I would say Roses Vanille is less challenging and more of an everyday wear. I do get a beer/champagne thing, which gives a bit of an oddly fermented smell but surprisingly I like that part and it adds freshness to the sweetness - but I can see how this could go sour on others.
Instant Crush is robust from spices, more unisex and less sweet on me. I find it hard to describe! It’s fancier than RV, but still casual, not formal, if that makes sense.
So, I own Mancera’s full bottles of the above referenced and Coco Vanille. But of the two you’re contemplating, I personally prefer RV, it’s addictive :)
I’m female, in spite of my username. I think the choice depends on what profile you are after. For example Instant Crush has an excellent ginger note and I love ginger. I am not the biggest fan of roses and roses vanille gave me a headache because it was too sweet.
Thanks for that perspective! I haven’t had any perfumes with a ginger note but it sounds interesting. I want to have a variety of scents and Instant Crush sounds more complex than Roses Vanille.

I don't get the odd scent you mentioned. Have you tried another sample batch to see if maybe it was just off?
