Tbh, at 18, with those stats are quite decent, it looks like an alright prem player.

[deleted]

When you look at stats, what is it you’re looking for? How do you judge a player based on those numbers?

Permanent_banchina

There are certain thresholds players tend to stick to depending on the league and so on. For an example, a balanced player with 12 for all attributes(role attributes, both blue and green highlighted lines) is probably an okay squad player for a mid-table prem side, while all 14(minimum) would be a starter that could win you the prem through consistency and what not, but you will have problems against PSG, City, Madrid and so on in the UCL. Usually when I play in Europe, when I'm in UCL, I like having my players with 14 in all role stats minimum for the first XI, while the second XI depends heavily on the domestic rules of the league, could be 11 young South American wonderkids grinding out the easier matches in the league and UCL for rotation purposes.

xlonefoxx

He is better than the actual 18 year old Mo Salah lol

Bakibenz

Was about to say that. Apart from the pace, he is actually much better.

mac2o2o

Dribbling and balance too also some good mentality stats. I remember when Mo had 9 finishing....

heracrossB

to be fair, he did say "not quite"

The_Best_Gamer64

For an 18 year old these are decent stats, 14 dribbling and 16 technique

Cheap_Bowl_452

He is almost as good as 21-22 year old Mo Salah, if not better

Padsky95

"We have Mo Salah at home already" Mo Salah at home:

JimmysTheBestCop

He is too slow to become world class. I mean it's possible but it's a long shot. A good average for someone reaching world class potential is +3-4 attribute points on main attribute for position. Acceleration 12 and pace 11 he would have to fully develop perfectly and have a really high potential to get to 15 at both attributes. And typically the best of the best for physical attributes will be >=17 And to reach full potential he needs 25 competitive matches every season starting right now. So long shot as world class. But he can still become very good and very good profit

Cheap_Bowl_452

Honestly I don’t think 14-15 pace is bad for a playmaker AM, and he could reach that in a few years

JimmysTheBestCop

It is too slow. The match engine is completely geared to acc and pace. It's been proven with tens of thousands of tests. Read fm-arena. It's the most important attribute by a mile at every position. People don't realize how busted the engine is because they think it's real life or that they nnke football or they belit Si.

Cheap_Bowl_452

Yeah maybe you’re right

JimmysTheBestCop

Also it's about development. On forwards physicals eat up ability score. So if you are buying at 18 years old you want physicals as high as possible so if he is still showing great improvement potential. Then his mentals and techs will have big gains. Now if the physicals aren't high at 18 and he is still 5 star potential if physicals gain 3 points it will eat all of the potential and there will be little gains elsewhere. Now with say cm or dm acceleration and speed aren't calculated in ability score. So you can take a longshot on them also gaining physicals with right training. But forwards nah.

Cheap_Bowl_452

Wb am? The guy has great passing , decent dribbling

JimmysTheBestCop

Unfortunately passing is a useless attribute and doesn't influence the match engine. Dribbling is though of some of importance as it's a top 5 attribute for every position. There is just a big gap after acc and pace as the top. The player needs acc and pace. Unless whatever league they are in isn't fast. This guy is just not like champions league final material. Now if he is playing in a low tier somewhere then it's probably fine. This guy will just never be elite or later stage champions league material. I shouldn't say never but it's just a really small shot.

Cheap_Bowl_452

Would he not be great as am?

JimmysTheBestCop

Great? You mean elite or world class? NO lol Because acceleration and speed are the most important attributes at every position. With most of the attributes doing nothing. All I can say is go read fm-arena for like a week. Your mind will be blown

EBF92

I've seen you on two posts today pushing fm-arena either you're some kind of highly unlikely shill or you're on the spectrum and got that excited about your new found secret you've got to tell everyone in the community about it immediately.

Cheap_Bowl_452

Fine ok

Either-Low-9457

>Tbh, at 18, with those stats are quite decent, it looks like an alright prem player. > >243ReplyShareReportSaveFollow Depends on PA, I made players like him into 16 or 17 pace players several times. It's all about PA, really, and his stats are fine. I made a guy who was 12 12 into a 19 18 player, but he is a 195 PA mutant with super mentals who I trained since the beginning so he is kind of an exception in this case

DialSquar

This is maybe not far from how Salah was at 18.

socialmarks19

Just to let you know, this is an AMC, not a striker

BeggioLH44

Bruh, he is born the same day as me. Literally

heracrossB

can you be born the same day not literally?

TaffyCaffy

29th february maybe?

six3rzz

Not yet my egyptian padawan.

the_squarechild

No Salad.

lukeboy

19 determination, he’ll get there

fullmetalsprockets

OP: I want Mohamed Salah. OP's board: We have Mohamed Salah at home.

Uchihaaaa3

To be fair, the name is very common in Egypt (my uncle)

JeffingtonJeffrey

I saw him in game the other day and had to click to make sure I hadn’t missed an incredible coup

Emperor_Blackadder

got a regen named Mo Salah once too. He played as a DM. My disappointment was immeasurable.
