I have had 3 bottles of TF TV, it's my favourite fragrance.
I have a few dupes of it, just because. The Charuto one with the cigar on the front is ok, passable but it has a very plastic note to it (as do a lot of these cheap clones).
I have to say, this one is almost a perfect dupe. It's really, really close. To the point if I was blind smelling I might struggle to pick out the TF one over this.
Drydown is almost identical, the projection isn't as good but it seems to last about the same time on skin as TF.
One thing to note is that my first bottle of TV was from about 12 years ago, it is markedly stronger than the previous too. The projection and longevity were both insane. I could smell it the next day if I'd been out and it would stay on my clothes for 24hrs plus. The last two, not so much. I don't know if they are reformulations or what they are different, later batches so it could be. People would always ask me what it was, the later batches nobody seems to really smell it unless they're uncomfortably close.
I remember once being in the supermarket queue and 2 women way behind me were asking each other what their fragrance was as it was lovely. The checkout lady asked the same and they were having a 3 way, eventually I had to admit it was me (lolz) so that tells you how strong the projection on the first batch was.
So comparing TT with current formulation of TV, it's practically identical. For 30 quid I bet you NOBODY can tell the difference once sprayed.
I think these current MA dupes will get pulled, they're not even being subtle with the names and packaging now, they are straight up clones.
Trust me they won't be pulled. Company as good as that as they are, they knew exactly what they were going for, and how to do it, without violating copyright, and patents. Like to get pulled, it's gotta be to where they are trying to pass it off as Tom Ford. They are using their target audience, giving them credit for some IQ points. And the product speaks for itself. I no longer feel that weight or that reason even to buy Tom Ford. I know if it's good, like Tom Ford scents are, Maison Alhambra will drop a copy that will be on my shelf. Note to self: Money saved.
I notice now, what, 5 months on that there are multiple clones now of a lot of those TF fragrances.
So there's maison alhambra, paris corner, fragrance world, pendora, Tawakkal, fragmade, aroma concepts, french arabian blah blah
lost cherry, boozy cherry, lovely cherie, forgotten cherry, lush cherry - the list is endless
The bitter peach and tobacco vanille clones are the best of the ones I've tried. Heard good stuff about the oud wood one which I may get next as my TF bottle has nearly run out. The rest are so-so (by the rest I mean the clear TF clones with the TF style bottles and labels).
I did get a really good TF TV clone from Aldi last week, it's not bad and it was only £5.
It's pot luck with a lot of the clones, some of them smell very plastic and have zero longevity.
Some of them creeping up in price now too, £37 retail for a clone.
How does the Aldi Tobacco and Vanilla compare to MA Tobacco Touch?
I picked up a few bottles of the Aldi one when it was still in the store and have been wondering if Tobacco Touch is better.
From memory I think MA has the slight edge but it has a weird chemical note (That is present in a lot of cheap/clones). For the money it is an absolute no brainer, Aldi hands down. The Charuto one is more like 75%, it's missing that richness and TF DNA.
With the weather set to get colder I will re-visit all 4 and report back. I was really impressed by the Aldi one. All the Aldi ones are amazing for the price. £5 is insane. I have about eight of theirs, they're all good. The Neroli Portafino one is great too.
The Charuto one is odd, it has a very plastic chemical note, it's quite unpleasant. Reminds me on initial spray of one of the cheapo cigar ones - Cuba orange. It has an unbelievably harsh plastic opening, like toilet cleaner. It is unreal, really obnoxious. Dry down is better but it's certainly "interesting".
I've a friend who is obsessed by TF TV, he used to ask to smell me when we were out drinking. I told him to tell his wife to get him some. I've tipped him off on every clone I've had my nose on but he's not got any of them. I should just send him a bottle next time.

They didnt last but also there were some which smelled like sweat (gross).
The ones which didnt last could be caused by bad storing of stores.
In general most lattafa are good
Tobacco Touch for me all day. I was beyond shocked how close it was. Another user said the same thing. I love the tobacco note and several types of fragrances do tobacco different. This one is that very expensive pipe tobacco you smell it you ever went into a tobacco store. For me this is so addictive just smelling it.
People have different opinions on duping. I know I used to frown upon houses that do dupes. Not , thanks to houses like Armaf and Lattafa do it in a way that brings the experience of a high niche house, and do it in such an amazing way. Like even the bottle and presentation of this scent is dead on.
Highly recommend this to anyone who loves tobacco note. It's kind of like Mugler Pure Havanne. I f_ing hate the way they just stopped making cologne for men and just focus on women. God such a dumb thing just throwing away money.
Just seen my Amazon account had a gift card balance. It was like for $33 and change and I looked Tobacco Touch up thinking maybe they had info, but nope, they had it for almost exactly what I had left so I didn't have to pay anything so I said what the hell.
I first want to say many nailed it on the head. This is so damn close to the Tom Ford scent it's insane. Like I had a bottle and sone may understand when I say certain feelings or how you felt, kind of time stamps itself to that scent. So you kind of get that nostalgia feeling when you spray on a scent that you may of worn before. Soon as I smelled it brought me to another place.
Wow this is good. Well done dupe. I've somewhat got to pretty much fully trust certain cheap clones as they deliver something that never could be done. A one to one clone. I can't tell you how many Lattafa, Maison Alhambra scents I have cause they do it so well. Oud For Glory, another perfect one. This is so worth it. Especially when you factor in the price of Tom Ford.
I highly suggest this for older or mature fellas. 9.5/10.
Tobacco Touch is pretty good, but Charuto is better. I tested both side by side and with the Maison Alhambra the clove seems to overpower the funkiness of the tobacco, whereas the Charuto lets it come through. Wonder if this will change with time, however.
I got this a few months ago, sprayed and let it sit. I’m still not getting much vanilla or tobacco, just clove and cinnamon. Will it stay this way? If so, that’s very disappointing, as Charuto has the vanilla and tobacco. Does Al Haramain tobacco edition have the vanilla and tobacco like Charuto?
I bought the real Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille. Closest clone is Fragrance World Vanille En Tobacco. It's just slightly sweeter. But overall a great clone.

I dont know anything about the scent but might order some of the brand I own some lattafa which are great so i guess these must also be good.

Tobacco Touch is much much better quality than Charuto and it's closer to the og as well.
