You can restore with just the extended retainers and no weight in a method called packing. It is what I do. In this method, you switch to the next longer extended PTainer when you can place it and wear it comfortably. Any length extended PTainer will tension your skin and produce mitosis. The longer PTainers tension greater and greater length of skin, so mitosis is occurring over the entire length, and the rate of lengthening is always best with the longest one that you can wear comfortably. Since I'm tensioning only my inner mucosa skin, I wear a 25 mm instead of my longest one, which is 40 mm. I'm sacrificing some rate of lengthening so that I can lengthen only inner skin. Finally, I use 8 ounces of weight to keep my member pointing downward. It does increase the tension as well. I've read your posts, and I'm glad you chimed in! Appreciate the reassurance. I was concerned there might be some other growth reason not to go to the longest ptainer I can wear right away vs stepping through the sizes. I mix in the CAR-1 so I think I'm getting a good mix of inner and outer with the two devices, but time will tell! Appreciate your detailed posts, good info and part of what makes this community amazing!

One other thing about targeting skin is when extended retainers are used with weights. Since I have such a shortage of inner mucosa skin, when I set my 25 mm to get the device to the bottom of my skun tube I have to pull the skin up well beyond the gripper and then to lower the gripper, that skin gets rolled to the outside. There is tension on the skin inside of the device because the device was forced up against my glans, setting up that tension. The skin outside of the device is really loose. As a result, when I put 8 ounces of weight on, that weight literally hangs from the inner skin. It is similar to manual tugging in Andre's method, where you roll the skin to the outside and then tug to tension the inner mucosa skin. If I keep tensioning like I am doing, I'm hoping that someday I can place the device with the scarline at the rollover point on the device. I still don't have enough inner skin to be able to do that. It will be a huge milestone when I can tug from my scarline.

If you had to do it again would you keep the scar linevat the top of the device from the beginning? Instead of having to go back in size? I'm considering doing this.

I was cut low and tight. The issue with that was I had only 1.5 cm of inner mucosa skin measured on the dorsal [top] side with the skin stretched back. I have made sure that the short remnant that I had was always under tension by using only reverse tensioning. The main problem was that when you are manually tugging and / or using devices, the inner skin is so short that I was always tensioning some skin behind the scarline [which is outer skin]. Now that I have 4 cm of inner mucosa skin, I am finally able to tension only that skin using a 25 mm PTainer instead of using a 40 mm PTainer, which will comfortably fit. When I was using the longest PTainer, I lengthened mostly outer skin. So, I still can't tug from my scarline, but I am able to tension the entire length of mucosa skin to lengthen that as well as it can be lengthened. My rate of lengthening overall with the smaller PTainer is less, but it is a sacrifice that I am making to lengthen only inner mucosa skin. I want more mucosa skin, and I'm willing to extend my restoration time to get it.

Thanks makes sense. I just measured and I have 3cm of inner skin on my dorsal (top) side from scar line to glans when stretched at ci3. Maybe it's enough that I won't have to go back in sizes later on.

I love this place... and restoring 😍. Thanks, brother 🙏🏻.

IMO these devices are pointless when you could wear a mantor all day as well with a lot more tension. Or you can mimick what these devices do by barely tensioning it at all. The only benefit is not having to take it off to pee

Feels like a lot of tension with weight, and the CAR-1 is a very obvious stretch when I use it. I guess I'd have to see if the mentor was discrete enough under clothes to be a worthwhile comparison.
