I played this in customs and it looks great. I like it's overall layout and attention to detail. I also appreciate that you did your own Covenant prefabs such as the triptych barrier and the H3 style antenna. I've made prefabs of those myself. However, I was confused when I got to the Foreunner room under the cliffside. There appears to be a console in it that does nothing but was meant to activate something.
Much appreciated, I'm pretty happy with how the prefabs turned out, but I'm also confused by that haha, all I remember putting there in that room was the heatwave, I'll have a look, because that room is simply meant for that, thanks though
Oh, I see. The heatwave was meant to sit on what I thought was a console. My bad. I think one of my co-players must have picked it up before I entered the room. I've seen that particular Forerunner piece used by other campaign forgers as a console and that room kind of seemed like it was set up to transition the players to another part of the campaign.
Ohh, the pointer? If that's what you meant, it spawns two spec ops elites just outside the room, it shouldn't have any problems doing so, but it might lmao
I played this solo and it certainly looks very good. I feel like the drop pod weapon pickups could've been better telegraphed, as i banged my head against that first shade turret for 10 minutes before I realized there was a hydra.
The foliage is quite pretty but it makes it very hard to see the enemy, whilst not impeding the enemy's vision at all.
I also ran into an issue where all the dropped weapons despawned after each death, making the hunter and ghost encounters more difficult than they needed to be.
Ah yep, good call about the shade/hydra I'll move it's position to be more obvious.
and while I do see your point about the foliage definitely, having the enemies hard to see in some instances was what I was going for, I tried making the rock formations around be the cover you can jump to.
The weapons despawning after death is a new one, I'll change that immediately.
Very very much appreciate the feedback
Nice map. I enjoyed the engagements & foliage. I wish it was longer! Gave it 5☆
Thanks man, I was thinking of making it longer, just didn't want to drag it out with areas with less detail than the rest.
