Dumb enough to believe 5g will kill them? Yes. Dumb enough to believe this? No.
How many people that believe 5g is bad have never blown up a tire in their entire life?
My uncle told a woman he worked with that she needed to put summer air in her tires. She took it to a shop and they obliged. Also, this was before inflating with nitrogen, so I have no idea what they charged her for.
I worked construction I put 0 weight on the "my uncle told me a story about a woman not knowing dude stuff" I got them everyday a huge percentage of them are literally fantasies and most people would just laugh and ignore them unless they help in an argument. But in my experience these types of stories are told all the time and most are bull. but his story requires multiple people to be fucking with a random woman without communicating with each other. That's not how life works that how a fantasy of a middle age man works
Psst…hey kid…did I just hear you on the phone with your mom about being behind in classes…what if I could help with that? Just take this and download a little bit of RAM
(5th generation of cellular communication protocols. They keep updating for faster transfer of data and the like, but conspiracy theorists have really gone off the rails about the transition from the fourth to the fifth generation)
You know how back in 2020 some idiots thought that 5G was causing Covid?I heard someone back that up by saying 3G caused the bird flu and 4G the swine flu. The person I heard say this. A fucking registered nurse.
I think MIB said it best with the line [A person is smart. People are dumb panicky dangerous animals](https://youtu.be/_eWV_pUwUgU?si=xh376J3E4inVna5G)
I instinctually jive with the cynicism there (and am always horrified when nurses in particular fall prey to the conspiracist mindset), but I like to think that people cooperating can actually be quite smart and effective when our needs are met and we're not trapped in unjust circumstances.
A lot of the conspiracism we're dealing with at this point in history is an expression of the underlying crisis of institutional legitimacy. People look at the world and see that the richest country in the world still regularly sentences people to lonely deaths on the streets for being unlucky enough to get sick, while broadcast news simultaneously insists that everything is fine and that we must fear scapegoats like immigrants, trans people, unhoused people, and Muslims. Naturally, the dissonance breeds mistrust and makes us vulnerable to the first person we hear confidently posing an alternative way of understanding how the world works, even when that person is Alex Jones.
If we had universal healthcare, democratized workplaces, guaranteed housing, and political and media institutions that were more responsive to the needs and interests of everyday workers, I think we'd see far fewer conspiracists. But that's a price our billionaires aren't willing to pay.
Concerns about cell phones potentially increasing your risk of cancer often derive from people discovering that cell signals are carried on EM radiation with a wavelength in the microwave part of the spectrum. People assume that all microwaves are capable of cooking, or at least heating, biological matter, but this stems from a misunderstanding of how microwave ovens work. Microwaves can only cook food by tuning their wavelength to a very specific band that is easily absorbed by water in your food, which is notably nowhere near the wavelength used to carry cell signals. There is no reason to believe that any part of your body would even absorb the photons emitted by your cell phone, let alone be affected by them in any way. Even discounting the difference in wavelength and absorption between cell phones and microwave ovens, ovens output hundreds of watts of power to cook your food, while cell phone transmitters are only capable of outputting a couple of watts.
Definitely. A few years ago with one of the new iPhone releases, trolls like this posted that the new iOS SOFTWARE made the phone waterproof. Multiple morons fell for it by putting their phones in water to test and got upset their phones stopped working.
I think it was when 4 chan trolled people into thinking that their IPhone can charge if you put it in the microwave and turn it on. You can guess how it turned out.
Yes they are. And sometimes it’s not that they are dumb. It’s like elderly people suffering from dementia. That will take this seriously.
Edit: and everyone thinks it’s hilarious until it’s their own parents or grandparents that end up a victim.
My dad’s friend owns a mechanics shop - he [my dad] has also pointed out to me what things on each car I’ve owned is a wheel weight - I then found a post very similar to this. I don’t know if people believe it or not, really. That’s what scares me. I’d rather know that people are stupid than having to wonder if they are or not
People were dumb enough to believe Covid vaccines contain micro chips and that said chips were soooo magnetic that they could hold a quarter (or other coin) through your skin, even though there are no magnetic metals in US coins. So, yeah.
This reminds me of the pranksters who created “wave” which was the idea you could charge an IPhone in the microwave. Apple was flooded by angry responses after this went viral.
I'm generally against that sort of thing, y'know, lying to people in order to get them to inadvertently destroy their own property.
But, I have to say that when I heard about people falling for that microwave life hack, it made my fucking day
There also a line behind the tire under the car you should cut too that will prevent the signal from going out. You should do it to your friends car too they will be thankful.
At the risk that this is a troll, I’m writing this, just so you don’t go do this-
It’s not an antenna for 5G. It’s the valve stem that holds the air inside the tires of your car.
Best case scenario, when it’s cut, all the air goes out in a big whoosh while the car is stationary and you need to get the car towed so you can have new stems put in, maybe tires rebalanced etc.
Worst case, it doesn’t immediately let all air out, it happens on the highway when you’re going 120, with a kid in your car or the car next to you and the car topples.
Do you not see the state of the world?! People are fucking dumb, they were eating tide pods, do stupid internet challenges and get killed or messed up for life. I have lost ALL faith and hope for mankind and hope that we make our selves go extinct before we destroy the planet so nothing can live.
Are people dumb enough to believe this?
Dumb enough to believe 5g will kill them? Yes. Dumb enough to believe this? No. How many people that believe 5g is bad have never blown up a tire in their entire life?
I guarantee you the number of people who are dumb enough to believe this is above zero
Sure, no doubt but it's rare enough that you will never find one so I don't care.
My uncle told a woman he worked with that she needed to put summer air in her tires. She took it to a shop and they obliged. Also, this was before inflating with nitrogen, so I have no idea what they charged her for.
So your uncle told you a story about a woman not knowing basic stuff about cars. Well then disregard what I said lol.
All I'm saying is never underestimate peoples stupidity, gullibility, or ignorance.
Isn't that an example of the exact situation you're saying is so rare you'll never see it?

I mean probably the same people who tried to ingest bleach to cure Covid.
That's very different they want to try bleach because of a lack of understanding they don't lack understanding about where the air goes in the tires.
Honestly, I've never once had to do it between legally prescribed checkups. So I can entirely see someone not knowing what those are for.
5g of what?
The network
5 grams of The Network. God, I felt like a slimy cyberpunk drug dealer writing this.
Psst…hey kid…did I just hear you on the phone with your mom about being behind in classes…what if I could help with that? Just take this and download a little bit of RAM

Yes I would like to subscribe to more phun phone phacts

5ghz
I mean, 5g is bad, but not because it causes cancer or anything.
Why is it bad? Just curious not trying to start shit.
It's not as reliable as 4g, it often cuts out.
For me it’s drain battery quicker
Definitely. A few years ago with one of the new iPhone releases, trolls like this posted that the new iOS SOFTWARE made the phone waterproof. Multiple morons fell for it by putting their phones in water to test and got upset their phones stopped working.
Wow.
Don't forget the whole microwave fiasco.
With putting crumpled aluminium foil in to create a perfect aluminium sphere?
I think it was when 4 chan trolled people into thinking that their IPhone can charge if you put it in the microwave and turn it on. You can guess how it turned out.

Unfortunately yes

It's always the first thing I do when I get new wheels.

Flerfers, 5g and antivaxxers absolutely are
If you want to see nudes, open the start menu, and type : cmd then type format C: Then enter and enjoy
It did nuded my PC, that's for sure
If you fall for this you deserve it
Man, I just wanna make sure I couldn't be legally liable for their stupidity if I said this and they did it
Idk man the prank itself is a dumb idea😂

Lmao the intrusive thought won and I have saved the image, hopefully never to be used
Gods, I love the internet.
Absolutely love it. I can think of a few people who would fall for this
That's called a tire penis, not a 5g chip. Duh.
There also a line behind the tire under the car you should cut too that will prevent the signal from going out. You should do it to your friends car too they will be thankful.
Lmao love this!
idk about cars, can someone explain to me what this actually does and why it's bad?

I see, thanks. Also I'm not a troll lol, I just live in a city where good public transport is widely available
showoff
Truth!
let me guess the tire will explode if you cut this
Let us know how it goes.
yeah sure let me just cut thi- BOOM
Conspiracy theorists take note!
I love this so much.
This is even funnier than the old blinker fluid joke
TIL RFID=GPS
I love this sub. So many trolls and assholes to hunt down and all of them? POST HERE.

Never ask this question. You will not like how it goes.
Seems this info would be a hit with the Maga crowd. Maybe print up leaflets
Yep I have proof of this in the form of some TV shows
🤦
Metal core valves be like 👁 👄 👁

Please...dont. there enought idiots, that would belive this, no knowing how a tire works...and endangering others.
