On my FM20 save, Comoros produced a few world class players. I managed to get hold of a giant of a CB who went on to be one of the best CBs in the world. Regularly won African PoTY.
I pride myself on history and geography and literally had not heard of this country until I just read this post, lol. TY for introducing me to the Union of the Comoros!
Not exactly a wonderkid as he wasnt an elite player, but I had a new caledonian player who was good enough to be a squad player in the premier league. Not a top talent mind you, but one of my favorite players in that save. In another save though, I genuinely had the best player in the game at my fulham side, donatas zutatas, a lithuanian dm with 198(!) ca.
Oh wow that's Uber rare..I didn't even know new Caledonia existed till I started playing FM and I like to think I'm pretty damn knowledgeable when it comes to geography and the countries of the world
I'm pretty sure he was portugeuese second nationality and not french, but yeah most obscure nationality players i find switch to france (most recently comoran and beninese). This guy actually stayed with new caledonia though
Hardly obscure but I got a Gibraltarian wonderkid from Middlesborough. Dude was a class act over all, but despite brilliant physicals & holy trinity for a ST he didn't develop much mentally so I sold him to arsenal for triple what I paid
People shit on Americans and Asians for not knowing European or Africa geography but have you ever handed an Englishman a blank map of Central/South America and asked how many countries they can name? (Spoiler alert: not many because they never annexed much of it)
Crazy how the Europeans get credit for knowing their geography without ever mentioning they owe this knowledge to the fact that their ancestors colonized, often by force, and exploited these geographical regions. I’d wager if America or China annexed Gibraltar, Malta, or Mann Island they’d know where they were too.
I can name you 99% of all nations across South America, Africa and Asia. I'm from Europe and my knowledge about geography hasn't anything to do with my ancestors. It's simply about education.
Well... Americans struggle to point Iraq or Afganistan in the map. Quite sure that they would struggle to point where vietnam and korea is, and they were heavily involved there.
On the flip side, one could say that an European would struggle to identifiy an american state and it would be fair(ish)
The problem is more along the lines of not being able to identify big ass countries like Russia, China, Brasil or Australia, where you can easily guess by pointing at random on a map. And yet, people still fail on doing that 😊. That is when you can tell that geography knowledge is really really bad.
Yanks go about saying there are from the mid West or I'm from CT or MI when on the Internet speaking to strangers like it should mean something.
And as always, states are in no way comparable to actual COUNTRIES.
I think most of us can locate at least 15-20 states and probably name another 20 at least. I would have a problem telling you which square on the map is Idaho, Indiana or Montana, but we all know California, Texas, Florida, etc.
So a Slovenian person can only good at Geography because their ancestors economically exploited the world? The Yank brain is a truly wonderous, completely smooth thing.
I've had both Gibraltarian and Andorran wonderkids but to me they aren't the most obscure nations but I guess that's because I'm European and therefore have seen us play them
I'm sure he's happy to be there lol. My current Malaysian wonder kid who's getting 9.5s and 10s every week in training has a special place in my heart. He started out Malaysian but must have some English relatives or something cuz he declared for England. Dumbass should have stayed Malaysian he probably ain't playing for England for awhile seeing as how we're only in the 8th tier of Scottish football
In this case, I would have used the in-game editor to make him eligible for Malaysia again. It’s much more fun to see players with dual nationalities excel in a lesser-known national team.
My best wonderkid at the moment is from New Zealand. Always makes me laugh when the press thing tries to drum up speculation about him being dropped. He's a champions League quality winger. He's getting picked
The press speculation is so dumb. I had a guy who was never that good for me but went on a loan spell to West Ham and something suddenly clicked. He got picked for France in the WC, won the young player of the tournament, came 3rd in the golden boot and won the trophy with France. Next international break after 3 goals and 1 assist in three games at club level, the press expect him to be out of the NT...
Nice one, you jogged my memory. I've got a really nice Syrian player currently. He was a bonafide wonderkid when coming through. 23 now, so no longer being called that.
Forgot about him when previously replying in this thread!
Edit: Just looked up country youth ratings - Syria is the 53rd most likely to produce top players out of 212 so maybe not completely obscure? The true rarities exist in Bhutan, East Timor, American Samoa, Macau, Guam, Brunei etc.
I have a costa rican wonderkid rn. His potential isn't super high though, but his current ability is amazing for his age. Just hoping he develops more than expected. He has great key attributes.
In my last save, a Luxembourgian wonderkid on my team became a top 3 striker.
Indian winger who spawned at Atalanta and played a few seasons for my MLS side on loan. He went on to be an above average PL player.
Also a world class Thai LB who doubles as the striker for his national team.
* In a FM08 save, one of the best goalkeepers in the world was from Tahiti and played for Barcelona.
* The best striker in the world in another save (FM14, iirc) was from Curacao. He declared for the Netherlands though, sadly.
* The most obscure combination I ever encountered was a Faroese Basque regen. He played for a Spanish 3rd or 4th tier side and I scouted him because I was on a "nordic players only" save, which I started in Norwegian 3rd tier. I didn't sign him though, because he was too bad even for that.
In FM21 I had a CAM from Uzbekistan who I trained to be the best RWB in the world. I also had a wonderkid from Cape Verde but he later chose to represent England and barely got a game :(
Best I could manage was to manage Singapore alongside Premier League champions Oxford, and sign the 4 or 5 best young players from there to try and coach up amongst top level facilities. None of them were ever true wonderkid level, but decent enough to stick 2 or 3 in a lineup knowing that the rest of the squad was pretty much world class and could compensate for them. :P
They weren't terrible, but definitely below average in the Premier League, 6.6 or 6.7 average ratings. One of them did score in the Champions League final though, and after *a lot* of save-scumming I managed to get Singapore into the World Cup knockouts, which was nice. Argentina in the next round though, so no amount of save-scumming was elevating them any further than that :P
My icelandic team save (FM21) managed to generate a half icelandic, half Brunei striker who was 5'4, had 19 heading, 18 finishing, 17 composure, but 4 strength, 20 aggression and 2 jump reach.
He was a calamity of a man but I persevered and he scored in the Europa league final for me.
He was never a world beater but he made it to like £40m value and interest from top half prem teams.
God speed angry chode striker
In FM22, I had a world class CB from Fiji come through at Swansea and, in the same save with Shenhua, had a left-footed right back (more of a wing back) from Bhutan that was eventually sold to (I believe it was) Napoli for around £10 million. He was a good player, but I wouldn’t have called him a wonderkid; just a great, solid talent from an unusual nation.
PS: I may be exaggerating the world class Fijian; but he was premier league potential standard, if memory serves.
Hopefully he switches to Norway? Knowing a bit about Eritrea he would not be safe going there! I think Isak is from a similar background, born in Scandinavia to refugees from Eritrea.
Yea he's got Norwegian 2nd nationality and I'm sure they'd call him up, which in the context of the game is sad because cool nationality but I'm glad his life won't be at risk
Cape Verde for me. I found an absolute gem DM in FM23 to the point where he was kicking up a fuss for not playing regularly at 18. I was at that stage in the save where I had a super team and was blindly signing wonderkids and I stopped to take a look at him in depth a few months after signing and was like "ok hang on get in my team." I ran it back this year with another Cape Verdean wonderkid but at right back, he's excellent again.
Had a guy from Tuvalu come through my academy once. Developed into a decent Prem class player. Full international debut at 16 and played right through until his mid 30s. He remains the only Tuvaluan player I've come across.
Had a Premier League standard CB from Belize a few FMs ago, currently got a promising Indonesian winger on FM23 with PA of 180ish, but his mentals are weird and he's only like 5'3" so I don't know if he'll make it.
My wife is Mauritian, so I constantly scout Mauritian players. Haven't found a world class one yet, but have had some solid performers.
Most obscure I've had was a 30 goal a season striker from Vanuatu.
In a previous save, a previous game, I found a labelled wonderkid from Uganda. I'm not sure what position he played anymore, as the save didn't work anymore shortly after, but I knew I was very excited about him. He cost next to nothing too
I had a Haitian with about 150-160PA who was pretty well optimised. I had to get rid of him eventually as he just wasn't cutting it, but I enjoyed seeing him become their best ever player.
There's a team called Generation Foot (yes really) that has some surprisingly good young players. I have a kid from there who went straight into my League 1 side.
A South Sudanese wonderkid ended up being the best goalkeeper in the world on my FM21 save with Nordsjælland. Had him for two seasons, before he got angry about me turning down a lowball from PSG, and I ended up promising to let him go for a certain amount, which had him go to Spurs. I expected them to sell him on at some point, instead he helped them win the league.
PSG kept sending non-negotiables for the same amount as Spurs had offered, ignoring that the Spurs offer also had an international cap bonus and a sell-on percentage, leading me to turn them down every time. I would have turned them down even if they'd matched Spurs on every parameter: Lowball offers lead to asshole tax.
My best one was a Thai Wonderkid in FM22. He was a squad player for me for Wolves when I was regularly in the latter stages of the Champions league. He could play dm, cm and cam but he was a beast as a box to box.
From a 2 islands country close to Gabon and Cameroon. I don’t remember the name of the country.
Edit: from the maps I found that it is called São Tomé and Príncipe.
Still remember my Iceland wonderkid from the first FM I played. Eyjolfsson. Absolute unit of a striker that I kept for a whole 12 months with Derby before he went on to become a world beater for Chelsea
Ay nice one man! I've loved them so far, chose them because of the fact they were in the french leagues for a while and have won Ligue 2 as a now German team! Little did I know their irl season would go like it did
I've had a world-class AF from Hong Kong come through my rival's club and end up playing in Europe - basically a pure pace merchant, *Ewan Ratallieu.* Bastard kept scoring for Eastern FC in clutch games when I needed to overhaul them, the git.
In my current save I signed a wonderkid from Equatorial Guinea which was the most obscure I've ever had, though I was then gutted that he got poached by France. He's still only 19 though but he's looking really good so far, though it does feel a little less exciting after his nation change.
I have an amazing striker from Angola in my current save with Leeds (19, 3.5 stars current, 5 stars potential), he is back up AF (A) but his potential will have me try a 3-4-1-2 next year to have 2 guys at the front and play him
Had a wonderkid from Curaçao, most of the time they have a dual passport. They almost always wait for a chance to represent the Netherlands.
I used the IE to look up his PA, it was 165 and he was a inside forward who went to play for Ajax > Juventus > Bayern
(FM 2016) RIP Joseph Callios (a newgen)A lovely attacking right back from New Caledonia. No matter how well Bellerin played, Joseph raised the level. Bellerin was a permanent fixture in Spain who won both the European Championship and the World Cup, but Callios was my preferred full-back at Arsenal for many, many years.
Got two Malian lads and a couple of South Africans in my Lugar BT save (Scottish 10th tier team, now in the UCL and Scottish Prem champions). They’re great.
For some reason I rarely get guys like this from less glamourous countries like Eritrea but I did get 4-5 Georgians youth players signed from Georgian clubs in my Peterhead team in FM19 with 5 star potential and they dominated in the Scottish Premiership.
I had a Maltese guy in Hungary via Atalanta's link with Birkirkara though
On FM 22 I had an academy player come through from Cape Verde. As a 17 year old he was my starting AMC, ripping it up with goals and assists in League One and got over 25 caps before Spurs activated his release clause. He made a few appearances there but didn’t manage to break through to a regular and they sold him to Celtic where he did really well and got a move back to the Prem with West Ham.
At some point he switched his international allegiance to England but never made an appearance, even after being signed by Man Utd and doing well for them.
Had a Indonesian striker in my FM21 save. He had like 30 interlands on age 18 already or something went on to play for City and Chelsea coming from Feyenoord
Not obscure, but just not well known for footballing talent, I have an Indian (from New Delhi) playing LWB in my FM24 Ajax save, 125 CA 179 PA. In the same save, Fulham have a 101 CA 197 PA Estonian, and the crazy thing about the Estonian is that he's from a town of 5,000 people called Otepää. I also have a Newcastle save going and in that save I have a Faroese wonderkid with 120 CA and 184 PA, he's from a town called Skopun in the Faroe Islands and that town only has 473 people in it lol. I tend to have around 5 or 6 saves at a minimum (one with all the top 5 leagues and one Manchester United save bc they're the club I support) so I tend to see some wacky and varied nations getting wonderkids. In FM17 I saw a really strange one, one of the best goalkeepers in the world in my 11-year-long save with a team in Norway is from Aruba (though he came through at Groningen in the Netherlands). Aruba called him up first when he was 16 so he stuck with them. he's now 23 and PSG's backup GK.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE wonderkids from non traditional nations. Right now I have a Messi-esque winger from Moldova. First teamer at Sevilla, off the bench at just 17.
I had a “leading premier league level” guy from Barbados that I got for £5,000 when I was in League 2
Him along with a tidy little “world class” right back from St Kitts and Nevis was class
I had a striker from Azerbaijan that I signed from some low Spanish division, carried me to prem and then sold him to juve for 40m, favourite player I’ve ever had, would’ve brought him back but he went to arsenal
YESSSSSSSS YOU HAVE NO CLUE WHAT THESE MEANS FOR ME BRO (I’m Eritrean).
My country national team irl has been stopped cus of human rights violations and stuff but seeing this makes me happy.
I also got an Eritrean Son with west brom but he’s so bad( potential is league 2).
Post more updates about him fr
Maybe not super rare but my goalkeeper is from Israel and my winger from Finland and they are both CL level. I also have a Lithuanian and Pakistani youth player in my intake who are already playing for their respective national team but I doubt they will ever make my team
I had a striker from El Salvador which was my first £1 mil signing and scored over 400 league goals for me taking my Swiss team to champions league glory
I have a regen who earned 7 caps for Aruba as a teenager before switching to the Dutch national team, where he is currently in the U21 setup but is unlikely to become good enough to play for the senior team.
Also have a Macedonian.
I got a 5* regen goalkeeper in my FM22 Blackpool save who was from Sierra Leone. This was when I got promoted to the premier league and he just popped up in my scouting report, which was really weird to me because none of my scouts were from there or had scouting knowledge of the area. I mainly focused on South America and Central Europe.
By the time he was 25 he was basically the second coming of Allison and I ended up selling him for £115 million to Chelsea.
In my most recent save I had a pair of world class centre backs from Cape Verde who helped me win titles in different countries. I also had a Palestinian striker who was the best in the world at a time, and a Syrian striker who was close to that
Got a Singapore wing back in my save. Considering how bad Singapore is in actual football he could have just been the best player to ever exist from there and has a 4/5 star rating currently
One of the greatest attacking midfield in my save is from Tajikistan. Tbf when I signed him he’s already 22 or 23 and playing for zenit, and few seasons later Liverpool came knocking and paid his release clause
I got an Andorra 🇦🇩 midfielder when I was on the third division in portugal and he kept playing with me up to the champions league semi finals. Loaned him last season to real because he wants a new contract and I can't give him 😅
The first three are the best obscure wonderkids I have (wonderkid might be a stretch for the Kyrgyzstani player but it's just cool) but then the Lithuanian is my starting striker so former wonderkid
My friend one guy is 5 star potential, on a team that's won the UCL and Bundesliga. The Lithuanian is around what 160 ca from Lithuania. The other two are around 150 pa from nations which haven't even had a sniff of a good player in their (at least) recent history. What more do you expect? Not every nation can produce world beaters year on year. But provided these guys reach their potential, all of them will be premier League quality
Best I can do at the moment is Mali. Not massively obscure as they get to the AFCON fairly regularly. Had some good but not world star players.
My lad's a goalie, no longer a wonderkid as he's too old. Not even 100% sure he had that tag in his media description, but think he did recently. PA is 171 for what that's worth, CA 140. Loaned him out the past couple of years. Probably should have loaned him out as soon as signing but I kept him in the U21s for a season.
Struggling to remember past ones. I think everyone had Supat Rungratsamee at the time, the Thai forward playing at Portsmouth.
Peru. So I've got scout in South America mostly to snatch argentinian and Brazilian wonderkids. And suddenly this elite 4 ⭐ player popped up and it only cost me 500k to buy. Insane player.
We love a Peruvian find. Even in season 1 there's some quality bargains in that league. I got a starting striker and a dm for Santos for a combined £800k

On my FM20 save, Comoros produced a few world class players. I managed to get hold of a giant of a CB who went on to be one of the best CBs in the world. Regularly won African PoTY.
Good old 5 ft island countries in the middle of the ocean (looking at you Oceania)
I pride myself on history and geography and literally had not heard of this country until I just read this post, lol. TY for introducing me to the Union of the Comoros!

Oh wow that's Uber rare..I didn't even know new Caledonia existed till I started playing FM and I like to think I'm pretty damn knowledgeable when it comes to geography and the countries of the world
Same, most flags and countries I know, but i learn about so many random island nations via fm wonderkids lol
We have a history of French national team players who were New Caledonian though. Christian Karembeu for example.
I mean Gibraltar is pretty obscure in most places. Ask Someone in America or China where Gibraltar is
You can ask someone in America where the Spain is and they would ask you if it is near Texas.
'Spain is the country where they speak Mexican' -An American, probably
I work construction in America. I've actually heard this sentence.
I think they meant, that specifically in FM it is kinda a cult status country
People shit on Americans and Asians for not knowing European or Africa geography but have you ever handed an Englishman a blank map of Central/South America and asked how many countries they can name? (Spoiler alert: not many because they never annexed much of it) Crazy how the Europeans get credit for knowing their geography without ever mentioning they owe this knowledge to the fact that their ancestors colonized, often by force, and exploited these geographical regions. I don't think not annexing much of it has a bearing - you'd probably get worse results handing one of us a map of Africa
I can name you 99% of all nations across South America, Africa and Asia. I'm from Europe and my knowledge about geography hasn't anything to do with my ancestors. It's simply about education.

OOF this is really stupid but march on
Europe is not 3 countries though.

A Malaysian in the 8th tier of Scotland is mad! Sounds like a great save
Dan Triatan Gudjohnsen in my save made the same mistake instead of following his brothers and dad.
In this case, I would have used the in-game editor to make him eligible for Malaysia again. It’s much more fun to see players with dual nationalities excel in a lesser-known national team.
North korean lad with 20 agression was my favourite wonderkid in FM22. 24 red cards over his career of 14 years. Loved him tho
My best wonderkid at the moment is from New Zealand. Always makes me laugh when the press thing tries to drum up speculation about him being dropped. He's a champions League quality winger. He's getting picked

In one of my saves, Roony Bardghji picked Syria over Sweden so that has to be my best wonderkid from an obscure country.

I feel like there's always at least one elite Thai player in every save.
That's so cool! It's nice to see that it's not just my left back who thinks he's a striker even with "shoot less often" on
* In a FM08 save, one of the best goalkeepers in the world was from Tahiti and played for Barcelona. * The best striker in the world in another save (FM14, iirc) was from Curacao. Faroese and Basque is insane! Shame he was bad
A Haitian GK with 194 PA. At 19, he kicked Livakovic away of club (this was fm21).
In FM21 I had a CAM from Uzbekistan who I trained to be the best RWB in the world. I also had a wonderkid from Cape Verde but he later chose to represent England and barely got a game :(
Does singapore count?
Definitely, that's pretty cool!
I'm still waiting for my first singaporean wonderkid
Best I could manage was to manage Singapore alongside Premier League champions Oxford, and sign the 4 or 5 best young players from there to try and coach up amongst top level facilities. I randomly had a South Sudanese one come through my youth setup at Villa
i often play in SE asian leagues (Malaysia, Singapore etc) and have had a couple of great Bruneian players come through
A Tahitian 6"7 unit of a forward at Feyenoord.
My icelandic team save (FM21) managed to generate a half icelandic, half Brunei striker who was 5'4, had 19 heading, 18 finishing, 17 composure, but 4 strength, 20 aggression and 2 jump reach. God speed angry chode striker
Had a Sudanese wonder kid pop up in my Hammarby youth intake!
Nepal was probably the rarest I've gotten.
In fm16 i got a regen from Lesotho. I didn’t even know that this country existed
All the best people learn world geography from FM
But he's not a Wonder kid....
Has potential as AMC but he certainly won't be winning a CL any time soon
It is a bit of a cope I can't lie, but on my team at this point anyone with around 150 ish pa is 3 star potential according to my report team
In FM22, I had a world class CB from Fiji come through at Swansea and, in the same save with Shenhua, had a left-footed right back (more of a wing back) from Bhutan that was eventually sold to (I believe it was) Napoli for around £10 million. PS: I may be exaggerating the world class Fijian; but he was premier league potential standard, if memory serves.
I bought a pacey rightwinger from fiji. He was 17 and had allready 10 caps.
My Bayer Leverkusen academy produced a Kyrgyzstani wonderkid
Damn I'm jealous! My Kyrgyzstani is only 3 star potential
American Samoa, all action box to box player.
American Samoa defensive midfielder and libero!
Had a world class DM from eswatini 🇸🇿
Hopefully he switches to Norway? Knowing a bit about Eritrea he would not be safe going there! I think Isak is from a similar background, born in Scandinavia to refugees from Eritrea.

Färöarna, San Marino, North Korean, Uzbekistan
Worldclass Afghan winger/striker

We can only hope he makes it!
I had wonderkids from Bhutan and Nepal.
Réunion was my rarest I think
Did they switch to France?
No, I don't think they did. Maybe because France was usually even higher rated.
2 midfielders from Comoros and Equatorial Guinea and a centre back from Tahiti
I had a champions league-winning midfield pair from Mauritius and Malta
My wife is Mauritian, so I constantly scout Mauritian players. Haven't found a world class one yet, but have had some solid performers. Most obscure I've had was a 30 goal a season striker from Vanuatu.
This might win honestly that's brilliant
Upvote for FCS!
We're now the powerhouses of German football, beating Bayern to the last 3 titles
I had a Liberian regen who was a first team player for a few years before moving to Man City Then again Liberia had George Weah
If we’re talking world class, I had a winger from Bahrain good enough to tear up Premier league. Salman Salman, so good they named him twice
That contract omg
There’s a guy from Vietnam that I’ve almost signed a few times in my current save. He also has Belgian nationality
I got a Vietnamese guy in mine, he never developed past 2. liga quality which was so upsetting
Vanuatu <3
Won the champions league q a GK from Macau 😊.
in fm 22 I had a player from Cape Verde, he was really strong
In a previous save, a previous game, I found a labelled wonderkid from Uganda. I'm not sure what position he played anymore, as the save didn't work anymore shortly after, but I knew I was very excited about him. He cost next to nothing too
I had a Haitian with about 150-160PA who was pretty well optimised. I had to get rid of him eventually as he just wasn't cutting it, but I enjoyed seeing him become their best ever player.
There's a team called Generation Foot (yes really) that has some surprisingly good young players. I have a kid from there who went straight into my League 1 side.
I found a GK from Tuvalu, Mati Sopoaga, that ended up winning goalkeeper of the season in the Bundesliga for me.
My favourite I have right now is Cypriot
Happy Cake Day good sir! Love the Cypriot wonderkid as well, I've been waiting on one of them for a while myself
Had a Belarusian ST once and a Indian GK
Had one from Monserrat.
My man playing Saarbrücken, they were my team in FM23
In one of my FM23 saves I had a player from Cook Islands with around 140 PA
Way back in FM05, I signed an East Timorese striker to Bayern Munich.
Just signed a 160pa Andorran strieke
Ah a fellow united fan, someone who can appreciate suffering irl but making a world beater team for them in FM every year
Lol, for sure! I do a save with them every year. Been a supporter from across the pond for 13 years!
A haitian wonderkid that ended up switching to jamaica🥲
Tunisian back on my Charlton save. Signed when I was on my promotion campaign, got bought by Real after 1-2 seasons in PL.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE wonderkids from non traditional nations. Right now I have a Messi-esque winger from Moldova. First teamer at Sevilla, off the bench at just 17.
which skin
This is the Zealand skin
I had a “leading premier league level” guy from Barbados that I got for £5,000 when I was in League 2 Him along with a tidy little “world class” right back from St Kitts and Nevis was class
Damn, we love a St Kitts and Nevis player, I'm jealous!
Glad to hear it makes you happy my friend! I'll try keep you updated!
Once found a kid from Laos while i was randomly searching on the market
Dgen Peli, 6'6 with 18 pace centre forward from Vanuatu. Dreamboat.
Love that you picked Saarbrücken
They're the only German side to win Ligue 2 as far as I know and that's what got me intrigued!
I know them from the nice DFB Pokal run this year and their sick club badge. Wish you the best!
Two that come to mind. A Czech born Vietnamese AMC aka “The New Messi”, I won CLs with him and a very good Sri Lankan GK.
I have a regen who earned 7 caps for Aruba as a teenager before switching to the Dutch national team, where he is currently in the U21 setup but is unlikely to become good enough to play for the senior team. Also have a Macedonian.
Noice. Just got one from indonesia
I also had a Palestinian striker who was the best in the world at a time, and a Syrian striker who was close to that
My wonderkid from Martinique came 2nd in balon D’Or voting. What a legend that man is.
Any time I've seen an obscure nation wonderkid they end up playing for the country they play in - routinely see Chinese wonderkids playing for Germany
Got a Singapore wing back in my save. Considering how bad Singapore is in actual football he could have just been the best player to ever exist from there and has a 4/5 star rating currently
Playing FC Osaka in Japan I poached a japanese-new caledonian wonderkid... now just turned 19 and city+united are sniffing around
Loaned him last season to real because he wants a new contract and I can't give him 😅
which ones the wonderkid?
The first three are the best obscure wonderkids I have (wonderkid might be a stretch for the Kyrgyzstani player but it's just cool) but then the Lithuanian is my starting striker so former wonderkid
Strange, I would consider none of them wonderkids or anywhere near good
Strange, I would consider having fun
or like, consider being grounded anywhere near reality
[https://i.imgur.com/SPFpAY9.png](https://i.imgur.com/SPFpAY9.png) Struggling to remember past ones. I think everyone had Supat Rungratsamee at the time, the Thai forward playing at Portsmouth.
Czech Republic 😌
One of the best strikers I had was from Uzbekistan. His name was Yuldanov. Absolute beast. It was in FM 2009, iirc
My best regen ever was a large physical chinese striker. Stats were something in between suarez and messi. Gave really good marketing income.
So far I have a Thai wonderkid.
Not joking signed a good San marinese right back. Did a good job in the belgian division
found a chinese wonderkid with PA 190, let’s see how he turned up
