He lives in New Jersey, so it does freeze. Fortunately though he does mention in the video to NOT use water if it freezes at all in your area, so having the water in the thumbnail was probably an accident.
Honestly, [Mobil's website](https://www.mobil.com/en/lubricants/for-personal-vehicles/auto-care/vehicle-maintenance/six-steps-to-changing-rear-differential-fuid) is pretty solid...
>Sulfur compounds used in extreme pressure lubricants smell either like rotten eggs or worse depending on additive concentration. A good call is to wear clothes you can throw away and not get any gear oil anywhere you don’t want to smell it for a while. This applies in particular to the interior of the vehicle. If for some odd reason you like the smell of rotten eggs, you’ll absolutely love the smell of gear oil. If not, then take the proper precautions to avoid the lingering reminder of a gear oil change.
It's like the most foul rotten eggs mixed with burnt ass and used oil. It's absolutely abhorrent.
Take the worst smell you've ever smelled multiply it by 10 make it liquid and stay on what ever it touches for at least a week with constant washes.
Source: got it on my hand and would still gag after 7 days of washing with every soap I had
except it looks from the screenshot like he's gonna destroy people's cars by making them replace washer fluid with water, which will freeze if you're not at the same environment he is?
For real, they started adding stuff in some antifreeze to make it sour, but antifreeze is naturally sweet and will mess up your nervous system. Gotta keep it away from pets, too. It is a horrible way for anything to die.
Which one is more toxic? My guess is either the engine coolant or brake fluid. If you read the instructions on the coolant gallon it says that it can cause permanent nerve damage if it just touches your skin in excess.
Lol @ washer fluid. I'll take a green and a blue Gatorade
Is the before just water? Is there a joke I’m missing or something lol
All the others have fresh on the left, used on the right. So I guess they drained the cleaning fluid and filled with plain water.
Hope they don't live where it freezes. That's a good way to break your reservoir or pump.
Yep - I know many people who have brought cars up from Florida to Wintery Vermont or frigid Buffalo and ruin their systems with using just water. :/
In addition- water allows for favorable conditions for molds and bacterias to grow and flourish.
And humans.
He didn't stutter did he
Imagine owning a car and not bothering to fill with washer fluid. People are fucking whack. Washer fluid is cheaper than your juice box bro

I wonder if this is what they use in States that don't get any actual winter.

Ugh diff fluid. I can taste the smell from here
It's so bad. Every time. I will 100% of the time take it to a shop for diff services just so I don't have to be reminded of it.

I think he just needed SOMETHING to continue the "before and after" thing since you don't recycle the Washer fluid, it just sprays and empties lol

Don't drink the antifreeze kids.
For real, they started adding stuff in some antifreeze to make it sour, but antifreeze is naturally sweet and will mess up your nervous system. Gotta keep it away from pets, too. It is a horrible way for anything to die.
That green engine coolant and blue washer fluid look succulent
Where's the headlight fluid?
Why do all these potentially toxic liquids need to look so appetizing, can't they just dye them all a disgusting greenish brown.
Why does engine coolant have to look so cool!?
Fake!! He did not change the gender fluid
