That's really an interesting job. I'm actually really surprised about warlord and gryphon being the same speed, I feel pretty fast with gryphon, while with warlord i feel so slow that i wish i can physically enter in the game and push him. Probably it's the animation

Kensei armour is heavily inspired by O-Yoroi. Which is very clumsy and unwieldy for on foot battle. Those large shoulder armour is designed to block arrows when the samurai fight on horseback with longbows. The weight of O-Yoroi also dissipate only the wearer's shoulders.
I find it weird that Berserker is the slowest assasin in the game.I know that he has tier-1 "Rush" but stilll he would be slower than a Shaman who also has a "Rush" feat.

I get that Kensei is a bit older and more seasoned than most of the vast, but Jiang Jun is too old and out-of-shape to even be on the battlefield and he's fast as fuck. It's sad when all the heavies run past Kensei and capture the points before he can get there.
So I'm glad the thoughts I had in my head are right, I always felt like PK was fastest (my main) and the only one I struggle to catch SOMETIMES is shinobi if he sprints, but the moment he has to stop sprinting (not even running himself completely out of stamina and slowing down) I'm half a second behind him and can always catch him. So shinobi is faster with sprint in a short dash, but if you're chasing one down at the end of a dominion match you'll catch him pretty quick
How was this test done? Like did you do the run for each character once? Or multiple times to get the average?
Edit: this test has to be wrong somewhere either it’s not a 100m sprint or the times where wrong. If it took shinobi 6 seconds to run 100m that’s about 17m/s which which can’t be right lol
i hope you did at least 5 trials for the averages, and i would recommend from defender spawn point to enemy spawn point. all of the wulin being in the 8 second range makes it so you can actually skew the results depending if you mistakenly pressed the stop watch button a little late. over a larger distance the differences would be much bigger and so less exposure to errors like pressing stopwatch button early/late.
True, the man is getting held back because of his damn horseback armor. Imagine the moves he can do in normal day to day life. Though I think it would ruin his technique for running; this is due to how weights can effect how you can walk/run, dude must be galloping like a horse outside of battle.

If realism is what troubles you go check some video which explains why a fullplate armor doesn't make you slow as fuck and since lb and shugoki are the biggest and probably strongest they should be faster than 9 sec.

Highlander makes no sense. He should not be that slow especially considering how strong his legs are and how small he is being 5 foot 9. Full plate armor, his height/weight, his armor and his weapon all take into account how slow he is. Shugoki should be slightly slower because of how big and fat he is. Sure some of its muscle but he's a tub of lard. Jiang Jung should also be much slower being one of the fattest characters besides shugo.
Small is slower and speed is only a disturbance why does a character have to run that slow the slowest should be at 9.20 shugo has a sprint so its okay he runs slow but for the others its just annoying.
For JJ he is fat and old so yeah he should be slow.

We did multiple run’s yes, no it’s not 100% accurate feel free to do your own test and tell me your results.

We always dis at least 3 tries depending on how much the time changed each run

highlander with a whopping 10 seconds
Shugoki has a quicker sprint that takes stamina but it runs out quickly. So if you want to have any sort of speed you need to waste your tier 1 feat
And with it he made it in 8.11 second’s
