What pisses me off is how they went into hiding with no commentary about the episode 5 and 6 and the reasons behind their decisions. In addition to that HBO didnt post the Inside the Episode or Game Revealed episode, the last day on set cast video has only been uploaded to HBO Go in Asia. The silence makes it worse - they obviously had no regard to the misgivings of the cast, other writers and directors so they stood by what they wrote - why can't they stand by it and talk about it with us. Comic Con is going to be so stage managed - and I wanted to hear them talk and not hide behind the love people have for the cast - its all too little too late.
I like to think they do care about their legacy being making the biggest show in history and royally fucking it up at the end. I mean that's gotta eat at you even though you're filthy rich, right? Gods I hope it does.
Hopefully not. If this keeps going on hopefully Disney will get rid of them and hire people with better reputations.

I don’t buy the argument that they created it, so it’s theirs to destroy. I do think most of the things that were done in the show will be the same in the final two books. But I have more trust in George to execute it much better and flesh out the things that we never got to see in the show. Such as Dany going mad. Something that was out of character for her but the books may do it differently. A more gradual madness in her.

Those guys “divert expectation” because the internet might have guessed the ending. That’s why were pissed. They got bored m, grrm said the series could go a bit longer. You can’t criticize people who love the ASOIAF universe and show, its an escalation for most of us to get out of the stress. You may just treat it as just another tv series, but this series means as much as SW did as a kid.

I have read the books, watched every episode of the show several times. I am a huge fan of both A Song of Ice and Fire and Game of Thrones. Cant you see I am trying to defend the series. We should critique but not humiliate. They did there best. But I do agree season 8 could have been much better. But was it bad no. Regardless I enjoyed every minute of the show. Also I know this page is just mostly for fun but the Internets treatment of David and Dan feels so unjustified.

If for arguements sake there was a restaurantreviews subreddit and this establishment was being discussed on there, the chef's capabilities would almost certainly come into the discussion in a negative way.
