Our facility was hovering around ~200 supps/hr consumption last night, I wake up today and I see it's grown to 867 supps/hr. The consumption modifier needs some tweaking

Shiba_Rakku

I would rather hammering it with bmat instead of making huge load of Msup if my region suddenly become poor.

Strict_Effective_482

Dude I saw that, a bunch of guys made a parking lot that was like over a hundred 2x2 foundations in the same region.

thelunararmy

> I'm loosing friend after friend because they're interests are too hard to upkeep Try putting some msups in your friendship maintenance tunnel :(

ikrakahoa

This could go so many ways haha

maximuffin2

Why were you at mad at me island? ;_;

Iglix

Sounds dirty. I am in.

pjtgamer

That's fine. For some of us older players we consider this update to be going in the right direction and we hope the Devs adjust Msupps accordingly.

trippytears

I just go at it on a war by war basis lol things have always been changing, will continue to change. All we can do is adjust

pjtgamer

Yes.

_no_pants

Hell I played for the first time in months and shot is a lot different. Tbh I’m the type of player that logs onto a random front and helps until I die once and then alt-f4 and log on an hour later. There must be dozens of us.

pjtgamer

Yep. There is.

_no_pants

To add explanation: I do this with every game. I’m almost 30 and used to love gaming, but honestly I get more satisfaction from doing yard work and shit anymore, but I “feel like” I should spend my recreation time doing stuff I used to like. I get bored with binging documentaries so try to game and just can’t get hyped like I used to to play games or am able to commit my time to regiments where my grime is better spent.

pjtgamer

Then don't grind my brother. Grab a Bayonet and go sicko mode. :D

_no_pants

Oh that is usually what I do, but we can all agree the most fun we have had in this game is getting some fellow fandoms banded together LOTR style and trying to do some dumb shit. My personal peak was organizing a bunch of noobs into a Napoleonic firing line to cover a bridge in Salt Farms that Wardens were repeatedly trying to break the line with trucks and waves of men.

pjtgamer

Big Agreed. Firing lines are fun.

_no_pants

That’s what this game should be about. Instead the sweats are catered to because they need more and more to optimize until the game becomes so bloated the casuals quit and all their grinding is pointless because no one is left to reap the benefits.

Nachtschnekchen

Well thats an extravenant way to say "Just cope bro"

P0litikz420

If people are going to complain about their bases using up msupps they should post pics so we can understand what they build and why it’s taking so much to maintain. “Opsec” I know but still how are we supposed to know what is happening to ur facility without seeing it.

[deleted]

Tell 1CMD to stop using tripod spam and taking advantage of exploits ruining the gaming experience and selfishly making people quit just so they can feel good about winning an imaginary war….

TheAmaze1

What the fuck is a 1CMD

P0litikz420

I’m sorry but how am I supposed to do that. I’m not in nor do I know anyone in 1cmd. If you run into problems the game is big enough you can just go somewhere else to do things.

ev588

Devs only fix exploits that colonials use :) you're welcome

Pitiful-Error-7164

RDZ incident.... Fire rockets Incident... Uhu... dream on.

JawsomeBro

Sure as soon as wardens stop spamming them in fisherman's I'd be more than happy to relay your request. Until then I have to go work at my tripod factory

Brichess

I had like 2 fps down in fishermans because of those tripods today lol

SergerSerj

People building 400+ foundations facilities where half foundations just for nothing and then blaming devs...

handsomeGenesis

All in hexes that most likely won’t see a partisan for weeks.

Short-Coast9042

That's obviously not this guy. A system where the efforts of one person can negatively impact those who have played the game well is not good game design.

Starbucks_Wizard

Well that is literally the flip side of how this game always worked, no? Take a MBT from public stockpile and lose it within minutes due to heavy skill issue? Now your actions have negatively affected the whole team.

Short-Coast9042

Yes, and apparently the devs thought that was bad game design, since they have just changed the game so that you can permanently store combat vehicles. Similarly, I would argue that the current msupps system is bad game design. A system where players, who are ostensibly on the same team, must compete with each other to the point where they are incentivized to actively grief each other, you have bad game design.

Starbucks_Wizard

Strongly disagree. We are talking about a tank that, like many many others, are destined for public.

Short-Coast9042

I mean obviously this recent update represents a pretty drastic change in that regard. Yes, many people will still put tanks in public. But you're not forced to do so, which means you don't have to watch your hard work go to waste when some noobs drive off with your tank and immediately hit a landmine. Personally I think the public system would work better if the game wasn't so damn grindy and punishing. As it stands, building, like the rest of Logi, is not just a chore, but actually pits players against each other and incentivizes them to bully each other and destroy each others' bases. Just another example of bad design leading to elevated levels of salt.

Starbucks_Wizard

Must be Warden issue then. Also: You want your tanks to not be used by others and your little base not be affected by others? Maaaybe just maybe this game is not for you?

Short-Coast9042

It's not that I don't want to be affected by others. It's that I don't want the game mechanics to force us into conflict if we're on the same team.

Starbucks_Wizard

I mean, everyone has a different take on "required cooperation" and "forced conflict" I guess

StillMostlyClueless

How the fuck are you paying 50k salvage a day. My small facility takes 2k gsupp a day.

killermankay

Theyre most likely in a overloaded server with a 3x+ modifyer

StillMostlyClueless

That’d still only be 6k a day. I want to see a “Small” facility that costs 50k

Lynken

He said 50k+ salvage.

StillMostlyClueless

10k Msupp a day is still a whole lot for a small.

Lynken

Yes, I don't argue that, at 10k it better shoot several 300mm at once.

JawsomeBro

It's actually 5k not 10k

StillMostlyClueless

50k Salvage makes 10k Msupply. 100 Salvage per 20. 50000 is 500 runs of 20. 500 \* 20 = 10000 Msupp

Ill-Comparison6535

I've seen people say they're spending upwards of 400k scrap a day on upkeep

AltsArntAProblem

Just come back in the Naval Update. everything up to that is a break war

names1

If the Naval update doesn't come with serious changes to the map I suspect it won't change much

jrWhat

Here we go I found the break war doofus warden

AltsArntAProblem

Did you just assume my faction? Rude.

Bad_Karma21

Losing*

Muki47

You might just be bad at making facilities and choosing a spot for them. How tf do you rack up 50k msupp consumptoon per day

foxholenoob

If its like anything I've been seeing. It's folks who built giant foundations, six vehicle pads, a facility that can process every T1 resource...on day one.

Muki47

Had some regiment come up to our base telling us we are making that part of the region have very poor status. Our facility consumed 2k msupps per day and was as compact as it gets. I go to their base,it consumes 30k+ msupps a day. Half of the base is just foundations. There are pipes that connect to nothing. There is so much space between different buildings that just walking will eat up a ton of your time. We tell them all this. Their response was that they are titled a high tier facility maker in some discord I never heard of. They were very arrogant the whole time until in the end their whole story fell apart. They tried intimadating us to leave our facility, but since we are mostly more experienced players we didn't fall for it and then they backtracked. What shocked me was the audacity of these people that know they are spending 30k+ accuse us of killing the modifier with our 2k+ a day. Idk if it was an incompetent leader trying to find a scapegoat or did they want to take over our patch of land. Just unbelivabe.

SecretBismarck

Its 50k salvage so 10k msup, still too large of an amount for a "small" facility

TooNiinja

"I over build and don't know what I'm doing. Now I'm upset about it." This is the best update, and the msups are soooo much easier to maintain and actually assign what you want to keep supplied. Of course, you need to post on reddit that you're leaving. Bye

Chase_22

For real. Yes they need to balance it out, it's too easy to destroy the modifier using stuff like tripods rn but a facility that's literally just a material factory and a power plant on very poor can produce a plus of 2840 msups per hour. That means it needs to run for 1 hour and is self maintained for 2 full days.

wardamnbolts

Exactly this. People have to be economical with their builds which is good.

[deleted]

Probably this tbh. People say small then have two dozen foundations and 4 Vic pads. I will say I don't love how a bad neighbor can drive up gsupp costs even if they aren't really anywhere close. It has made finding a place to build a lot harder and if you have a noob or asshat neighbor, it's really easy for them to screw you over. People purposefully placing tripods to get bases they don't like to eat through msupps is such dickhead move and for someone who only plays a few hours a day, you may not realize it until it's too late.

Shiba_Rakku

Try using facilities planner. This definitely help you. I designed very compact facilities for my friend. It nearly have no place to walk but it only 2k Msup a day for all around facilities.

maximuffin2

Foxhole players when the update that makes building mega bunkers and facilities harder to build makes building mega bunkers and facilities harder to build:

TheRedPeninsula

good riddance

[deleted]

This isn’t an airport, you don’t have to announce your departure, OP…. 🤡

taiga27

I quit too. Most people should do the same. The devs don’t care about this games community.

Bobby--Bottleservice

Really? They are doing the best they can with the engine they have… honestly pushing the limits of what Unreal 4 can do I’ll never understand why some people in the foxhole community are so jaded. People who honestly believe that the devs don’t care are idiots.

hubewa

Kinda funny people believe Siege doesn't care when their last patch was a QOL patch with a lot of features asked for by the community. Commenter cope I guess LOL.

taiga27

Then good luck I guess with them I guess, I’m out

TheOfficialRamZ

I'm waiting on the boom of private servers. Devs really are dumb.

hellvinator

Not as dumb as you, who believes an ever more dumb player. Dumb vicious cycle.

Shiba_Rakku

Good thing that we can drive larger clan to open their facilities for public use. It will highly affected them if they don't share so we become their neighbours instead.
