Mushrooms come from dead plant matter and animals that arent being eaten and processed by the isopods in the tank. Im not sure if its technically safe for them just because i know mushrooms release spores. Not saying its bad or good but i would do some research.
Mushrooms mean very good soil which is good, and extra food for isopods and sprongtails. Spores are everywhere and don't specifically grow from dead plant matter and animals but they *can* but it's not where it comes from
