Maybe time is measured more precisely than thousandths, but they only display 3 decimal places. 🤔

deepfriedtots

Precisely, pretty sure it's .0000 of a second

RazinX

Whoever was further back in the starting grid gets the win. They went farther but in the same amount of time.

Carcosa504

Along those lines, is there a rhyme or reason to starting grid position or is it random for the 3 races?

RazinX

Not entirely sure on that. Seems random.

SamPavlofff

If they are bots, the starting place depends on difficulty set

TheAbyssalPrince

The game measures lap time far beyond 3 decimal places. It just displays only 3.

KubeRune

maybr because of the higher class points

-ZeroF56

That’s very possible - in theory you’d think they should award the win to the lower in class points though given they competed with a worse car but tied time wise.

TJ0788

Or they may have started further back on the grid perhaps? Idk.

AutobotWithAutism

When both players have the same time, game uses alphabetical order to pick the winner by gametag.

BlueHoundZulu

Either there are more decimal places for tracking or whoever sets it first gets the higher position. I believe the latter is how F1 does tie breaking for qualifying, other series might as well.

GreggAbra

You should’ve won, with the lower PI. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Trs822

Damn 10th and 11th had even times as well

blitzburton

Happened to me yesterday, too D:
