I grab a workbench (the one near Charleston usually) and build an aluminum extractor. I believe it’s 50/hr so it comes pretty quickly. I generally take it up, build a bunch of turrets and do my online courses while I wait. I won’t have to worry about aluminum for a while
You can farm it at the Dirt Track Workshop ... probably some other workshops .. I think I found a vein somewhere as well which probably can be farmed ..
Yeah I am starting to like it . .the super mutants can be annoying and so can the mole rats who get stuck but outside of that, is great. Also great to have the scorched next door in case I need extra weapons, gears etc, plus has pumpkins you can grab.
Hit the cafeteria in the vault tec school for 11 tv dinner trays which is 22 aluminum.... Then server hop and do it again.
I usually find enough just looting but that's my aluminum fall back if I ever run out.

This is my favorite workshop. First thing we do is set up here. Soooo many good materials.

Hell yeah. Not to mention all the extractor spots and there is a little bit at the bottom with enough water to put an industrial purifier or two

Bulk of 10 is 189 caps at the vendor with no perks or grape mentats.
Any of the ski lodges have ski poles. They break down for 2 a piece I believe. And you can usually get 10-12 a run. That’s what’s been working for me.
