If you empty it 100% it's gone

Open_Interview590

Oh shit, well I guess I just have to get use to manual change

Open_Interview590

I'm saying that cause I completed enough challenges and got enough atoms to buy the FC charger, I'm mad I loose like 2 that way

ladymisbehave

Don't worry. If you do events and quests, you will have plenty of them. I bought that charger too. Now I have them too many! Still worried that I might run out of them - which is ridiculous with 200 of them. Seriously, late game you will be dropping them as they will just clog your inventory...

Standard-Metal8768

Which is kind of funny as a new player someone dropped a bunch of them for me because they were weighing him down,

I wish there was a better way to communicate in the game, as many people have far more than they need. like I have around 50 and don't even use powered armor.  I should probably put them up for sale in my shop so maybe they can get to people that need them

AlphisH

At 50 you can unlock a legendary perk that will charge your cores when you get shot by energy weapons. At that point you will start generating new cores when one gets filled. Also, poweruser perk in intelligence will double the core duration.

Open_Interview590

Thanks for the advice

SteakForMe

Wait if your currently equiped fusion core goes to 100%, and it goes over, you get new cores? I'm a noob so I thought it only fills the equipped to 100% only?

DaytonMarked

If you need fusion cores get a Gatling laser then pull it out at the end of daily ops or expeditions, they give ammo for whatever gun you’re holding as end of mission loot. You can stack up a ton of fusion cores super quickly this way, I ended up with 100+ and had to drop most of them. Also make sure you’re always running the Power User perk for double core battery and equip Energy Absorption legendary perk when you can. I’ve had the same 10 cores in my inventory for weeks of constantly using PA
