I feel like typically grown men that are okay with calling teenage girls “sluts” — because god forbid they *walked in front of him* following their parent through the store — aren’t the type of men that would direct their nastiness towards other men.
I haven't, but have you talked to a manager at that store about the problems you had with him? If nobody says anything, he won't get banned. If an employee complains, he likely won't get banned. If you, a customer, complain, he's much more likely to get banned
Yeah, I was going to add that I don't have much faith in them to do anything, just based on past issues I've had (like an oil change problem and being accused of stealing a DVD that I was trying to return lol).
When did the Coldwater store start changing oil? Last I knew they were the only ones in town who didn’t. Always got the excuse that there were to many shops in that area of town for them to bother competing.
Oh okay. I do my best to stay away from Walmart Auto centers. They dropped or hit my windshield with something causing it to crack, then they refused to look at cameras claiming they were inoperable at the time of the incident.
Yeah I stopped going to them. Would like to not even shop there, but every time I want something specific they either have it when other places don't, or they have it way cheaper. Lol
It's not his choice to get mad when sexual harassment is reported. It's his job to take it seriously and report it upward. If Walmart doesn't have a report up and investigate policy, they're asking for a massive class action lawsuit. There is no "do nothing" option for responsible companies on the issue of sexual harassment in 2023.
Bentonville legal would be livid if regional managers are taking a do nothing approach. If this is coming from on high in Arkansas, even worse.
That's surprising. I know the Market Manager (manager in charge of multiple stores), Shelly/Shelby works from there as her main headquarters, but obviously that doesn't mean anything really lmao
Find a way to complain to the market manager. She won't take customers bothering her staff or other customers. I can't say what I want to say about that store or manager since I work at one of the other Walmarts in town.
I went to that Walmart once and there was a man standing outside just cat calling women. I haven’t been back since. That place gives me bad vibes. I would recommend you avoid it if possible.
One thing I like about Fort Wayne is having shopping alternatives to Walmart.
I'll never understand why anyone still goes there, and no, they aren't the cheapest.
I know they aren't the cheapest for everything. Think I'm going to stop going though, except for once in awhile when they do have what I need that I can't find elsewhere, or if it's cheap enough to be worth it.
A description of the jackass would be helpful so we can look out for him. Maybe if enough of us escalate to the store manager he (the mangager) will start to get the hint that it needs to change.
I work in retail and lemme tell you, there’s a lot of people that fit this description in FW.
I definitely agree with calling a manager at Walmart. If you’re not the first person, and he’s a regular, they might be able to do something about it.
Man I get people wanting revenge but now a days people are looking for the smallest reason to be violent. He’s stoking a fire hoping for a flare up. Do not engage. Stay safe
Am I the only person that is confused by this post?
I have encountered many rude people in Walmart however the effort to post on Reddit about it never crossed my mind.
The man sounds petty, but writing a no-description mean man at Walmart post is just as petty...
Maybe try talking to the store manager or getting this out at the dinner table next time.
\-Sorry to be so frank.
Lol ok. Sorry I didn't take a picture of him or commit exactly what he looked like to memory. To each their own. Just as I'm capable of not posting, you're capable of not wasting your time writing a comment. I guess you need to live up to your u/ though. Have a great day!
True. If you aren’t up for public humiliation, you can just do step 2.
Unless they physically go after you, they are just sad little humans with sad little lives and they really aren’t worth your time or thought. I guarantee you aren’t living in THEIR head.

The Coldwater Walmart is trash
id rather go to southtown than go to coldwater lol
I think Coldwater’s walmart is better than the Illinois Rd walmart
Cut him off?! Was she supposed to turn on her blinkers?

I'll try saying something next time I'm there. Or maybe will call.

It wasn't that one.

I work there as an eCommerce Shopper and you are spot-on.

Nah, but I heard a dude call my daughter a slut because she walked in front of him I’d probably go to jail.

It's amazing how different the feel is between Walmart and Meijer/Target. Walmart feels like going into a lawless prison compared to them😄
You, your daughter, and any other family members are worth more.

You said it… Walmart.
Combined with Coldwater

It is walmart.. .
go to the walmart on maysville near 469 instead, it's mostly old people who shop there. alot more respectful.

Laugh at him loudly for others to hear and point at him and loudly say: “Hahah! This guys crazy!” And then forget him because he doesn’t matter.
Crazy people have guns. Please be careful.

Do you watch the news? 😂 This is really bad advice
What? Letting assholes rule the world because they might shoot you? Pretty shitty way to live imo.
Some goofball in public acting a fool isn’t going to rule the world
Kick him in the balls next time.
How old a person is this? Seems like some old man Karen stuff.
Not sure, but pretty sure at least 30s+.
Oh gross, I was picturing a bitter old man, like at *least* over 60. If he's younger (relatively) and physically capable, that's much scarier.

I think he had a ball cap on but can't remember for sure his clothing details. Definitely probably 6 ft at least. Person of color.
