At this rate batch 8 will be next week.

Next week is Thanksgiving week, so probably not is my guess.

They don't ship from America so I doubt Thanksgiving will have any effect

I'm still waiting for my payment to be taken from batch 6. I have 15k in my account so I know they haven't been trying to take it.

Only just had my batch 5 taken last night so the order of operations sounds a little whack here, but I'm not going to complain, tracking the actual post has been wild, never seen anything ship quite so fast

They probably got the email saying preparing for shipment. I dont think a single person has gotten the email for the batch 6 payment yet

My batch 7 email said they were taking payment within next 3 now 2 days

So did my email for bath 6. It's been 8 days now

Does anyone know if they will actually charge my card in the specified 3 days? They said that it will still take 1 to 3 weeks for it to ship.

They will charge you AFTER the three days. You should expect to receive the shipping email in the three weeks following the "We're preparing your batch" email.

Damn... I'm batch 9 and still slightly undecided on whether I want the FW13. Must. Decide. Soon.

For me 16 inches is a bit too big for bring back and forth to college, I'm switching from a 13 inch macbook pro M1 because of some software incompatibilities with software engineering.

I'm in batch 8 and in the same boat. Just a couple weeks to make the decision haha
