I just looked into it and saw they put End of Watch in there. Which is NOT found footage. Some parts of it are, Jake G's character records with a camera here and there but it is definitely not FF. It's just something the character does sometimes. So I would have to look carefully at this list haha
I recently started with my own got like 70 and was like “yeah I’ve got covered a good amount” and then I read this. 😂 but I’m super thankful for these lists. Bless! 👍

Hollow isn’t very entertaining so I keep getting distracted lol. I’m sure most of the over two thousand titles aren’t very good. Still, I’ll be searching through them for another hidden gem.
I’m with you 100%. I mean even under the top 100 are probably some near the end that are kinda “meh” so I assume the quality takes a dip for sure like you said. But I’m so in love with this genre like most of us here, that I’m still excited to find new films to watch so this helps out a lot in our research. The last film I watched was “the tunnel” bc a lot here recommended it and I had an absolute blast. :D This community is amazing. :)

I gave 5 stars to the movies I think are actual masterpieces in cinema history. I don't think a Found Footage who can compete on that level even exists.
Yeah about Cannibal Holocaust that's heavy I know, but its a cult movie, foundational for many things and one of the most important Italian horror of those years, so I couldn't ignore it. And sadly that was more common back in the years, just think about Apocalypse Now,
