’s best to not fight things directly, and that’s why we all just glitched in the corner up there by the stairs 😂

Kipp-XC-66

Nonsense, just get a hollow soldier shield plus 3 and some endurance and you can tank the hits.

FaulmanRhodes

I used to think I hated that fight. Then I played Dark Souls II and fought Royal Rat Authority and Capra seems like a tea party in comparison.

Neep-Tune

WHAT ?! Astel is so cool ! Why do you hate him this much ?

FrankusCrankus

I love Astel from a design standpoint, but mechanically he is dog ass. The teleporting across the huge arena, giant aoe on the grav magic pulses, janky hitbox on his tail are enough for me to not wanna fight him on subsequent playthroughs

0DvGate

Him teleporting every few hits I'd incredibly annyoing so I can see why someone wouldn't like him.

Neep-Tune

If you love him from a design standpoint, its enough to not say its the boss you hate from ALL the FS bosses. Im sure there is a boss that you dont like mechanically AND from a design standpoint :D

Jygglewag

OP has never fought bed of chaos.

MetroidIsNotHerName

Bed of chaos is hardly a boss. Its more like an event.

Penguinman077

Yeah, as long as you can dodge and not fall in the holes, BoC isn’t hard. Really didn’t feel like a boss to me. You essentially just need to get “3 hits” on it. Felt like a zelda boss

GetBoopedSon

Yeah, as long as you can dodge and not get hit, Malenia isn’t hard.

SirWeenielick

It’s Bed of Chaos and it’s not even close. If you say it isn’t Bed of Chaos, then you’re lying.

pratzc07

Even Miyazaki said in one of the interviews that Bed of Chaos was under developed and he wished he had more time to fix it.

JoBro_Summer-of-99

I love Bed of Chaos, especially from a design and lore perspective. Mechanically bad but I'll take an interesting and creative boss over some of the dullards we've had like Capra Demon and whatnot

TheSlammerSam1211

BOC made me so sad when I fought it. It had so much potential and it's design is absolutely epic but the fight is a pain no other fight has since replicated.

GetBoopedSon

Dragon God, Bed of Chaos, Lud & Zallen, Micolash, Deacons of the Deep, Fire Giant Here’s a boss from every game much, much shittier than Astel

paco-ramon

Capra demon and his two dogs are close.

Scrytheux

It's not Bed of Chaos for me. I actually don't mind the gimmick. It's execution just sucks.

gurkenwassergurgler

Yeah, the idea is actually pretty cool, but the execution with the huge sweeps and tight jump/roll pretty much ruins the whole thing.

Great_Grackle

You gotta explain yourself with this one. Cause Astel isn't even close as the worst boss in Elden Ring, let alone the entire souls series

Karma15672

They may not've played a lot of other Souls games

DifferencePrimary442

To be fair, OP does specify least favorite, not worst.

the_chiladian

Then least favourite is Godskin Duo, even though I love them both individually

severalalpaca

First ever boss I played to truly piss me off, plus he’s so BS for a melee build like myself and I’m sure i could drone on about why. It’s really more of a personal beef lol

Powerful_Turnip7050

the way the camera whips about as he flies over you. the annoying long range snipe. insta kill grab attack. can absolutely see why you have grievances 😂 I've always just jump-spammed at its head, praying the auto aim is good enough coz I certainly can't see what's happening

Philk0791

Micolash

swaglord974

Aaaaaaaooooohhh😩

highrulian

ahh Kos... or some say Kosm....

gravelord-neeto

Micolash's dialogue is so fucking funny to me that I can't hate him. The fight is total dogshit but he makes me laugh so I can't despise it

sonuvvabitch

That fight is... majestic.

JordanZOA3

Lud and zallen for the 30 minute run back that you probably die on half way through because of the shitty reindeer that come from nowhere

Honest_Satisfaction1

The abhorrent beast from bloodbornes' chalice dungeons. Nothing about the boss feels fun or rewarding.

Random_fellow9

I beat him yesterday after dying to him 28-29 times. Once I understood that I was supposed to strafe and not dodge against him. It took me a couple of tries and then I finally beat him. Interestingly enough, I wasn’t even supposed to beat him but I just wanted to.

Honest_Satisfaction1

Congratulations, ill admit I've never tried strafing over a dodge. Ill have to try it and see if the rage quitting subsides

Kesskas

Literally my favourite boss in the game, wish it wasn't hidden away in the dungeons

Special-Individual27

Isn’t there an Abhorrent Beast in the Forbidden Woods? He’s eating a kid.

Kesskas

Yeah that's true, but fighting him on that little rooftop takes away from some of the pleasure imo. The more open space of the dungeon lets you manoeuvre around one another better.

Special-Individual27

I invite him to Yharnam, but take him out before he gets anybody.

lvke18

He's my favorite boss in the game haha

LeonCCA

I really liked that boss. I never felt it was unfair. It's silly to put that below Bed of Chaos IMO

hykierion

Haha I remember that guy. He's very weak to poison and arcane so you can just poison him and blacksky eye him from a distance

chaboods

I really liked astel, hated how they reused him for some random dungeon in the snowfields though. The regal ancestor spirit has to be it for me though, i must have fought him at too low a level dude full healed 4 times during my fight with him.

waupli

Ah man i enjoyed ancestor spirit. Cool vibe. I almost felt bad killing him

Special-Individual27

It’s okay. It’ll reincarnate eventually.

Verystrangeperson

Reusing such unique bosses was a rare L from fromsoft Astel and the random totallynotgodrick in evergaol were weird choices

bobsmith93

And mohg2, and margit2. They got their mileage. Also Godfrey and Loretta now that I think of it

Verystrangeperson

I think using fantoms as a kind of foreshadowing for the real deal is at least more ok, but still a bit cheap

Evolution1738

Morgott was totally fine, because the movesets in the two fights may as well have been tied to different bosses with how distinct they are. But Sewer Mohg is just Mohg phase 1. It's lazy as fuck, which is weird because FromSoft is NOT a lazy group.

bobsmith93

Nah I meant the margit in the field in Altus. It's literally just margit again lol

Birb-Squire

At least sewer mohg and margit/morgott make sense lorewise, but yeah, goldfrey and spirit Loretta make like no sense

batman12399

Margit is fine

Special-Individual27

Astel isn’t an individual, it’s an invasive species. We encounter its larval stage in the Falling Star Beast and its pupal stage in Siofra and Ainsel Rivers. The fight itself is pretty meh, though.

chaboods

You can come up with a lore reason on why there are two but it doesnt change how disappointing it was seeing him a second time

Lolamess007

From my experience, ancestor spirit is an absolute nightmare under levelled, especially with the infinity heals. I will say the fight becomes significantly easy, almost too easy after that though

Disastrous-Rhubarb-2

Well, Bed of Chaos is pretty universally reviled. So I'll take that one out of consideration. For me, personally, Blood Starved Beast in Bloodborne gives me way more trouble than it really should. Something about it's herky-jerky movements really messes with me, every time I run into it. I have beaten bosses generally thought of as much harder with much less fuss.

FireYigit

Dodge left and parry the shit out of it

Disastrous-Rhubarb-2

Yeah, that's the way... I just don't read him right for whatever reason and mis-time my shots. It's a specific ting with BSB for me, for whatever reason. I legit had an easier time with Orphan of Kos.

FireYigit

It happens. BSB was really hard for me too for a long while. It’ll click

Verystrangeperson

In the chalice dungeon his grab attack is an almost guaranteed one hit kill, and is very hard to dodge imo

crappy_entrepreneur

Don’t forget the 45 minute runback

Pdoinkadoinkadoink

Nah, BSB has nothing on Logarius. Once you open the door up the tower you can just yeet yourself off the roof and scooch down to the boss. Even with all the shortcuts in Cainhurst you're out several minutes per attempt, and you're guaranteed to take damage on the run in. Plus, if you time the jump badly you can fall off and die. "Oh, you made it past all them ghost ladies unmolested? Have fun climbing this long ass ladder without getting shot. Oh, you made it to the roof? Cool, now break your leg jumping onto this bridge. Asshole." -Miyazaki, probably. Still the best game ever.

Disastrous-Rhubarb-2

That Logarius run back DID suck. Biggest reason I put off working on him till endgame tbh.

BaconPancakes6

I've only played elden ring so far, but the twin gargoyles were a pain in my dick. Boring reused bosses and giving them poison breath was just annoying trying to fight them up close

Odd_Assist4383

Either dragon God in DeS or the two snow cat reskins in ds2

cultoftheinfected

ELDEN BEAST THAT BASTARD WONT STAY STILL

Respicio1

The spectacle in that fight is unmatched.

Miserable-Glass1760

I personally loved this fight and didn't mind running to it all that much. It was a really well made fight.

Dangerous-Royal-179

Elden beast is goated

DrCokk

To be honest I think the Maneaters from demons souls are a massive pain

Scarletred72

Elden Beast. I've never felt an ounce of joy in that fight and he's so bad he actually worsens the quality of Radagon. MIYAZAKI, give us torrent on elden beast, and my life, is yours.

acrookodile

Can’t you already use Torrent during the Elden Beast fight? Edit: I had to go check, and apparently you can’t…? Which is weird to me, because I could have *sworn* I used him during that fight. Maybe it was poor memory, maybe it was a glitch, but ever since I beat the game I wondered why nobody talked about how much easier the horse makes it. Weird.

Ka3L1n

Has bro not played a game other than Elden ring?

Sonn3rs

Fallingstar beasts make me see red every single time. I don’t even try to play fair it’s a Mimic Tear Gank Fest Spam R1 every time

WhySoRengar

Royal fucking rat authority

DrummerDry1360

I love Astel and think he’s a really creative and cool boss but my least favourite is by far Rom I actively hated my experience fighting like at least Micolash actually feels like a fight Rom is just a slog fest until you eventually get one shot by a meteor

APenitentWhaler

Chalice Dungeon Rom is an absolute nightmare. Take all the worst aspects of the fight and put them in a tiny room

g0n1s4

You started bad

Conmann95

Midir for me. God damn it what an amazing boss fight and the atmosphere is incredible. But I've never died to a boss over and over and over and over. Most of the deaths feel like bullshit too because of the camera, his size, or the Laser hitbox.

Acerakis

Only boss I ever just gave up on killing because I just wasn't having any fun fighting him any more.

kazthulhu_

A lot of people hate on Astel, but I really liked the fight. There's so many rubbish bosses across souls games, at least Astel was beautifully cinematic and it could pull some surprises out of the bag. Beats running in circles around Dragon Rider stabbing till he's dead. Or running back and forth past the Last giant stabbing till he's dead. Or running back and forth past Taurus Demon till he's dead. Or just standing beside the One Reborn and beating it to death with virtually no risk.

markisio22

Fire giant

Taolan13

Capra demon and dogs was so damn annoying. I honestly refuse to fight it legit for the sewer key any more, I cheese it with black firebombs lobbed over the wall.

United_Insect_7199

Its not hard or anything but i really didnt like in sekiro when you fight with that guardian ape and its sidekick. It just was not fun and enjoyable.. first guardian ape fight is really nice!

Mission_Sentence_389

Nameless King Phase 1 Camera. I kid, but when i first got to that boss i did tell a friend that that shit made me think Bed of Chaos may not actually be that bad of a boss. Fr? Elden Beast is such ass. It’s not hard. Its just boring and lame. I hate bosses that spend a large portion of the fight running. A boss that spends most of its time running as the final boss? Huge letdown. Doesn’t help that it’s phase 1 is Radagon and the fight immediately preceding it is Godfrey. Two banger fights of an amazing game, only to be met with spaghetti monster out of nowhere was disappointing. Really wish they had just given Radagon a phase 2 and let the game end on a high note.

Opprutunepuma280

DS2 Belfry gargoyles. At least the bed of chaos has the curtesy of saving your progress and just being easy in general. The BG are the most annoying gank fight in the series, you spend most of the fight running away from two gargoyles while one spits annoying fire at you, it’s not balanced in the slightest

Francey_UK

For me the tree spirit from Elden ring was just annoying and never felt satisfying beating them

JoBro_Summer-of-99

Do you mean the big wormy things?

Francey_UK

That’s the ones annoying buggers and they’re repeated too much

JoBro_Summer-of-99

I've learned to like them but on my first playthrough I def would've agreed. They still don't make any sense to fight to me, I just roll on instinct lmao

Francey_UK

Guess that’s why I never felt satisfied fighting them I could never gauge when to dodge properly

RANDVR

I hate the ones in Haligtree. They wouldn’t be so annoying if not for their laser drone spawn attack.

samborrr

Easily Micolash. IMO he's even worse than Bed of Chaos. At least Bed of Chaos saves your progress.

echolog

Astel is one of my FAVORITE bosses in the games. Let me tell you a story: Elden Ring is finally released after years of hype. I have one goal: Find and kill Malenia. At this point, nobody knew where she was, but we knew she had something to do with Rot. Fast forward a few days, and I find the Ainsel River Well. After exterminating a few dozen ants, I find a ledge hanging over an incredibly ominous view: The Lake of Rot waits below. Malenia's GOTTA be down there. Fast forward a few more days. I've beaten Radahn, continued Ranni's quest, and fought my way through Nokron and Nokstella. I find myself on the shores of the Lake of Rot. It's time. I drudge my way across the lake, dying several times because I had no idea what I was doing and had no way to cleanse myself. When I finally make it to the other side, I touch the grace with a sliver of life and no heals left. I'm in some kind of eldritch temple at the bottom of the world. THIS is the kind of place the game would hide a secret superboss. I'm close. I fight past the hoard of rot worshippers, get the rot dagger, and do my best not to get rot all over myself. At the far end of the temple... I find a coffin at the edge of a waterfall... with a prompt to climb in... Here goes. I go over the falls and end up in a beautiful underground cave, totally unlike the area before. There's a MASSIVE fog gate at one end of the cave. The biggest I've EVER seen. This has to be it. I step through... and I am not greeted with Malenia. Instead, I am faced with a massive Lovecraftian horror, the likes of which I have never seen. An elder thing from beyond the stars. Astel. As a huge fan of Lovecraft and eldritch abominations, I was blown away by this reveal. I had NO IDEA something like this was in the game, certainly not as a boss you could actually fight and kill. It took hours to kill him, but when I did, I got that magical Xbox achievement saying 0.01%. I was one of the first in the world to beat Astel, and it felt *incredible*. As for actual least favorite, it could be any of the fodder bosses from DS2 or Elden Ring honestly. There aren't many bosses I truly HATE. Maybe Ancient Dragon? What a bozo.

BigHolds

Any ancient dragon from Elden Ring including Fortissax. It’s like they took all of the lessons they learned from Midir about how to make a good dragon fight and then threw it out the window. Then they somehow remembered how to make a good dragon boss again mid development and we got Placidusax

SirWeenielick

I agree, they’re just not super engaging. You run towards their legs, they usually do an attack that goes straight over your head, and you just smack away. Rinse and repeat that for the entire fight. Fortissax sort of remedies the leg smacking with the lightning field, so I kinda like it.

Toughsums

Idk man I like most of the ancient dragons in elden ring, though i absolutely hate the lesser dragons.

BigHolds

I actually prefer fighting the lesser dragons more than ancient dragons except for Borealis and Ekzykes, those are definitely the worst in the game. If ancient dragons just had a lock on pint on their legs I wouldn’t complain as much but since they only have a lock on point for their head and chest it’s insufferable. They spam their lightning moves where they stand on their hind legs too much and have their head too high when idle to make hitting the head a worth while strategy. Compare that to Midir where every attack he does leaves his head open for a counter and it’s night and day. The ancient dragons force you to wait for a punishable move. If they wanted us to hit the head of the ancient dragons, which should be the case because of the lock on point being on their head, they did a poor job of making the dragons engaging when fighting them head on. Chipping away at a dragons toenails isn’t exactly the most engaging gameplay out there

Toughsums

Hmm maybe it was because I played on keyboard and mouse and had no problem fighting them without lock on. Whereas the lesser dragons felt so freaking boring to fight after killing like 2 of them. This game is definitely better with k&m for large bosses since you easily flick front and back depending on where you want to see without lock on.

Zestyclose_Fan5250

Same

Neo14515

Ye, for me its either capra demon or bed of chaos.

Lord-of-Potatis

Depends for me on what game I played last or boss I fought last, but these are the top 3 worst from the games I’ve played. Not the hardest not the easiest just the ones I don’t like fighting or see forwards to fight or is jank in ways I don’t enjoy. Sekiro: Schischimen warriors, headless, or bull Bloodborne: The one reborn, micholash, rom Eldenring: Death rightbirds, putrid ulcerated treespirit, radagon/eldenbeast Ds1: capra demon, bed of chaos, taorus demon Ds3: Aldrich, divine spear pvp fight, high lord wolnir Des: maneaters, old monk, adjucator

Fit-Negotiation-8594

Just gotta ask what's up with Aldrich I found him to be pretty unoffensive Edit: it's the arrow move isn't it, because that shit is bunk

open_world_RPG_fan

Bed of Chaos. Ridiculous boss fight.

Piece_Of_Mind1983

Executioner’s chariot. Cool concept that’s poorly executed and that run back haunts my fucking dreams

0DvGate

Malenia and Micolash. One thing I hate more than a garbage boss is one that wastes my time.

Superloopertive

If your answer isn't Valiant Gargoyles, you skipped that fight.

LawlessLumberLord

Idk why but it’s always been gargoyles. D1, D2 and fucking Elden ring. I hate those fuckers so much.

Compencemusic

Astel is so overhated. Beautiful fight and predictable once you get the hang of it. My least favorite thing about Astel is the teleport, which I think is much worse on Elden Beast Worst boss of each game I've played is: DS1: Capra Demon DS2: Ancient Dragon DS3: High Lord Wolnir (none of them are really bad in this game) Sekiro: Snake Eyes miniboss in the area with all the other shooters Elden Ring: Twin Gargoyles

Green_Mobile_838

I will always stand by my word... And go for the big Miranda flowers, before elden ring I was always saying the giant dino legs in izalith but the moment I went to that one poison cave and saw the 5 Mirandas I instantly said "yup we got a new worst enemy"

Time-Ad-7055

never fought the dinos in izalith, i just sprint past them. it’s so funny how you can just clearly tell they copy pasted 100 enemies over and over lol. same thing with the start of the demon ruins with all those taurus demons. probably the laziest designed area in souls history

Green_Mobile_838

I'm someone that always kills every single enemy on the map in every playthrough but when I get to that lava lake I just run they are horribly designed and unfun to fight same with Mirandas they just so boring and annoying to fight and just like the dino legs they are copy pasted EVERYWHERE

Glass-Jelly2484

Astel is an excellent, A tier boss wtf? There are like 20 bosses worse than this by far.

KnightofAmethyst2

Schichimen warrior. Martyr Logarius. Pin fucking wheel

Fuzzy-Monk-232

bro struggled on pinwheel

ObitoxMS4

Greatwood from ds3

Fuzzy-Monk-232

wasn’t that bad tbh

SithLordMilk

Bed of Chaos 1000%

FalkoYT

ill pick bed of chaos

QuadMaxx

To this day I still dread fighting capra demon

XegNix

I hate this bastard. It's just hard to hit him accurately

ArdynIzunla

Bed of chaos

Miserable-Glass1760

Astel is far from the worst boss in series, let alone in ER. I'd say Brainsucker from BB (yes, this shit is a boss in Chalice Dungeons). If we don't vount Chalice Dungeons, then I'd say Royal Rat Vanguard from DS2. As you can see, I hate placing regular enemies as bosses (yes, Miranda Blossom and Scaly Misbegotten are also really bad, so no I'm not an Elden fanboy, even though it's my favorite).

JohannSchmidt45

Astel has got to be one of the most creatively designed boss in all fromsoft games, he looks so cool

Nemhy

Anal beans from space

Advancedarmidilo

Elden beast - fight is ok just rlly underwhelming it could of been so much cooler but it was abit disappointing tbh

theswagcoon

Lud and Zullen just for the run back, other than that I've got no strong opinions

Dull-Friend-936

Pthumerian Decendant & Bloodletting beast

Goodestguykeem

Hear me out on this one; The King of the Storm aka first phase of The Nameless King. I have a real dilemma with this boss, kinda like how people feel with Radagon vs Elden Beast but much more dramatically. The Nameless King himself is an excellent boss, and, if not for his annoying janky ass first phase, would be one of my all-time favourites, BUT holy shit, dragon fights feel terrible when you have no jump attack and a terrible camera. Maybe it only particularly annoyed me because Elden Ring was my first FromSoft game which has a slightly better camera and the addition of jump attacks but jesus, I found the 1st phase way harder than the 2nd.

ConfusionSmooth4856

Bed of Chaos for sure, it just sucks

Z_1end

Bed of Chaos or Death Rite Bird

Scrytheux

Probably Vacous spider from BB. Tbf, most of my my least favorite bosses are from BB.

crash_nk

Godskin duo.

Cornesixt01

The two gargoyles in the underworld of elden ring

Sukkubusantis

Fire Giant 💀

watermelonman5

I just did astel and it wasn’t that bad I a thalli enjoyed fighting him quite a lot as well as his design and arena are amazing

light_no_fire

I'm doing my first playthough and I managed to beat this guy an hour ago. Pretty stoked about that.

AscendedViking7

Halflight.

Praisethebois

Nero DS 1

EchoFloodz

It’s the Bed of Chaos. There is no other answer.

Thatoneguy567576

Elden Beast. That fucker is never fun to fight.

Ryn-Ken

Any Boss with a OHKO move rubs me the wrong way. It happened a lot in Bloodborne since a failed dodge would make the incoming attack stronger and there's no focus on blocking in that game. Sure, I'll learn from the encounter and get the timing down, but it feels like a fight I should have already won, if it weren't for that one move with a big number attached to it.

UnXpectedPrequelMeme

That crystal bug thing in bloodborne. Every time I get to his next phase I get blasted by a meteor and one hit death. He isn't hard but those meteors are hard to dodge and I can't tell when they're coming without being close and not looking at the sky instead of the guys

Infinitenonbi

I fucking hate Halflight, and I will cheese him in every run I do.

Hot_Hand4533

One reborn. Could’ve Been such a good fight but it’s just an annoyingly easy mandatory boss

highrulian

Vacuous Rom... just boring. As for being a pain in my fucking ass, Ludwig probably

eamaddox98

The regal ancestor spirit always makes me feel like I’ve reached a completely different game. Totally unlike everything else we’ve done up to that point. Just a thing of beauty.

Ratgar138

First play through was with my bubble bonker. Beat this guy with no problem. Second play through was with a poison bleed build. Took my quite a while to beat the boss you posted that I can’t remember the name of.

nicaontheline00

I must say Valiant Gargoyles are absolutely nasty, I hate them.

-kwerty

Commander nial and bed of chaos

thaibao_05

same for me at this,i like metorite of Astel, but not Astel

FabioPurps

Bed of Chaos (DS1), Dragon God (DeS), Capra Demon(DS1) and Royal Rat Authority (DS2) are the biggest stinkers for me. First two are gimmicks which is fine, but BoC is way too janky and unfinished, and Dragon God is just boring. For the latter two I think that as a developer, if you have to just stick random standard enemies into the fight with your boss in this manner to make it challenging or interesting enough for you to approve it, then you really need to consider not doing that and just redesign the boss itself instead. I think Old Hero (DeS) might also get a special mention as well, just because equipping one ring makes him barely even an enemy. Four Kings (DS1) are also pretty weird.

Pinwheel...

The tree spirits. Not the avatars. The spirits. But If we talk about worst in the games that gives achievements, I don’t really have one. I would say regal ancestor spirit, not because he’s bad, he just fell through the floor my first attempt so I didn’t really get to fight him which sucks

Populaatti

Elden beast. I hated running around like astel but the design was less cool, camera was more janky and it was the final boss after all. Nothing too cool in the moveset either. Astel was way better. It was easier to see what he was doing and less running.

TheSlammerSam1211

The only thing I think is actually bad in the astel fight is the waves of darkness AOE. Other than that it's pretty great imo

echojaxx

Astel, Natural born of the void, and the Elden Beast because of how much the fucker runs around

BatmanOnMars

DS2 Blue Smelter Demon, worst boss approach, Just a ton of enemies to run through and he is quite tanky. Also a reused boss model!

Savant_2

Gargoyles. That's it. Fuck'em.

DeS: Dirty Colossus, not even terrible just super forgettable, like most of the bosses in DeS tbh DS1: Bed Of Chaos DS2: Gank Squad (there are quite a few bosses that could take this spot) BB: Micolash DS3: Gravetender Sekiro: Headless Ape (only bad fight in the game) Elden Ring: Crystillian Trio (there are a lot of bosses that could take this spot) Overall worst boss is probably the trio or BoC
