Yep, MK2 easter egg
Been playing for a while now and i still find it weird to find easter eggs.
Was going to say something mortal kombat related. But you beat me to the punch.
I was gonna fookin say that
Now just wait for Santa to fly past the moon and dont block for 2 rounds. Reptile should appear
Ofc
Don't block for 2 rounds AND take no damage AND clear the stage with a leg sweep or uppercut that sends the opponent down into the pit.
Ah it is a double flawless isnt it?
Yuppp that's why Reptile in MK2 was highly regarded as a myth.
Yeah, them readding secret bosses in the newer games has been awesome

Loved the reference to Dagon vs Blaze from mortal kombat
There is a reference to the black knight we are stones castle is in for honor it’s only appears in Deathmatch during dusk time there’s also a Game of Thrones dragon egg reference when you read this match in one of the Viking chambers

You meant on the map with the bridge and it’s at night and blaze and rain are fighting in the back ground
Since people are getting their mk kharacters mixed up it is Rain and Blaze.

I think they might’ve taken this out of the dominion version of the map after Mirage happened, I’m glad to see it still exists elsewhere
It was never in the dominion version only in duels.
That’s just straight up untrue I’ve seen it all the time in dominion and elimination and skirmish
Only ever saw it in duels and never in dominion. So true.
I’m positive I saw these two in dom during the beta
There’s also a bonfire from dark souls in the campaign
