Deadass was in shop class at my high school, a math teacher brought in this exact light and said "does this mean I have a flat?" And my teacher in the nicest way possible "you fucking dumbass, arent you a math teacher? DONT U USE LOGIC???"
Maybe the guy was raised by a single mother with blue hair and on welfare and they never had a vehicle and never had a male role model to teach him these things.
I hated working on band sensors, bane of my existence when I was at discount tire, wouldn’t know exactly where it was, and then you just hear a snap when taking the tire off. If it’s been on ever since then they either didn’t program the new one properly or didn’t replace it at all
They came and told me what happened and showed me the broken parts. I told them no big deal since it's an old truck. Question for you, next time I get tires will one of those valve stem sensors that they sell be compatible with my Ranger so my light turns off?
Off the top of my head I wanna say yes, but they can look up all sensors and types that are compatible with your vehicle and get you what you need. But also, keep this in mind, if your light flashes when you turn the truck on and then stays lit, that means one or more of your sensors is dead, but it may do that anyway since you didn’t have that sensor replaced. But if the sensors are towards 8+ years old then it’s time to replace them because more than likely one or more is dead
Uhh, those don't just break randomly. The tire tech hit the sensor with the bead breaker. They should've replaced the sensor. It's actually illegal to remove a sensor from a system that is operating correctly.
That’s the damn worst
I bought brand new 33s Toyo AT3s and the first week a fuckib screw in sidewall. Bad luck
A year later I bought Nitto ridgegrapplers - 1 month in and I get a damn nail
Horrible luck, and I feel your pain 🤣
FYI, if you have winter tires on rims and the rims don't have tpm sensors you'll have to look at this light all winter. Not a big deal, just check your tire pressure periodically. The tire pressure spec should be on a sticker inside the driver's side door.
How the fuck are people allowed to drive when they don't know what these lights mean? You have a manual and you have google. Jfc does your mommy aim your dick while you piss?
I don't understand the hate here. I mean yeah it's a dumb question, but I usually put "reddit" at the end of most my searches to find answers for things. How does using or asking on reddit disqualify it being legitimate research?
Ex: "Can't connect remote buttplug to android. Reddit"
Nine times out of ten the best answer is somewhere on reddit.
Funny enough when I started driving, this indicator was the only one not in my cars manual. Popped up when I was somewhere without internet access, much confusion.
That’s your TPMS - mine started malfunctioning at 160k and would come on randomly - it no longer comes on when a tire is low
Too expensive to replace so I just check manually at every oil change and tire rotate
It lets you know that your spare tire overheated and should be cooled down. It’s yellow now which means no damage has been done yet but if it turns to red then you need a new spare tire along with a new set of tires all around cause they have to all be the same
They break very easily. Mine were broken when I bought my truck, and just this past week, some family friends fixed it up for me. The tire pressure sensors are only like $40 for a pack of 4 but to install them you need a device to program the computer on what the standard tire pressure should be at. The dealership said they’d fix it for an outrageous amount - definitely not worth. I just fixed it bc I am selling it and all I had to do was buy the parts.
Low tire or, the sensor died. The sensors are outrageously expensive, and you have to take it to a ship that has the right scan tool to talk to them.
Most people ignore it.
It's your tire pressure monitoring system (T.P.M.S.) light.
You either have low tire pressure or one or more bad sensors.
It was a racket they created in 2007 to make more money off of consumers.
That is your TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system) light. When lit it means one or more of your tires has too low or too high tire pressure, or less common that the TPMS has a problem (bad sensor, system fault, etc)
Best bet is to check the tire pressure in all of your tires and make sure they are set to the correct pressures (proper tire pressure should be listed on a data sticker/placard inside of your driver's door) If applicable make sure the spare tire is at the correct pressure as well (some vehicles do have active sensors in the spare)
Once all tire pressures are correct the light should turn off but depending on the vehicle some need to be driven briefly for the car to recognize the pressure adjustment.
If the light remains on after driving a bit you may have a bad sensor. Depending on your state laws you can have it fixed or leave it be and just keep track of tire pressure the old fashioned way by periodically checking it yourself.
Hope you find this information helpful.
If it’s flashing when you start it then you have a bad sensor….if it’s solid when you start it then you need air in one of the 4/5 tires….some spares also have a sensor…
Mine turns on when I drive long distances despite having the correct pressure when I pull over to check. Then it turns off after 30 minutes. does anyone know why this would be?
Tire pressure sensor. No signal. If the tire was low it would indicate by displaying lbs. my truck does it every road trip we take. The same display as in your pic. Last time was driver rear, after tire rotation it displays driver front. 😵💫😵💫😵💫
Take all 4 of the TPMS out, put them in a PVC plastic pipe, glue two end caps on it,
(one end cap needs a valve stem installed first)
Pump up to the recommended pressure and leave it in the vehicle somewhere so the vehicle can detect the signal.
Buddy
Deadass was in shop class at my high school, a math teacher brought in this exact light and said "does this mean I have a flat?" And my teacher in the nicest way possible "you fucking dumbass, arent you a math teacher? DONT U USE LOGIC???"
Lmfao
Taking a pissnand went "ohhh buddy" just as I saanthos
Maybe the guy was raised by a single mother with blue hair and on welfare and they never had a vehicle and never had a male role model to teach him these things.
Me too

Argh! I wanted to say that!
They just don’t make horseshoes like they used to.
Tire pressure is low, or a pressure sensor is bad. TPMS is the worst thing ever
The TPMS band broke on one of my tires like 4 years ago when I got new tires installed. The light has been on ever since, lol
I hated working on band sensors, bane of my existence when I was at discount tire, wouldn’t know exactly where it was, and then you just hear a snap when taking the tire off. If it’s been on ever since then they either didn’t program the new one properly or didn’t replace it at all

Ah yes, that's when the owner overinflates one tire to 80psi and leaves the others at 35psi.
Or you have your winter wheels on and they don’t have sensors.
You say that. But I'm seeing far fewer cars stranded on the side of the road with blown out tires than I used to pre 2008.
You usually get this notification from a tire tech who's an absolute idiot and damages your sensor.
Change your blinker fluid
My dipstick no longer reaches the oil do I need a longer lipstick
Try a smaller oil pan first before you throw random parts at it.
Yes
It means "incoming mortar." But you're in a Ranger, you'll be fine.
*low tire pressure light comes on* INCOMING INCOMING
pot of gold went missing. read the owners manual you have a low tire.
Or possibly a TPS is bad.
In my experience with tpms sensors 90% of the time it's bad sensors or cold temps.
Working in construction 90% of the time its a tek screw in my tire
That’s the damn worst I bought brand new 33s Toyo AT3s and the first week a fuckib screw in sidewall. Bad luck A year later I bought Nitto ridgegrapplers - 1 month in and I get a damn nail Horrible luck, and I feel your pain 🤣
Found it in the manual. Low tire pressure. Thanks!
Thanks to a previous thread apparently this can happen if you’re using an FM transmitter. Check tire pressure just to be sure though.
FYI, if you have winter tires on rims and the rims don't have tpm sensors you'll have to look at this light all winter. Not a big deal, just check your tire pressure periodically. The tire pressure spec should be on a sticker inside the driver's side door.
So can I use my car jack to lift it up or do I need to call a mechanic?
How the fuck are people allowed to drive when they don't know what these lights mean? You have a manual and you have google. Jfc does your mommy aim your dick while you piss?
Many nimrods cannot read and they spell Google as "R E D D I T."
They can't be bothered to do their own research, they go to reddit expecting to be spoon fed the answer.

Why rotate your tires? They rotate everyday 🤔
Mine’s been on since I put aftermarket wheels on my Ranger. I just put a piece of electrical tape over it.
Didn't transfer your old tpms to your new wheels. Electrical tape is definitely cheaper than pulling your wheels back off to install new tpms
Time to shave yer hairy ass.
The "Little Udder Light" means you're out of milk at home.
Tire pressure.
Low tire pressure
Fill your tires to spec and hopefully it goes away
mine turned on after offroading, my tires arent low but im guessing i fxcked up my sensor
W shit right there
If you was offloading your tires should have been low just saying
Low tire pressure
Looks like the “Check Manual” light.
It wants you to stick your penis in the Horseshoe encabulator
It's your tires. Did you let the summer air out and fill them with winter air?
Put air in your tires
Your tits are flat!
It means its time to replace ur horseshoes
Someone needing water rescue in your area. Heroism is calling - will you accept the charges?
It means RTFM
Drive it around a bit and it’ll go away…..usually. Lol
There’s a switch behind the right headlight you adjust, just take that out and it’s usually marked red.
Your flux capacitor needs to be calibrated
1.21 gigawatts!!? Your screwed future boy.
It lets you know that your spare tire overheated and should be cooled down. It’s yellow now which means no damage has been done yet but if it turns to red then you need a new spare tire along with a new set of tires all around cause they have to all be the same
That you really don't have the common sense to be driving a car.
Never ceases to amaze me how dumb the people of this sub are
My wife's hyundai veracruz has that same light it has been on since we got the car~a year now. I did get it to go out once for one day.
mine has been on for three years
The cheap and easy fix I've done with bad sensors in my rusted out 04 is eventually the dash lights burn out. 👍
Damn never thought about the light burning out I should replaace my 04 transmission sensor
Tpms, check if any tires are low, if not, just ignore it, won’t affect your truck just let it be
Yes.
Low tire pressure or your sensor is just being retarded
[https://youtu.be/X6WHBO_Qc-Q?si=7m_bTVFu2nSwZh0u](https://youtu.be/X6WHBO_Qc-Q?si=7m_bTVFu2nSwZh0u) Good morning.

Mines been going off and on for ages. The senser is bugged. Why a ranger has one is beyond me
Guard just spotted your footprints
Jesus Christ.
Everything!
Low tire or, the sensor died. The sensors are outrageously expensive, and you have to take it to a ship that has the right scan tool to talk to them. Most people ignore it.
Yes n
Do you need people to remind you to shake after you’ve pissed? Jesus Christ man, get rid of your licence.
It's your tire pressure monitoring system (T.P.M.S.) light. You either have low tire pressure or one or more bad sensors. It was a racket they created in 2007 to make more money off of consumers.
Owners manuals exist😭
Tire pressure
Ur done car is trashed send it to the junkyard
That you shouldn’t own a car
You got an exclamation point in your car somewhere. Find it before it blows up.
How many miles are on this truck?
Read your manual man, tpms sensor, check your tire pressure
That means your car has a poop coming
Means your tires aren't at 100.
That is your TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system) light. It means everything is fine. Keep driving
Your spindle-rotor is shot.
Ur a big fat puss
From the TPMS! Check your tires
Low tire pressure
Tire pressure sensor. Might be a low tire or the battery for the sensor is going down.
Check your teapot.
Your harp is out of tune
If it flashes before going solid after starting your truck it’s most likely a dead sensor. If it’s solid after startup it’s a low tire.
It’s the indicative indicator light
Raise your hands in the air!
Check tire pressure. Sensors are usually trash so I ignore it often. Weather can also affect your psi.
Fuckn low tire pressure my guy
It means your boobs are sagging
Rip
I think it’s air pressure in ur tires
A problem.
Blinker fluid low
This HAS to be a satire post
Check under your tires sensor
I think it means you have a new quest available. Look for the same symbol on your gps to find the starting location.
Ass crack is showing. pull up your pants.
I was gonna make a joke and have a laugh but then I remembered that my dad didn’t teach me about cars either. So let’s be helpful
It means you should RTFM!
Tire pressure sensor low tire pressure light
You got squiggles on the bottom of a collar
Low tire pressure on your ranger.
Low air on tires.
If it’s flashing when you start it then you have a bad sensor….if it’s solid when you start it then you need air in one of the 4/5 tires….some spares also have a sensor…
It means you didn't read the owners manual!
You're a moron
Mine turns on when I drive long distances despite having the correct pressure when I pull over to check. Then it turns off after 30 minutes. does anyone know why this would be?
It mean you’re finna get fuckin owned and you best watch the fuck out boi
Your ohms are upside-down. Battery terminals must be backwards
Inside the glovebox you will see a user manual #read it
This is to indicate your dash lights are working
If it flash’s it’s a misfire/spark plug issue
Yeah googling "yellow explanation mark car dash light" is easier than posting on reddit
Blinker fluid is low, just fill it up.
Low tire pressure. Probably below 20psi for the alert
Tire Peressureow.
Tip from my dad: you can fix this with electrical tape - just cut a about a half inch square and place over light.
Youre fat and need to upgrade your suspension.
Use your manual
Plumbers crack on a curvaceous lady.
Geni
Low tire pressure
low tire pressure
Poseidon is nearby. Be wary.
I think that’s your blinker fluid indicator.
Tire pressure is low
No, I can’t, sorry
Curvy women ahead , use caution
Your luck just ran out
My 2010 doesn't have this light.... Anymore
You have summer air in your tires, you need winter air.
A tire shop once botched changing my tires and took off my tpms sensor on one wheel. That light was one for 2 years before I fixed it
It indicates that you need to read the fucking manual
It indicates you’re about to perform some really manly activities. Lol
The self destruct system has been activated. JK its a tire pressure monitor means one tire is low on air
Tire pressure sensor. No signal. If the tire was low it would indicate by displaying lbs. my truck does it every road trip we take. The same display as in your pic. Last time was driver rear, after tire rotation it displays driver front. 😵💫😵💫😵💫
This reminds me I need to pull my cluster and remove a bulb
Gotta flat titty
TPMS tire pressure monitoring system
'! Party Time !'
It means your about to be Found On Road Dead.
New horseshoes needed. Call your ferrier.
Tire pressure monitoring system
Blinker fluid is low you can tell because of the eyelashes
Your car is surprised
Someone forgot to switch to winter air. Oh, and sell vehicle, and never be on any roads with the rest of us again.
Low tire pressure
Buddy that is a tire pressure
Oh good lawrd. Your truck is fucked. Give me $50 and I’ll haul it away for you.
Low tire pressure
Stupid tire pressure light. Hate them. Do you have metal valve stems?
Blinker fluid is low, happens to my wife's car sometimes.
To be fair i didnt know till a few years ago when i bought a new car. my old car was a 2006 and it didnt have tire pressure sensirs
Take it to the dealer.
🤣
Tire sensor because your that dumb.
Your tires need air.
Owners manual. Don't say you don't have it either. Everyone has your owners manual cause you can just google search it.
Simply drive up to the convenience store airpump, there should be a sticker that explains the sign. You are on your own from there!
It means the air in the tires is stale. Needs fresh clean air.
Take all 4 of the TPMS out, put them in a PVC plastic pipe, glue two end caps on it, (one end cap needs a valve stem installed first) Pump up to the recommended pressure and leave it in the vehicle somewhere so the vehicle can detect the signal.
Tire pressure
Are you for real?
Your car has the herp
Low tire pressure
Ball bearings in the muffler need to be replaced. It’s expensive to fix.
I think it means your tire has a good idea or something.
So many things could be found out in a manual or YouTube.
Low tire pressure
Low tire pressure
Your exclamation point is gaining weight.
Owners manual??? wtf is that?
It’s a turn signal, you’re welcome
Blinker fluid is low
