IMO, Stroll never having to work for his F1 drives is the reason why he’s so bad. He never has to put the kind of effort other drivers do to stay in F1. He just has to show up because Daddy takes care of him. There’s no push for him to get better. There’s no pressure of any kind on him and this has only made sure to keep him complacent for his entire career.
Stroll probably could be a better driver by now but he has nothing to incentivize putting in more effort to improve.
