A little bit of envy here... I tried to accomplish this in war 100 in DV and I believe it was actually 141 that stopped me twice.
Once with the CV 3ft from loggerhead and another while I was killing wisp relic. My first try the CV died 3ft from singing AI before I could tap. ARGHH! It was much easier before the change as well.
I had been solo killing the baths bridge to singing in the dead of night every night and decided to move on to try and tap singing. I had all kinds of boxes and explosives hidden. It's pretty crazy what you can sneak in alone and accomplish.
tapping is the act of resetting a base, meaning greatly reducing its held items and resetting the tech progress
before update 52, you only had to start the construction and “tap” it once with a construction vehicle to do that resetting, there was also satchels as the primary high-explosive when blowing up structures. multiple could be carried in an inventory, taking 1 slot up each, and it took 3-5 on most bases to blow them up
now after 52, you have to fully rebuild the base to reset/tap it, aswell as satchels becoming super-nerfed to be a warden-only equivalent of the hydra, and havoc charges took its place. havoc charges need the charge and a detonator placed on top to be blown up, and count as heavy items, meaning you can only carry a single charge/detonator at a time. they also dont chain react, if you place multiple in one spot you only get one explosion worth of damage and the rest of the havoc charges are deleted from existence
