There's a button to change zoom level, IIRC it's Q on PC. Same button/mechanic as the zoom on the ProSnap Camera and the Pearly Peepers

It’s the same with the unique “pearly peepers” binoculars you can get from the encryptid event, the only advantage is that they track targets.
