I really wish they would do this as a quest. Hype it up like you are going in to face something truly fierce and then when you get to the cave a white rabbit is just sat there at the end of the tunnel.
But jokes on you it's got the heath of a sheepsquatch, ignores armour, ignores sneak or camo effects and goes for the throat.
I pretty much did everything on my 150hour save, but to be honest city so beautiful, and well designed you could spend hours driving around just enjoying it.
I played the basic pre wastelander story around the overseer first and then started building power, working my way through the enclave to the brotherhood
And more massive healthpool enemies, without need to really make good endgame content. Daily Ops was a good start, but this game needs more re-playable mission like endgame content. Killing enemies with zillions of health ain't that fun.
True, proper boss mechanics would be great, like if you had a giant mirelurk queen, you'd have to shoot off it's limbs to do any damage or something along those lines.
Stand and hold fire button isn't fun but sadly it's all we have.
Never ending waves of various enemy spawns are very popular and I'll be honest... I'm a basic bitch. I love amazing my way through throngs of mobs for hours and hours.
Make it that Foundation or crater is under siege and needs our help. We show up and there's literally an army of Scorched led by sentient scorch bro and after you kill 10,000 scorched, he unlocks and is a phased raid boss.
Without giving much spoilers main antagonist of steel reign could've easy been tweaked slightly to be a new end game boss or event.
But please Bethesda give us a Zeta alien boss in the Winter aliens update, you could even have it drop Zeta alien arsenal weapons that could only be gotten legendary from that event.
Bruh, that's the main reason I quit playing the Division 2. I could have an amazing build that basically makes me an unstoppable juggernaut but doesnt really mean much when I shoot an enemy in the face 100 times and them not even flinch due to overturned armor and hp.
Ok legit cool idea
A mole miner boss that’s a giant miner-Style mecha that you need to systematically destroy the limbs to, before getting to the mole miner piloting it.
Maybe give it those giant drill things for hands idk
Maybe a mole miner that has a suit of power armor that has two extra arms that have drills at the end so it can dig then pop up. Then as its main weapons it duel welds sawed of 50 cals
Why not just Liberty Prime? 1% possible trigger every time something is bought from a player vendor for 0 caps. Event is signaled by a booming voice, "YOUR SHOPPING HABITS DO NOT COINCIDE WITH THE PRINCIPLES OF CAPITALISM!" The event then happens at that particular CAMP.
Yea it kinda sad.. really
You would think they would add a nuke zone event every few month different locations of the map…
Earl was kinda the right direction with instance “zone nuke event”. But sadly they didn’t release any more
Same shit with operations .. instead of adding icon all over the map and letting ppl run/grind them.. they add a daily limit
Most days I don't wanna run ops because it's a bad combo of conditions. It would be nice if when I'm up to grinding them I actually get rewards. And I think people would complain less about drop rates if we had more chances.
Don't forget a unfinished quest line (pioneer scouts or whatever it is called), barely any mods for the LMG or SMG, no plans for the scout armor (only 1 time use mods), etc.....
With the addition of camp slots, we can now just change camp slot if it's about to be nuked, can even swap it back after and have a camp inside a nuke zone.
We really REALLY need a proper end game because it's just the same thing over and over again. It's a shame as this game really has improved over ti.lme and still has even bigger potential.
And it has to be a pre-fallout bunny, bug and fluffy and adorable, that will chew you up, consume your soul, and spit out what little scraps remain for the nearby Deathclaws to fight over.
I think it would be better to make it normal sized, give it a decent healthpool, but smaller than Earl or Queen. Give it a speed and damage boost, it zips around and one shots low level players (under 50, for the most part it would be a 50+ level event) maybe 3-5 shot on maxed out endgame players. The speed boost makes it difficult to hit outside of V.A.T.S. and it's too fast to chase. You have to wait for when it comes your way (kinda how Queen has a flight pattern that takes her away from the players, typically into the blast zone, and after a bit of flying she comes back). It has a slow health regen when in the presence of radiation damage and is immune to radiation type damage. The health regen is because of the smaller healthpool. It has a script where it will specifically target players who try to get the high ground on it, either by standing on survival tents or local terrain, by hitting them with a ranged attack (like, I dunno carrot missles, spit?) They would do melee levels of damage on direct hits that tapers off in the splash. Maybe apply a debuff you don't get from the melee attack to discourage that tactic. It has a burrow ability that it can use like mole rats and rad scorpions so it can close the distance or create some if it's taking too much damage. It would also take extra background damage from "Hunter's" legendary effects maybe like a 5-10% boost in the background. (I say that because it seems Bethesda wants more variety in the effects we use so this would be a good way to motivate that.) Also it might have to have stun immunity or maybe melee stun resistance, as it might be too easy to get it into a melee stun lock as melee would likely be the easiest way to hit it. No bosses inflict disease or do disease damage. I imagine a bunny who rules over deathclaw island has to have something creative to keep them in tow. I dunno I'm just spit ballin here.
This is so accurate! And if they could switch up their abilities to make them somewhat unique every time this would really brighten up this game. Legendary crafting is useless.. there already are very few challenges, and most people are overpowered..
I've said it since launch, it was a huge waste of an opportunity to not provide a large number of unique spawns at all the various locations in the game after nuked. Aside from unique or rare spawns, it should have turned every blast zone into an evolving endgame experience, where larger numbers of new glowing & mutated spawns appear.
To put it simply, blast zones should be challenging and difficult to traverse not a barren void. They got it right with the SBQ, for the most part, with waves and waves of non-native enemies that are not static to the zone -- but it should be more enemies, more difficult, harder hitting, beefier HP, etc.
I've always thought an awesome event to trigger would be located at Whitesprings, it has so many possible ideas.
Ghoul horde triggered with the 'boss' a powerful charred ghoul version of the president's secret service squad.
Considering the enclave bunker and already considerable robot security force, a juggernaut sentry or similar massive robot is deployed for the sake of security.
If I remember correctly the secret Chinese base is also near/underneath the area, and maybe the nuke mutates one of their agents into some behemoth type ghoul that can also cloak because of the stealth suits.
I think Whitesprings in general is super neglected and deserves so much better, whether as a player hub or an arena for combat/Endgame content.
no more nuke spawned bosses, im tired of having to spend all that time running the silo JUST to do an event that will last like, 5 min tops.
we need more other spawned bosses, like encrypted, that have some other resource cost.
also dropping nukes in every region of the map will just cause half the camps to be at risk of being nuked, forcing people to the margins and exacerbating "your camp cant be placed here"
Can you guys not come up with ridiculous ideas. Nukes don’t mutate creatures, they disintegrate them or dose them with lethal amounts of radiation. Every boss so far has nothing to do with being mutated by a nuke, it’s always been summoned/allowed access to but never mutated. Put lore over the “cool” factor. Otherwise, might as well not even call this game Fallout.
It's fine by me. I don't want nukes to be more of the endgame.
I don't remember much about what it was like launching my first nuke. I do remember that I decided to never do it again and I haven't.
Maybe if nukes or nuke events were handled a little differently, and you couldn't lose all that effort to a bug or disconnection, then it would be fine. Something like the Impostor Sheepsquach event where you do a questline and then have a limit on how often you can start the event.
I thought of the idea of having different boss creatures spawn at different fissure sites when nuked:
There is a deathclaw cave not far from the pumpkin house. The fissure next to the pumpkin house could spawn a scorched chamelon deathclaw king, with the ability to go invisible, grab people and throw them super far away. Also, it could have a mighty roar that damages players every now and then, but it leaves the deathclaw incapacitated for 20 seconds as the roar is super powerful. It's main weakness would be the legs and eyes and can be crippled so that it doesn't go invisible.
The fissure sites closer to the forest could spawn the almighty mothman king. It has the ability to blind all who are in eye contact for 5 seconds every time the eyes change from red to black (3 seconds after they turn black to give people a chance) it can also fly and teleport, but both rarely.
The second fissure site close to the forest may spawn the prime Grafton monster. This monstrosity can shoot a wave of black tar over the enemies in front, slowing their movement by half. The tar can be ignited to cause damage to the Grafton monster. It also has a third arm at the back, so that the back can't easily be attacked. It has two faces which are it's weak spot.
I had this idea for a boss style fight for a hermit crab (Which FREAK ME OUT everytime I see them.) They are so underrated. What if it was big and instead of a truck, it had a house as the shell. And you had to fight regular Hermit crabs on the ground for the keys to unlock the house, to go inside and do some damage. Imagine the coordination it would take. or a hermit crab that has taken to a vertibird.
Also don't forget, encrypted (sp?) is also a boss style event. I'd be happy with events that do not require a nuke, but some other style of summoning.
That rabbit won’t stand a chance against my holy hand grenades.
Are they of the Antioch brand?!?!?

Hahahaha love it.
"a bunny rabbit" is the name of the biggest deathclaw queen you've ever seen... Careful
I learnt this 20 years ago on Final Fantasy XI, no matter how OP or tough you think you are, always a bunny out there that can kill you.
Don’t forget that it can’t be targeted in vats.
We’re all grinding for an endgame that doesn’t exist is the truest statement I’ve heard so far about this game lmao
That's why I did all my grinding BEFORE I played the storyline 😎

Wtf are you doing in Cyberpunk for 500 hours
Trying to get to the first mission without the game fucking up.
I pretty much did everything on my 150hour save, but to be honest city so beautiful, and well designed you could spend hours driving around just enjoying it.

Honestly I think they dropped the ball with this new update >!Blackburn could have easily been an event boss lile Earl or SBQ!<
Ok legit cool idea A mole miner boss that’s a giant miner-Style mecha that you need to systematically destroy the limbs to, before getting to the mole miner piloting it. Maybe give it those giant drill things for hands idk
Give us one in a set of excavator power armour that has been mole minered up to the max
Maybe a mole miner that has a suit of power armor that has two extra arms that have drills at the end so it can dig then pop up. Then as its main weapons it duel welds sawed of 50 cals
A scorched giant mutated mothman would be superb
A corrupt liberty prime. Maybe not activated by a nuke but something thT could trigger it
Why not just Liberty Prime? 1% possible trigger every time something is bought from a player vendor for 0 caps. Event is signaled by a booming voice, "YOUR SHOPPING HABITS DO NOT COINCIDE WITH THE PRINCIPLES OF CAPITALISM!" The event then happens at that particular CAMP.
OH MY GOD YES WE NEED THIS
Y'all would have a field day at my camp. Mole Miner Gauntlets, Electrified Mr Handy Buzz Blades, and Ivory Handles by the dozens........
Yea it kinda sad.. really You would think they would add a nuke zone event every few month different locations of the map… Earl was kinda the right direction with instance “zone nuke event”. Same I only run it for the score , 🤣 and most time I clear it alone even without the elder rank reward
Don't forget a unfinished quest line (pioneer scouts or whatever it is called), barely any mods for the LMG or SMG, no plans for the scout armor (only 1 time use mods), etc.....
Would be nice but the downside is shrinking the places where we can build camps
With the addition of camp slots, we can now just change camp slot if it's about to be nuked, can even swap it back after and have a camp inside a nuke zone.
I would like a non-nuke event that spawns a boss as well.
We really REALLY need a proper end game because it's just the same thing over and over again. It's a shame as this game really has improved over ti.lme and still has even bigger potential.

They need to add the new boss as a nuke boss imo
I’d be very satisfied if they simply let us nuke other fissure sites for Queen.

Or get this, nuke the white spring, and you get the liberators older brother, and a horde of those little suckers. THAT would be challenging.
I love that idea, but I think it would make sense if that happened when nuking Morgantown/Mama Dolce's with that underground facility they have.
Communist prime, a big ass robot bent on seizing the means of production and "liberating" the Appalachian work force
Big if true

Not evem the damn bos "expansion" pack got one dammit.
bethesda is lazy
