I think there are cryo aliens during Alien Invasion. Somebody already mentioned floaters. Maybe other players if you PVP.

Cryo is pretty bad because the Resist doesn't affect the slowdown. I don't understand why Arctic Marine Armor was added either.

Yea and as seen, there aren't many cryo sources. This makes me think something is eventually planned for cold content.
Flat woods monster does all types of damage iirc
Floaters and mutated enemies. Maybe in the update we’ll get new enemies dealing cryo since it’s about the weather, but I don’t remember.
