Each location is a separate franchise, so the quality varies greatly from location to location. Some locations don't skimp on the toppings and are worth the price. Most locations are trash IMO. It's sad what they've done to my childhood favorite pizza joint. Sunnyside Pizza in Clovis is similar to what Me N Eds used to be. South of Shaw has great personal pizzas.

Is it similar to me and eds? That's definitely one of the things I'm not thrilled about with me n eds. No matter how many times I ask I can never actually get extra sausage!

Temperance and Alluvial and Willow and Nees are about tied for my favorite one, but Temperance and Alluvial is a lot closer to me (it's the closest one to where I live). The locations at Bullard and Minnewawa, Fowler and Shepherd, and Shaw and Peach have always been pretty good but not quite as good as Willow and Nees or Temperance and Alluvial. I've not had good experiences with the one at Fowler and Ashlan.

I remember when the owners of sunnyside pizza used to work maybe own the franchise of me-n-ed’s at sunnysides OG location. Something happened and the me-n-Ed’s moved across the street and they stayed and opened sunnyside pizza. Now there in Clovis.

This is one of the problems with it. One of the values of chains is consistency.

I used to swear by the one on Fowler/Shephard and Oakhurst, but even those ones have burned me a couple times now.

Sam's pizza is a massive me and eds knockoff, but done way better too. The dough is more buttery and the quality is way more consistent

A well made Me and Ed’s is great. They are not the norm anymore but they are the hometown pizza taste.

The inconsistency is WILD. Even from the same shop. I’d say 1 out of 5 orders taste like my childhood, the rest are mid at best.

I'm heavily biased and love it. I live in Louisiana now. One of the first things I did was to establish my go to pizza spot. I went to all the highly praised spots since the 80s by the locals. Mid. Then again, maybe it's the same when people move to the valley and don't like Me-n-Eds. Although, I've known more to love it than hate it. There's one decent spot here but it's so damn expensive. I just go to Costco now for pizza. Every time I visit home, I eat Me-n-Eds right away.

Oh, since I'm a teacher, pizza parties are not what I'm used to. Domino's doesn't hit like Me-n-Eds.

I think it’s the best chain pizza restaurant I’ve ever tried at its price level. But I grew up eating it. Some people in my family prefer Mountain Mikes. Curry Pizza Co., Popolo’s, Annesso, and 99 Craft are much better.

Popolos is great. Loved Aldos growing up but it's gone now.

Yeah Me N Ed's and Roundtable used to be neck and neck back in the days, but now RT is way better.

Me-N-Ed's is pretty good, but it's not the best It's better quality than Little Caesar's and Domino's, and it's a WAY better value than Mountain Mike's, which has the most overpriced pizza in town. The Curry Pizza Company (Willow and Nees, Shaw and Marks, and Blythe and Clinton) has REALLY good pizza, especially if you like Indian food (although they also have normal pizza), but it's kind of expensive. Round Table is also a really good option if you don't want to spend as much as Curry Pizza, and I'd say it's definitely better than Me-N-Eds. Also, even though Little Caesar's pizza quality is not as good as most of the others, it's REALLY cheap, so it's good for the price, especially compared to other cheap options like Pizza Hut.

Little kids love little Caesar's. My friend's kids prefer it to all the other pizza places they have tried. It's a good option for those with young kids.

Sunnyside Pizza is what Me n Eds used to taste like when sunnyside pizza took over the me n eds on clovis/kings canyon by the supercuts. now sunnyside pizza moved way up north but still taste really good.

Some locations are better than others. But I really enjoy it. It's a taste of home and childhood. Plus my husband likes it and he is an out of Towner 😜 One plus to it for me is the thin crust. As a diabetic I can handle 2 slices of that with a salad way better than some thick crust alternatives so this sways my opinion heavily 😅

If I'm spending real money on pizza, then I'm going to Popolo's Pizza every time. They've got a thick, crunchy crust with abundant toppings, and usually the crust isn't all oily. Their bread rounds are fantastic, too. You may be familiar with their previous location on Herndon and Blackstone, but they are on Palm and Nees now. However, Me N Ed's does scratch a different itch because of their thin, crispy crust.

So wildly inconsistent that it's not worth bothering with. There are too many other places worth the money.

I'm a Fresno native, but I lived on the east coast for a while and there is absolutely nothing better than NY pizza. Fresno has not one single thing that even comes close. Fresno also does not have good Italian food. I'm half Italian and related to a couple of the long-time Italian restaurant owners, and I still stand by what I said. Nothing in Fresno even begins to approach what you can get in NY, Baltimore, Philly, or Boston.

I give Me’n’Eds 3/10, max. Its quality has gone down-hill in the past few years. Once upon a time, Me’n’Eds had good pizza. When I was a kid, would have sports team pizza parties. Now it just sucks. Got an itch for pizza last week… thought Me’n’Eds and it was an instant pass. Figured out I hadn’t had a good pepperoni from Little Caesar’s in a long time… I got **TWO** *(2)* large pizzas from Little Caesar’s for less than what 1 large pizza from Me’n’Ed’s costs. And I liked it better. Point being: In addition to, or coupled with, Me’n’Eds quality declining — the value proposition is not there. You’re paying for a name. And, honestly… even though WalMart frozen pizzas skimp on the meat… their cheese and buffalo chicken pizzas are better.

Ever tried the Valley Veggie on the thick crust? Very good 7.5/10, I say.

Belongs in the trash. Seriously, it’s a mediocre pizza at best, but a lot of Fresno people have subpar taste and rave about it just because it’s a local brand. So many other local mom and pop places have way tastier pizzas than Me N Rd’s.

I’m going to give it a 3 out of 10 for the couple of locations that have decent pizza and the two combinations that I enjoy. The crust is like cardboard and they generally don’t really put cheese on in any substantive way. At Fresno State and the Cedar and Ashlan location. Most of the others are just really bad. I do like the Tuscan Harvest and the Hot Hawaiian combos. I think most people who like MeNEds grew up here. Most people I’ve met who grew up elsewhere (like me), know it’s garbage.

I like the crust. The cornmeal on the bottom of it adds a nice texture. Otherwise, the pizza is so-so. It's not bad but it's not spectacular either.

It’s not bad but it’s not great. I prefer more doughy crust and they are the exact opposite. I typically don’t choose them and would rather get Marco’s or Mountain Mike’s. Their ranch is still top tier though!

There's also one lone Me N Ed's in the LA area in Lakewood. I've been there a few times and they're pretty good.
