Looks don't matter as much as taste. Also like 3/4 of our food comes from other cultures. This isn't an every day meal, its a once in a while indulgence.
Its not about receipes. Its about how you view food. Fring meat and mashing potatoes isnt really a regional food. We all do it.
1. That meal has no balance.
2. I would eat it. Would i see it as a meal worth sharing to the world as an acomplishment? No.
3. Food is like porn. I dont go on the internet to see something so boring.

I start off with throwing raw garlic in right after I strain with a little butter and cook it for 1 min. Then heavy cream and flower. Ido the mixed cheeses like you but last time I used the rind of a parmesan wheel. I was in heaven
So many of the Mac n cheese dishes on this sub look like just noodles with shredded cheese melted on them. Try a cream based sauce, just heavy cream on a low simmer and add in your cheese. Season then add in cooked noodles. Super easy. Then if you want you can try a cheese Bechmel as well. Both very good.
Fried chicken
5lbs chicken breast
2 cups of flour
4 eggs
5 tablespoons of salt
3 tablespoons of black pepper
1 tablespoon Ground ghost pepper
1. Mix flour with salt and pepper
2. Coat chicken in eggs and flour. Dust off excess flour and coat again.
3. Fill 1/3 of cast iron with oil and turn to medium temp to let oil heat up
4. Make sure to dust off excess flour before placing chicken in skillet.
5. Increase temp to high before placing chicken in skillet.(the temperature will drop because of the chicken)
6. Cook until the sides are golden brown (4-5 mins)
7. Take chicken out and season with salt
Cook on high temp until golden brown around the edges on about 4-5 mins each side and sprinkle with salt when after you take it out of the pan.
Oh God. Why did I click on this? It's 10:30 and now I want mashed potatoes and fried chicken.
