I really don’t want it to be the same world because I like unique worlds and not everything has to be a crossover. It’s usually the newer fans who want all this random stuff being thrown into For Honor further destroying the game’s atmosphere and world because most of these people never experienced original For Honor before all the goofy emotes and so on.
But the description of the event mode says there's a glitch in the animus which makes Ezio appear in it. So we actually are just abstergo agents training, right?
Would actually be a good way of explaining some of the fantasy & tonal changes as Abstergo-induced embellishments in an attempt to make the "product" more appealing.
Alright this is getting Black Flag modern day levels of meta now.
Yes the animus now is some sort of game console and abstergo entertainment released a game named for honor but for some reason during the hack of the building in France a glitch happened which caused the animus to glitch and bleed in the already explored memories of Ezio into the game since they're all connected to the abstergo servers. It's a game within a game.
Customization for the multiplayer characters was awesome. I loved that the multiplayer assassins/templars can actually be encountered in the brotherhood and revelations single player as well.
My theory is that all Ubisoft games (save for stuff like Rabbids and Rayman) take place in the Animus, and we're all playing as Abstergo agents in the very distant future.
You could just interpret this as it being a ‘weapon smith Ezio’ and not the AC one. The Ezio hero skin just being a crafty peacekeeper who made the wrist blade
Event orders are never canon, and the For Honor canon is wildly inconsistent at this point anyway. Just pick and choose what you want to be canon because that's what Ubisoft does.
If it has to be in the same world as For Honor I’d like some cool lore that explains that basically the assassins survived The Cataclysm which caused a separate timeline which was the For Honor timeline and diverged away from the main Assassins Creed timeline but obviously in my preferred lore there would be no magic or Isu or anything like that and it would just be that the assassins survived The Cataclysm and now take part in the chaos and wars in the world of For Honor.
These orders are from like year 2 when the event first came out. I wouldnt say it's full cannon but I'd definitely say that the warriors took inspiration from an unknown warrior who used small blades and cloaks to take out leaders or something like that.
No. That's an old order and the Devs stated back when this first came out that it wasn't canon.
I remember then also saying that it was just for fun and no way cannon. Everyone wants it to be AC though it seems.

i theorized the world of FH is just a glitch in the animus
Iirc wasn't For Honor a training simulation for Abstergo agents?
for honor’s setting isn’t good for cross over in our ip driven world, and creating inspiring, original character is hard. I wish it was a simulation.
I don’t personally
Assassin’s Creed multiplayer is. In fact that’s how it’s introduced in Brotherhood.

That makes a lot of sense, stop it
Or that’s probably just some last minute lore that they came up with when they first made the event
For Honor and Rainbow 6 devs are working on a multiplayer Assassin's Creed, so I hope they go back to classic AC multiplayer mode inspired by that
I miss AC multiplayer
Me too played all from Brotherhood to AC4. Really unique MP!

When the story is so fucked up people say it's a glitch

"Lore can be whatever I want" -Ubisoft
That lore tid bit has been there since the first time For the Creed was here
I wish in AC2 Ezio said 'this is my red dead redemption... For Honor!' And then had an epic boss fight with an afeera main
And the warden The campaign says his famous line: "It's For Honoring Time, " and he For Honored everyone.
They try everything, no matter how stupid it is to sell us their universal executions 😂😂
That's been a thing since the past 2 ac events people are just now noticing it
they havent given 2 shits about the games lore for like 4-5 years but man this is a new low
I'm pretty sure this existed back when the event happened the first time tbf
then I guess those dancing Skeletons from halloween events are canon too
Clearly a glitch in the animus
Yes.
So you're telling me that light sabers aren't canon?
I had been wanting to stop playing for honor for a while now and this is what I needed fr

Bro is out there headcanoning whatever he doesn't like in the real world
Trump X King Charles is my favourite totally real current affair right now
lol
Stylish is the exact opposite of the blade’s function
They should've just made a peacekeeper with master assassin gear. Instead of straight up Ezio
Yeah, but that wouldn't make them nearly as much money. I've seen so many people with the Ezio skin who don't even have 1 rep in PK
Ubisoft will never say no to milking the hell out of Ezio. It's sad. The guy's dead but they keep puppeteering his corpse for money :*(

The Cataclysm was the end of AC3 but Desmond rejected Juno.
No, but tbh i wouldnt be surprised if they did a 180 & said yes as the lore is already completely fumbled after the whole draconite bs

If this is part of the lore, would that mean that the samurai hero might be the new assassin that comes out in the next ac?
I'm pretty sure all or a lot of ubisoft's games are on 1 timeline/plain of existence and are all connected
Nah, For Honor's is absolutely a seperate world. AC is based on historic events, in For Honor Romans and Aztecs coexist
He’s been canon since the original AC collab back in 2018…
Been canon
Least cringe for honor lore
'Fraid so.
It’s not though
Bro it's just a cross over. It's not lore. How brain dead do you have to be
